What? My "G" or my Teller picture? (if Teller <3 him, I change it every now and then but the G is forever haha)
It was a bit shameful that she still wasn't sure what he liked to eat and drink. They had such little communication between them that Hermione wasn't sure if he even knew what her favorite color was ever since the war had ended. It was violet. For a while it had been pink, then baby blue. During the war all she saw was grey and red, smoke and blood. But now she saw a deep purple and it was somehow comforting to her. She liked violet. The name itself was soft and soothing and made her think of smooth velvet drapes and couches. "Alright, great." The witch replied and walked inside when he held the door open for her. The pair were seated quick enough which amazed Hermione since she had been bracing for a bit of a wait since it was the general time for dinner.

Hermione noticed Lupin looking around, she assumed he hadn't been out in a while. Having grown up in a muggle household, she was used to most things which witches and wizards might not be accustomed to. For a moment she thought of Ron and the look he'd get when she'd show him old things from her childhood like pictures that didn't move or toys that didn't talk back to you due to enchantments. "Thank you." She smiled wide when he pulled her seat out for her. It was very sweet of him. She had been so close to Harry and Ron that neither of them were really courteous around her. They saw her as a friend more than a female friend which she could understand. Sort of. She picked up one of the menus on the table and looked it over.

Her stomach was craving something like a burger and chips. That sounded good. Then again, she wasn't sure if she would want that or something like fried chicken and chips. Hermione looked over and tilted her head towards the ex-professor. "What looks good to you?" She asked him. They could share something if neither of them were confident about being able to eat a portion on their own. As far as drinks went, a milkshake would be a delightful treat. "I think I'll get a chocolate milkshake." It could be a nice reward for the hard work she had done, even if it meant her time turner had to have been put on hold, it was for a good cause after all. "But I'm not sure about what I'll eat..." Her voice trailed off a little as she looked at the menu again, thinking about breakfast now. A good hearty breakfast would be good too.

The Doctor's lips curved up in a smile at Rose's comment. The girl then proceeded to fill him in on what he was missing, or rather what he had missed out on. From the sounds of it, they had made an interesting team and that he had also regenerated. that's what he could gather anyway. The man sat down with Rose as she continued to talk, she seemed happy when she spoke of their meeting though in his own timeline, he had seen so much death, so many got left behind or left him and some even died. He could remember every name and face of everyone he encountered, good or bad. And it didn't matter if he only met them for five seconds and moved on to save the day, he still remembered them.

Though his adventures were dark and sometimes made for epic storytelling, the Doctor took his life seriously. It was long and twisted, spanning for centuries. He had met some incredible people, everyone of whom was important in some way. Everyone he met changed him and gave him hope for something. He closed his eyes for a moment and remembered his past lives, some of his faces were faded while some were still clear as day as if he was looking into a mirror right in front of him. When he opened his eyes, Rose had stopped speaking and he took the cue to get up and get them something to drink, as well as a snack. "I'll be right back." He told her with a crocked smile and got up, his long limbs moving with him to the counter.

He made a simple order, trying to not be too frivolous with Rose's money. He went to sit back down when someone said they'd bring him the order and check in a couple minutes. The Doctor took his seat across from Rose again and crossed his legs. It was so weird, so puzzling to meet someone who already knew him, or another part of him. And yet there was also a medical mystery afoot. Somehow it felt right. "I haven't had a companion in quite some time, i can only talk to the TARDIS for so long." He commented to Rose. "So how did you come into this timeline?" He asked her, it must have been quite a tricky feat. "Couldn't I save you? Or was this intended?" He wondered, his pale face frowning slightly.
Oh thanks, long time no see. ^^;
Okay, I don't mind waiting.

Even though the woods were an anomaly among the endless spanning valley of flat green hills and meadows of wheat, it was still bigger than one might think. A bird might see it as tiny but an explorer would have a far different perspective. Cyrill took the lead as suggested and mentioned that the area close by may not have been touched by anyone. At least recently. It was a good day, she couldn't imagine them not running into someone else but it was still possible that the forest would be their own hideaway for the day. They walked along and the sound of a river reached her ears before she even set her eyes upon it. Phaylin remained quiet, following her leader's suit.

