Yeah...those years were hard on us. But I think when you get older you learn to be really grateful and see your parents as people rather than your parents. That they were young and had their own lives and decided to include you in and it's just awesome to finally not see your parents as just that label. ^^

Awww that does seem a bit bratty if she just IM'ed you to ask about a post. Did she at least pretend to ask how are you and if things are okay? O_o Not that I pretend when I ask lol

Gale might have vomited on Sindy if they were alone. I think he was pretty close to snapping though. And yeah Haymitch and Katniss are happy, at least until they go back inside. But hey, Peeta meets his future wifey at the Ball so there's that? :3

Yeah...me and her have kind of been iffy around each other lately for some reason. She can't take stuff to the kitchen so she leaves it halfway but of course I have to somehow read her mind and take it there when those glasses and plates could be someone else's. Idk. I hate yelling across the house, it's so annoying and no one can hear anyone. I'm glad my mom isn't the only crazy one... What's even worse is walking away and then she decides THAT'S when she wants to talk to me. Like...I'm walking away? Don't suddenly remember something! Or at least tell me to wait...seesh. It was annoying as fuck but I think we end up butting heads when I'm about to start school or move out for a while cause we're both reliant on each other. We used to be much worse in the era of teenage years but we've gotten much better. I figure the pain she has might be making her more pissy than usual. >__>'

I don't ask for posts either. I figure if people wanna post, they'll post. If they're busy I wanna know, that's that. Well a skype RP is different because hey it's IMing and people love that instant shit. I can never hold a skype or IM RP these days but if you are online (you in general, I mean, not you you) and can/can't post, it is nice to talk to someone about it. Then again most people are busy when they're online with skype or something and I make it clear that they can reach out to me since I'm the less busy one. Glad you replied to them though, maybe just say you're not neglecting them but don't like being nudged? ^^;

We're generally on the same page. ^^

When the original Guild died, this one had to be put in place...well it's not that simple...the original Guild died yes, but then no one knew about anything for a month or two and then a temp board was made and then this was made and everyone's work was lost. And hell, people lost friends because the old site died so suddenly and no one was prepared to handle it.

It still hurts to think about it... >__>

Just something stupid...my mom yelled at me from the other room to deal with dinner, I yelled back, she couldn't hear me (duh) so I got up and tried talking to her and pointed out how rude it was to be yelled at and expected to hold a conversation with me in another room. We exchanged some swear words (not something we do!) and then I headed off because my brother was handling dinner. And urgh it's settled now but it just annoyed me how she thought I was being rude, when she was but hey...what's done is done. I know she can't come to me and talk with her foot but I don't like being barked at either.

Eh clingy people. Thankfully all mine are understanding folks. Or at least we talk about when posts should pop up but damn not even a long wait and they want on? Well you are awesome, so I understand that but when people ask for a post, it kills my interest. It's one thing (like us) to be invested and active in OOC and stuff but it's another to sort of bug someone if it hasn't been THAT long. Hell, I only bug people if it's been a week cause hey, muses want different things and if the OOC is active, interest would be there...but if their post wasn't awesome you should just reply to me cause...ya know.

And my post was short but hey, interactions~

Also I have no idea what I rambling about about RP posts, I'm hungry and about to go make me a plate of food. XD

She knew what Haymitch had meant, she had just figured she could take some initiative but it hadn't really made much sense she guessed. Katniss gave a quiet shrug and watched Haymitch. He took her hand and led her off toward the small entrance which led further into the garden which to her almost resembled a small maze of green and pink and yellow and red and blue. They knew they'd have tot go back in soon and try to rub elbows with the others. Katniss knew that painful task of pretending to be happy where she was, couldn't be avoided but right now she hoped it could be prolonged a bit longer.

"I think they can wait." Katniss mentioned as she tore her eyes from the scenery and settled her attention back on Haymitch. he moved his hand to her waist and she placed her other hand around him gently. For now she felt like they were entitled to some time alone. The Capitol had stolen enough from her and him. She didn't think it was selfish or wrong for them ot put off going back inside a bit longer. It wasn't like she felt as though they were missing something or doing anything wrong. Katniss wanted to enjoy the night with Haymitch which wouldn't be easy if they kept trying to be perfect for everyone else.

Her dancing partner mentioned she had gotten a bit better from the night before but she didn't think that was saying very much. Katniss smiled at him, "Thanks." She just said and shook her head a little. She could hear the music still but it was slightly more faint now but that didn't matter much. They didn't need music the night before and things had gone pretty good then. Katniss felt safer now, even though she wasn't fond of her attire or the situation at hand, she knew she was safe with Haymitch, who looked gorgeous. Feeling safe wasn't something she normally felt, not back home, not even with Prim because she had always thought that she had to protect her from trouble or outside sources.

It was hard to get used but with Haymitch, it at least felt natural and assuring.

"You're probably the only person I'd want to dance with." She commented, picturing some other guy asking her to dance. That didn't interest her, even if she was supposed to be inviting and nice to people tonight.

The pair were strange and it seemed the others around them weren't much better as they all laughed at Sindy's comment about how their home was. It made Gale's stomach twist in anger. District 12 wasn't perfect and though it may be wasting away, he saw it as strong and far better than the Capitol. The people back home were honest and hard-working and knew the value of someone's worth went far beyond that of outward appearances. Gale had to contain his anger and thankfully the next comment was enough to distract the man from making a snippy comment. Now he could see why Johanna could lose her cool and he hoped wherever Katniss was, she wasn't dealing with the same bullshit they were.

"Oh yes..." He tried to add to the conversation. "It's uh-" He was cut off when the man then moved his sights towards Prim and it made Gale feel even more uncomfortable. Gale bit the inside of his mouth and looked from the man to his date, trying not to read too much into it. He wasn't really threatened or jealous but he was surely concerned as well as troubled. "Yes, Prim is pretty special and we're glad others see that. She's a fighter, everyone back home is." He couldn't help but add.

"Of course dear boy." Daviod grinned. "I am sure she'll do well in the Games. I bet someone of your size must be very nimble and flexible."

Okay Gale had heard enough now, the creep-o-meter was reaching its limit by now.

"If you'll excuse us, we should get going, so many...wonderful people to meet and chat with..." Gale tried to say without his mask falling. He really didn't like the vibe he was getting and he could tell Prim was getting just as uncomfortable as he was.

"Oh, why don't you and I go off and get better acquainted, Gale! Daviod, you and Prim should go too-"

"No no uh no thank you Sindy." Gale coughed, not at all interested in either of those prospects. He wasn't sure what would happen but he didn't want either him or Prim to find out. Whatever Haymitch had been trying to warn them about, Gale was pretty sure this qualified as one of those weird instances. "Good night." He flashed a wave and headed off with Prim, trying not to flee too quickly. "That was...really...weird." Gale whispered to Prim. He would have liked to give him some kind comfort to Prim but that may have to wait. He leaned down and let his hand trail down her arm before he laced their hands together, fingers entwining. That would have to do for now. "Maybe the next group won't be so creepy." He hoped though his optimism and happiness were quickly fading and he'd prefer the moment with him and Prim at the table.

As opposed to that interaction that just had. It was good that they were being well received but he wasn't getting the best vibes from anyone. He wondered where the others were. He didn't like the way Daviod was eyeing Prim and he hoped that there were better people around but he had his doubts.

I would have been done sooner with my post but there was some drama with me and my mom and then I had to deal with dinner that didn't work out so we headed out to grab something to eat and blah blah blah but I'm gonna finish it now! ^^;
