I think the author intended for people to fall in love with Peeta x Katniss and many did, seriously, almost everyone on the net love them but...I don't see it. I wish I did but I don't. Haymitch's games were sad, yeah they should have included that info in the movies but what can ya do? Peeta and Katniss' moment do kind of have to be forced since the first movie is them pretending to be in love, or Katniss pretending anyway. Well the end of the movie should show you or give you a hint as to why Haymitch prefers Katniss over Peeta and why he's not around. >__>'

The thing is, mmidnight vanished for like 2-3 months and then came back for us to figure out what we wanted and for the longest time I wasn't sure how into THG I could get because it had been a long time since I did anything with it but she and I just click so flippin' well and it's obvious we're the most active for one another's RPs. That's it, our activity and mindset are just really solid. I mean it could be GoT or LoK I'm sure, for a while we weren't this active but it's just based on what else we have going on. But you're becoming more active now so I get to make room for you too and keep it in mind. ^^; If you did ever ship Katniss x Haymitch, I'd probably die...of happiness cause...eh they're a lot more recent for teacher x student than Kakasaku #justsayin but still, kakasaku is the original flagship for taboo shit. :3

The issue is Haymitch focused on Katniss in the first Games and didn't really reach out to Peeta who thought 'oh well imma die anyway' though he didn't need as much help as Katniss did with the injuries she got...the point is Katniss is ticked off (like Sakura probably in a way) that he didn't do his job as mentor for both her and Peeta who did get out alive with her. I think the second book (if Katniss really did care about Peeta as a friend or if Haymitch felt in debt...) should have had Haymitch in the Games in Peeta's place. Katniss knows Peeta saved her in the first Games and she feels like Haymitch also owes Peeta some credit too. Does that make sense? And you'll see Haytmich does have another motive for saving Katniss and making her the star, which is why their relationship is on the rocks come the third part of the trilogy which is such a shame...it won't skin my Haymitch x Katniss ship though!

And yes, she should thank you. XD Though I'm just glad you're giving the movies a chance. Even if you're into them, it's still cool to have something else to talk about.

URGH. -falls down a flight of stairs- Too much angst! T___T

It's the latter eheh...yeah. But even Katniss admits she doesn't deserve Peeta. I will say he is loyal but that's about it. But she's loyal to him too but it's coming from a different place I think. The thing is in Mockingjay, she does really care about Peeta but only because he...well er...um.,..yeah I won't say anything then but she cares about him but I honestly do not see it as love and I feel really bad for Katniss since she gets so much crap about her and Peeta when it wasn't her choice. She did what she had to do and I only wish she and him had talked about their relationship and what it really was...not what it was to everyone on the outside. Poor Peeta...poor poor Peeta...when I read about what happened in Mockingjay, even I threw my book across the room, like...urgh...a lot of fans didn't care for the last book but overall it did have plenty of action and emotions.

Yes it is depressing. Wait, so you've never seen CF or you just saw bits of it...? Okay in Prim's defense she does shit in the third book/movie. Like..more the books than the movie...*clears throat* I do suggest reading them, they only took me like 3-5 days and you might like Peeta less. There is a line from the books left out of the movie and Haymitch says it to Katniss: you could live a thousand lifetimes and not deserve Peeta.

The fact is Katniss doesn't/didn't even like Peeta so that's not fair but that is a major point, he loves her but she has to deal with her shit before she can even find peace, let alone love for anyone *coughhaymitchcough* but the ending is left kind of open...ish but...eh...eh...ehhhhhhhhhhh. I still don't see Katniss and Peeta being together, friends yes, lovers....fuck no.

The wind blew by, giving the teal archer some quiet relief as he stayed where he was. In order to appear as harmless as intended, Devon knew a swift but casual approach was necessary and to his delight, he was well received by the mage. The mage in question showed off his supplies and declined the offer which was fine with Devon. His name was soon given but before Devon could offer the same pleasantry, the man named Telaris continued to speak in regards to his place of origin as well as his reason for stalking the shadows of the night. The notion was an obvious one but that was alright with the herbalist. It may prove worrisome if someone among the group didn’t figure out why they were all gathered and slow moving as if carefully canvassing the vicinity for clues. If you had allies, they needed to have their minds sharpened, not just their blade.

“Hmmm, you’re correct, I was aiming to procure a possible alliance had you been friendly and useful to the task at hand and I am pleased to understand that we are both of use to one another.” Devon replied first and foremost. “My name is Devon Relven and I am from the nearby town of Drupali though I have traveled to several places in order to maintain a broadening collection of knowledge. If one’s mind stays still then they may as well be a lifeless corpse.” Devon shrugged and took another look around their area. He knew it well and while the mage called Telaris said he was from the area, which he knew of and had been to a few times, Devon felt much more qualified to take the lead should their alliance hold strong.

The last thing he needed to worry about was someone he traveled with. Devon needed to dissect the man a bit further before most of his worries could be put to rest. Devon knew people were not to be read like a book and those who claimed to be were surely bluffing. And those who claimed to read people like a book were even more foolhardy and questionable. For now though, the night warranted some benefit of the doubt even if it could prove unwise. Camp would need to be set up soon as traveling with a troubled mind and body would prove to be costly and as a herbalist, he knew his mind needed to be share, ready to heal or attack at a moment’s notice. “If you haven’t yet considered stopping to rest for a few hours, I do have a few suggestions.” Devon spoke up.

Considering that it was just himself and the mage, he didn’t feel worried about ruffling Telaris’ feathers. Should more be added to the group then more conversation might be needed for the group to come to a consensus. But since it was the two men, he felt less uneasy about speaking up and trying to offer his advice on the matter as it was an important one. And should Telaris have another idea, it was easy for them to have a decent back and forth about the merits of each notion. This was one of the many strengths which played to traveling in a small group or even as a duo or trio. Devon didn’t mind larger parties but as usual, it depended on the situation and what everyone needed and desired. The man knew of a few hidden gems amongst the wild green maze of trees and roots and hoped they could rest soon so they may talk further about the poor princess with her dangerous ailment.

Your characters are terrible people. </3 But they are redeeming themselves slowly but surely well...two out of three...guess who I can't count?

XD I love Haymitch...*pushes him toward angsty Katniss* CF is a long ass movie, kudos for going through the whole thing but I do love the training session in it, gotta love dat tech. And thanks, I do value the company.

Masami has the advantage of history though unlike Tenlin, Mako isn't married or seeing someone else. Infidelity is a bit issue but they are working on it at least.

I dunno if we needed the presence of another girl but the threat of one might be enough. I just don't want Borra to happen because lo and behold Korra's jealous bone is showing again and she has to have what she can't have. If Borra is going to happen, it has to happen honestly and organically probably so Bolin isn't doubting Korra's legit feelings. There's no reason why he shouldn't make new friends, some being female and possible love interests but I think he has been burned to want to take things slow should he pursue an interest, he would start off as a friends with flirting. Ya know.

Katara would surely be needed around the home, it just makes me wonder where Borra and Masami will be when we do need to skip.

And they don't need to accept Lin right off the back because I mean they did lose their mom, of course they need to process it but I don't think they'd be bitter about it forever and Lin can of course would help them keep Pema in their memory. Hell, there might be some memorial on the island for Pema that she could build cause she is an earth bender. -shrugs- We may need a skip when the fall happens because I don't think much would happen for a while there...Lin can only be around so much without there being much to say.

Yeah raising a good one could be cute gah...the idea of dealing with 9 months of preggers...-shudders- Kids change dynamics too...romance can usually go out the window with ships if say they have a tiny brat. Rue and Jinora are awesome but that takes time man...