As they began to follow the river upwards, Cyrill was clearly struggling but she knew he had pride and she held her tongue, even though she really wanted to tease him about his lack of physical strength. The day was so nice, that she couldn't disturb it. That wasn't to say that the next time he messed up, she would be as generous with her silence as she had been this time. When he stumbled again, he gave a grumble and she grinned. He began to dust himself as he had vanished the fearsome slope. "I should take you out for walks more often, you clearly need them." She grinned, unable to help herself this time.

His attention then moved to a bloodroot and she rolled her eyes. Since they were stopping for a bit, she went to pick out some other things which could come in handy. Unlike Cyrill, she didn't have anything in mind just yet, so she wasn't being too picky with whatever she harvested. It was always better to be over prepared than not at all. Her parents had a lot of things stored for their work and as she grew up, Phaylin learned to take whatever she could, as the fates could change any minute. "Hm?" She looked up to the boy, as he mentioned the waterfall she had a while ago.

"I'm not sure!" Her face brightened up.

"I've heard this and that about it..." Phaylin intentionally left any rumors or speculation as vague as possible. She wasn't too sure if he'd follow a river based on a rumor. She would, of course. Why not? "I think we should check it out." She told him, not wanting to do anything else now that he had given her the bait. There was no way she would let him get out of it now. She marched forward up the hill, intending on hurrying along. "Come on slow poke!" She called, not liking his pace one bit. Phaylin would have gotten behind him and pushed but she already knew it wouldn't end well for either of them if it came to physical attacks. As they followed the river, she kept her ears alert for any game, it would make a good feast if they were fortunate enough.

Syn had gotten herself something to eat.

And now their day could carry on. Nax tossed his trash away and went back to observing what they had found. "I don't know." He muttered. "Litter gets picked up if there ever is any." He commented and looked at the shard from both sides. On the back, there seemed to be words but without the whole thing, they were meaningless to him. He could speculate of course, as to what the words meant but it would be a waste of time, he was sure. The shards were probably nothing at all. Syn blurted out that they could be something to do with taking over the world. He snorted and went back to looking at his own reflection as his friend pointed a laser at the object, checking out as anyone would in their position.

Syn then mentioned the laser bounced off but it all went through. That was odd. Really odd. He looked over to see what she was doing. "Hmm..." He took her piece gently, wondering if they could match up. He checked the back of hers, it had writing on the back too. After some trial and error, he could fit them together. "Weird. They're from the same mirror." Did that mean anything? He couldn't make out the words still, even with a bit of help from Syn's shard but he wondered if there were anymore around them. "Be careful." He warned as he looked around, trying to spot any other glint in the sunlight.

Sadly he didn't see anything else which puzzled him even more. Nax moved closer to Syn, the two of them still crouched in the artificial cluster of greenery. As he looked at him and her in the mirror, the background suddenly faded into something else. Their scenery changed. Rather than see their sleek buildings in the sky with digital advances, they were now in some other kind of urban world. Cars weren't in the sky, they were on the ground and buildings were dirty. In the background behind them, people in loose fitted clothing passed along the sidewalk, some people were angry while most were silent in their trudging along.

He took the mirror pieces apart and then put them back together which put him and Syn back in the rather bleak world of dirt and isolation. He had no idea what they had just seen. An optical illusion? A trick surely but whatever for? "That was strange." It kept getting stranger too. Nax handed Syn back her own treasure, not sure what to do with his. He figured he could take it into work and run some tests, see what was going on. "It's clever, I'll give it that much." He smiled a little and got to his feet. He made his way back out to the other side and stretched his arms. His mind no longer lingered on the jerk from earlier, and was now pacing around the weird mirror he had found. There was something different about it, something that affected him somehow.
His response left her feeling rather unsatisfied. With the world in such a state, she could barely imagine someone coming from somewhere, as well as going somewhere else. Maybe the state of things weren't so bad. Mela wasn't so sure. She had no real knowledge in the real world to properly assess the man's statement. Was he coming from a town and going to another? Or was he going to a camp, having come from some profitable sort of location such as a field or thick wooded area? All she could do was speculate since he didn't appear very cooperative. When she tossed him the small meager bit of sustenance, she didn't expect thanks or anything. It would be courteous of him but she didn't expect it, not after just spending a few short minutes with the guy. He was clearly one without manners and it seemed pointless to try and foster any sort now, not when they would surely be disconnecting their paths and carrying on with whatever it was they were doing.

