I think I'm gonna unsubscribe, it's been quite a while since I heard from you.
Crap. Sorry about the mega delay.

Urgh.

Anyway. The Avengers thing hasn't taken off yet (my intro has not been replied to in about a week) so I have no idea if I should count that chicken as hatched or not...It's a bit annoying but life happens. We could always do some kind of GotG/Avengers/XMen crossover if we wanted to spice things up. That might be a bit much but it is a suggestion. And in terms of YYH, I'd be quite down (or up I guess) to do that because finding people to do it is rare, and people who don't have Kurama (Yoko) with Hiei or some god awful OC are pretty rare as well.
Quick Premise: Whether you're an atheist or a recovering catholic. Or even a Buddhist or Muslim, the idea of what lies beyond death is a worry that can keep anyone up at night. The notion that people die too young, too soon, without reason is troublesome and deserves some attention. So many people die every day, from disease, from an accident, from even someone pulling the trigger and ending it without a question or even apology. Everyone dies, death is unavoidable. Some people like to quell their worries with religion while others have a more candid and cool approach and know that you only get one life and that's it. So when a group of complete strangers die and find themselves not in Hell or Heaven but on another planet far away from the Milky Way, what would happen? Faith comes into question. People are forced to reevaluate their beliefs and embark on a journey that is just beginning. Their time on Earth is over with but that doesn't mean they're really dead. Many paths can be selected and many mistakes can be made. People are given a chance to find a new life, resolve their past and even move on. This group of people are ordinary, given the same treatment as everyone else who has died, could they be reunited with lost ones? Or will their choices send them down another road to another planet further away?

GM Notes: This is something I'm fiddling with and has to do with NaNoWriMo but to further explore plot and depth I'd like to try it with a group on here. My Group RPs are slow but progressing enough for me to throw out another line into the Advanced Pool of writers. The idea is simple and our group will be guided by various people and fantastical creatures. Their location is space, just further from home than they've ever been. I'd like to stress that this is meant to develop characters and various relationships and bonds they may form and have to let go of. There won't be any space monsters or aliens here but there will be personal demons as well as more serious conflict with other humans and guides they meet along the way. So if you're itching to fight with guns and have excitement all around, this isn't for you. This is something close to my heart and I'm interested to see if anyone else is willing to confront their own fears of death with me. This is meant to be fun but in an exploratory sense of what could be a grand adventure of survival and human spirit. If you're interested, please speak up.

Because the OOC won't contain too much more than this, kicking things off won't be too hard to do. So with any luck, a few lost souls will be ready to go this weekend.
I've never played WoW personally but it's possible we can snag different races/classes/missions and mix and match from various fandoms for inspiration. I would say any mission/quest could require different types of players. As you mentioned, healers/clerics/medics/etc are pretty useful. I could see some missions/quests requiring them while others wouldn't allow them, maybe for added challenge. In regards to how I see my role, I'm happy to play a healer type or someone who does a bit of both close combat and spells.

I think having the two players be friends, trade items and look out for one another since they began would also work out and make sense. It would give them a good relationship without us having to struggle to deal with introductions and getting to know each character.

I can work on my CS, were you thinking of using pictures for appearances? If so, real life or anime? If not, just tell me. I'd rather us be on the same page in terms of cohesiveness.
Bump.
Awesome!
Her face fell when the Doctor mentioned that he wasn't real fond of chocolate. if she had known that, she would have tried to do something with oatmeal or peanut butter. But who could say no to chocolate? Rose almost wanted to reconsider their partnership considering he wasn't one for chocolate. Maybe out in the great void of space, there was something the Doctor really enjoyed, the way some humans loved chocolate or cherries. What was his weakness? "Yeah I guess dogs don't go well with chocolate." She considered, knowing most got sick and some even died because of it. And though it wasn't her fault for not knowing his likes and dislikes, Rose still felt bad, or at least uncomfortable that her gesture hadn't gone over as well as she had first intended it to.

All the same, he snags a cookie before she can tell him that he doesn't have to, if he doesn't want to.

The man made another comment that it wasn't a great comparison and she stalls as he takes a bite of the cookie. her eyes watched him carefully, wondering if he'd lie to spare her feelings or if he'd really rather have something else. Guys could be hard to shop for, and in this case, cook for. The Doctor was a puzzle, ever changing and quite complicated. Rose hoped she'd be able to figure him out someday and maybe it would begin with learning what he liked and didn't like to eat. Then the man finally exclaims a favorable response and her face regains color, glad she didn't kill him or something. It was a relief to know he could at least try her chocolate chip cookies, she had to wing the recipe but to her, it was pretty spot on, considering the kitchen she had to use.

"O-oh good." She sighed, calming down a little. His smile is infectious and allows her to relax easier, a small smile creeping across her own face which is slightly flushed due to the anxiety of having made something he might have hated. The man finishes his tweaking and beckons her to him which she follows without any question. The blond is curious to see where they are this time. She hoped that this venture wouldn't be as deadly as the others have been. Even if it was though, she was pretty confident in the Doctor and their ability to get out in one piece. He steps out first and finishes the introduction. She moved and set the tray of cookies down by the door but not before grabbing one herself.

The sunlight was bright and reassuring. So far, so good. "New Earth?" She repeated as she stepped out and felt grass fall under her weight. The shop girl moved out further and saw a glorious horizon spread out. She remembered the first place she went with the Doctor, to a space station where they saw the Earth blow up. They met a bitchy trampoline and several others as well, all interested in watching her home planet burst into flames and debris. "It's lovely." She commented and looked around, her head eventually going back to where the man stood outside the TARDIS. "What's that smell?" She sniffed around. it was sweet. She looked down and quizzically tcourched down to pick at the grass. Was that where the smell was coming from?

"Blimey the grass smells like...like apples!" She laughed and picked some and sniffed it more closely.

Could she eat it? Should she?

"It's beautiful." Rose finally said and stood up, grinning. "Fantastic!" She added brightly.
It's fine! Billie Piper is just as awesome as Rose.

Edit: Post up~! Even if the site says I didn't lol
I really hope by the time it's been a year since we started the IC, that we have at least a second page started. ^^;
