With that in mind *gestures to the above post* it should be safe to assume that those lending a hand to help the princess would be at least at the intermediate level/caste of magic and should be able to hold their own and by most accounts, know a handful of tried and true spells. I would then like to assume (if I haven't already, sorry) our ages would be in their middle twenties to middle thirties or forties. I'm more keen to play those who are adults in this concept because they seem more likely candidates unless the other three roles (prince, princess, rival) are oddly young but then again, that shouldn't effect our group anyway.

So I think I've got a better picture in mind but I'll still need to jot down some traits and skills for m roles so I can keep them in line. I know you're not one for sheets but I'll probably stash general bullet points somewhere in the OOC. If you wanted to write the IC, be me guest and I'll follow suit unless I have some questions for you. I'm hoping to get to a steady point where I don't feel like you're the GM and I'm not contributing anything. ^^

We did want the siblings to have a disagreement anyway, maybe Meela was the behind the scenes turning point that make Xana and Xano drift apart from one another. I know we wanted the girl to have fire bending and him to have water and be the more assertive one but I keep forgetting which name is which. I though Xano was the boy and Xana was the girl right?

I assume one needle would put the disease into the bender and as their system is weakened, they sneak another injection which extracts the bending itself, as well as the life force. So in that regard, we could have Xana not go back for Meelo because she is doesn't agree but maybe she extracted Pema first and some air bending was picked up and thus she didn't think they need to use Meelo too, thus he recovers on his own without the second secret visit?

Would that make sense?

We could have Snow rig the reaping. I also wanted Effie to pull the envelope from the boys even though Gale just volunteered. And that he would have been reaped regardless since his name would have been called but I would have Effie reveal that sometime after the train ride if needed to calm people the fuck down.

I figure mine could get them there, you could have them set up a camp, mine would intro the danger and yours could take down the deer, mine would be the aftermath and yours would be some more fluff and then we could skip ahead? I think during this stage, I'd want Gale to talk to Haymitch and I'd like Gale to also give Prim the token he made for her. Any thoughts on your end?

Awesome, it looks like you've got a great handle on the way things can balance out in terms of basic stats with attack and defense with the varying races and classes. If you wanted to edit a post here and make a formal grid or collection of the info, that would be pretty helpful. Or I can do it if you'd like me to. I do agree that them venting online about their offline issues would be a good place to start. Though since we are putting them in a small town, I don't think they'll be "meeting" offline for the first time. I think I mentioned in a post or two above that they could have known each other for a couple years, of course if one moved into town during high school then their jarring interactions could be minimized until;university.

We just need to be on the same page as far as their interactions in the past.

I think depending where the sole conflict lies, we could have things 35-65 in terms of online-offline interactions. I do think them retreating offline to handle their issues would make sense, but the big issue would be why they don't see eye to eye in the first place and what made them grind one another's gears.

I think (if I recall properly) that yours would be sort of the quiet/loner sort and mine would be more optimistic and bubbly, so aside from that, there could be some event in high school or middle school that created a large rift like some petty argument.