When he spoke in elfish, it went over her head. While Mela was aware and interested in her complicate heritage, she wasn't able to master much of the language itself. She was sure her lack of insight would upset him but it wasn't much of her concern at this point. He already didn't like her. Nor did she have anything wonderful to say regarding his showing of character. Slowly, Prince Caerleon shook her head, unable to confirm any hopes that have spurred up inside his chest. She also declined to share whether she was going to or coming from somewhere in particular. If he could be nit-picky with his own discretion then she could she. And she also didn't think she should tell him she was lost and was going someplace, since that place was meant to be kept a secret. In her heart, she knew she would be alight as long as she kept moving and didn't show her heart as much.

That seemed to be working well enough for the stranger.

Not that Mela wanted to become him.

He was cold and something about him wasn't right. She had spent too much time and energy dealing with him and it was evidently not paying off. The best choice now was to move on. If he was coming from somewhere, then it might be worth looking into. Of course he could be lying. She decided to stick to the direction which she been going in before those three ruffians intervened. In her mind, her patience had already been wasted so she saw no reason why she needed to bid the crude strange any consideration as she looked around, readying herself to leave. She used her sword to cut off some of the cloth that she could use to store food or patch up wounds with her healing spells. Aside from that, Mela was ready to keep moving. With darkness settling around them she needed to keep moving or find a place to stop and rest for a while. Rest would help the woman get her magical skills back but since she was using them so keep her warm or hydrated or even enclosed in a stone structure, she may need more time away from danger, not just rest.

It was a shame the three assailants had to die, at least one should have lived but Mela was stronger, knew better than to mourn for those who were no longer suffering on the broken earth where she still stood. She thought of her family and their own health and safety. In her heart, she didn't doubt their state. She was sure she would find a way to reunite with them and help restore the planet back to its former glory. The blond woman went back to walking, with the attack over and the danger left behind, she could focus on what was ahead of her. She had her sword stored, tied to her waist for easy access. Her heart rate had steadily fallen back to normal though that didn't mean her guard was done. A little danger could keep the princess on her toes, prove that the outside world wasn't as hopeful and brilliant as she might have anticipated. Mela thought if she could just find a village, someone might have information to help her.

The whereabouts of the safe house were unknown to her, but that didn't mean she couldn't use her intuition and family history to make a good guess as to where her brother and the others might be. As she walked up along the slim slant of the hill, she saw a cluster of bugs up ahead, their bodies lit up like a fiery candle. They were beautiful and could provide some source of light. In her mind bugs meant that food was around, that the local ecosystem had yet to crumbled. Food or plants surely would be up ahead and that gave her a bit of a hope. Her stomach was yearning for some food but she told herself she could last at least two more days before using a bit of her rations. Survival was proving to be more mental than anything else. Mela knew she'd have to be more careful about judging people and giving handouts. Nothing could be wasted. Nor could she allow herself to be deceived or taken advantage of.
Hey you! I must say it's an interesting twist. Being an avid Harry & Hermione shipper, I still find myself intrigued by the plot. Most Draco & Hermione plots are strained and don't show much promise but this twist surely refreshes things! Anyone lurking, he's a good RPer, you should totally sign up. If you don't find anyone interesting, I wouldn't mind trying this (despite my heart's yearning) as Draco or Hermione. At any rate, thought I'd give you up a bit of a bump!

Sorry, I still don't understand. Can you give me an example?

I'd like you to tell me about the character you're intending to play so we don't end up for example, have similar concepts.
You're welcome

For YYH, should I assume 1x1 or you thinking of a group?
So far we have the following:

Tony x Pepper and Charles x Raven

I'll be Pepper and Charles and you'll be Tony and Raven. We could bring in other roles such as Magneto, Black Widow, Captain America etc down the line. We still need to figure out when this takes place and during which canon events. I would assumed we might do this between either Iron Man 2 and Avengers OR between Avengers and Iron Man 3. As far as the X-Men verse goes, did we want them as young adults or older adults? I was not a big fan of X2 and X3. I have seen Days of Future Past and wasn't too thrilled with it either, so we might want to do something with First Class?
