He knew their time was coming to an end tonight, on one hand he was happy but on the others, more heavier hand, he was sad. Prim had been a fantastic date he had hoped their first real outing together had been less weird without so many eyes on them but he was still glad for the time. They both had fun and to his knowledge, the plan was only getting stronger thanks to people like Johanna and Peeta. Prim kissed him once more, something he was never going to get tired of. "No one ever will." He assured the petite woman. He closed his eyes and rested his forehead against hers the way he had done back up in the suite against the wall. Gale really wished he could find a way to bottle up the moments of calm and happiness and save them for when he needed them the most.

All he could do now was try and remember every detail, thought, feeling, sound, taste...everything.

If he was struggling in the arena, he knew he'd be able to remember the times with Prim and that would be enough to push him further, to keep going until they were as far away from the horrors of the Capitol as possible. Her hands in his hair, for instance, were gentle and teasing but he would surely find the affection life saving in a few days. "I know." He said softly and glanced off to check again if anyone was looking. No one was. He flashed the girl a toothless smile before he got up and grabbed his coat and slipped it over her shoulders. Then holding onto the sleeves, he used them to smoothly pull Prim to her feet. In the same movement, his lips kissed the top of her nose softly before he offered his arm to her. Though spring was nearly upon them, the air was still able to take a plunge after sunset.

Part of him even wished he had been able to see a sunset at the Capitol. Even though he hated the place, he knew it had it's own haunting charm and thought the sunset would bring him back home. Unfortunately they were often training when it happened or away from a window to the outside world. He shook the thought away and walked with Prim back inside. There were still a lot of people dancing and drinking but he could only see a handful of Tributes around. Gale kept walking until they got to the elevator. He figured the short trip across the building didn't warrant an escort so they were on their own. "I guess the others went up." He hadn't seen Effie but he thought he saw Peeta with a pink haired girl chatting. He didn't think much of it. How could he think about Peeta with Prim on his arm? "Thank you for being a lovely date." He said to Prim as they waited for the elevator, giving her a mock bow of his head. "It was an honor." Gale joked, though in all honesty, he was really happy to be with her.

He didn't feel this happy around anyone else but her.

And he couldn't help but remind her of that fact as he kissed her cheek, just in case anyone was around. A kiss on the cheek would be seen as harmless, surely.
Bump.
I might be up for a Harry Potter skype roleplay, I'll PM you shortly.
He wanted his family close by but he wanted his space and independence with someone he cared about.

Of course any details were bound to change in time.

For now he also wanted to enjoy the moment. They wouldn't have too many instances where they would be alone and dressed up. He thought she looked good no matter what she had on and he was also glad that she seemed approving of his own suit. They were indeed, a pair of good looking people in an astonishing place where they appeared to fit in and yet they really did. Gale knew he and Prim did better, much better, when they were far away, cooking over a fire or hunting game. Those days may be behind them but he still had to hold onto the belief that they were also ahead of them and that made the night less bitter and more sweet.

He chuckled softly when Primrose added that he looked really good. He grinned against her lips, pleased with her approval. "Good." He muttered softly and kissed her again before he tightening his hold around her but made sure not to hurt her. It felt like they had been in the Capitol for ages even though it had been a couple of days. A lot had happened since their arrival. Prim and Gale made friends, trained, found their own strengths and weakness and even made some promising allies in hopes of escaping. It all depended on their actions and he was happy to rely on Prim, happy that she didn't see herself as a burden or wallflower. No, she was a wonderful woman who could stand on her own and fight like anyone else.

"I don't think we're gonna get a lot of time to ourselves." He said which meant they had to take advantage of what time they had now. He was sure in the Games, things would be unpredictable, to say the least. So Gale kissed her again, letting it last a bit longer, his hands rubbing her sides softly to make sure she wasn't cold or anything. And he also just wanted to stay close to her. If they were ever separated in the Games, he was sure he wouldn't be able to sleep until he found her. That thought would only drive him crazy so he told himself to just enjoy his time with Prim right now and that the future wasn't something that deserved his attention, not with the stunning blond beside him. He wasn't sure what to say but the silence itself felt natural so he moved one of his hand to trace a small spiral against her bare shoulder blade, enjoying the softness of her skin. "I want to enjoy every second we have." He hoped that didn't sound too sappy but it probably did...which he was okay with, surprisingly.
( Moving to skype for Haymitch x Katniss. )

It was true, he had helped Prim before but he never felt comfortable in the kitchen or useful. Sure he could kill and skin animals but he figured he could leave the work to Prim who knew how to turn basic things into wonderful thoughtful dishes. That always amazed him but if she thought he was a help then he'd try. When the topic did turn, Gale hoped that Prim would be able to follow his train of thought. He knew he wanted a future with her. The others came along without saying but to him, something ideal would be a home without Katniss and their mother and his family. It wasn't easy to think of something so perfect when they were in the Capitol but they had good cause for hope and he just wished he could pass the same sentiments to Katniss and Haymitch.

When Prim took hold of his hand and expressed similar ideals, he looked up, rather relieved. He knew his words could be taken one of two ways and much to his delight, she had reciprocated them. "Yeah." He didn't want to put a timeline for when things would happen but he knew that if it was in the future, it would make things easier to deal with. They had something to look forward to when it was all over. Seven days would be very difficult. Even Katniss had struggled to make it to the end and they had their work cut out for them with double to enemies and dangers.

Still, Gale knew they'd all make it out.

Prim moved the plate away and in turn moved closer to him which was perfectly fine with him. Gale gave her hand a light squeeze back, finding reassurance in her warmth. It made him remember that their reality wasn't as bad as it seemed. "Good. Maybe we can do a bit better than a cave somewhere." He joked a little and kissed her back. He didn't think it mattered. At this point, many people weren't around or in the right mind to pay them any attention. He pulled back and let go of her hand so he could wrap it around her waist, keeping her close. "You look really pretty tonight, Prim." He said to her.
Someone's gotta gave Katniss' boyfriend a stern lecture. XP

*Gales wags disapproving finger* And I'm halfway done with my post so yeah~
Some chats should help...or not...hopefully help through but I don't think Gale is gonna back down like he did back in 12, especially if he thinks something is getting serious between him and Katniss.

And cool, that would be a good help~
I think doing a couple posts in the morning would be beneficial for everyone, probably everyone getting ready, eating breakfast and beginning training. I'm not sure how cheery Katniss would be, I don't wanna do it over the top but she would surely be in a good mood cause girl got some last night. I do think everyone would enjoy more interactions with each other, I think Katniss and Prim should probably have another chat soon, and I figure Gale might wanna try asking Haymitch about him and Katniss...he's probably the one to sooner ask than maybe Prim.

And that would be helpful...I'm sure we could ask Google. XD
I think we agreed to like 10 days of training rather than like 14? I do think 'tonight' is Friday though, that does sound right. *nods* For the skip at present after tonight's stuff...what did we want to cover in the morning and with training? I figured we didn't need to do any more details with training since the biggest things that will probably bring new information would be the events during the dinners with Peeta and all other conversations and interactions with our main roles. I figure the others in the alliance would still be tight lipped about any plan and be pretty dead set on training for the Games as anyone else would. I do think we might want to just sum up what happens with the gamemasters and co, and skip to the reveal of the scores, as they did with the movie. That's fine with me, I do figure after that they won't do anymore training? We'll need to get our order of events in line then to make sure we know where we are and then I can edit the front page to keep things where we can find it...>__>'
He asks if she's cold? :/ He could have given her his scarf at least~
