It was a cheesy display but Kastniss knew it could still give Snow some trouble and if that was the case, she had no complaints partaking.

Neither did Gale.

And just as it concluded, Gale was also happy to have Prim's hand remained clasped with his own as they headed for the elevator. Most of the other districts had gotten out ahead of them so thankfully the crowd had died down. He was mentally drained but the small kiss upon his cheek reminded him that sleep could come later, and that for now, they had a little get-together to have up on the roof. As they were all alone though, Effie was quick to get her criticisms out. Gale knew she had been keeping herself under control but he hadn't thought to make a fuss now, words couldn't be changed or taken back. He saw no point in getting upset now and before he could open his mouth to tell her such, Haymitch had already spoken up for both of them, much to Gale's surprise.

But then another squabble broke out between Peeta and Haymitch and Gale was about to step in but Effie managed to give them some space, literally. They got to their suite and parted ways. Gale kept hold of Prim's hand up until she went off to grab them a bottle to drink on the roof. He could use a stronger drink but he knew it wasn't wise before the Games. He gave Prim a smile and stepped out. He would like to change first but he knew the night could only go on for so long and that would just waste what precious time they had together. It was very likely they could be separated, perhaps even for a few days. Gale wanted to make sure their heads were in the right place so their plan could work, but more importantly, so that they could survive. "I think the sun set not too long ago..." He leaned over to peer outside of the window that made up the walls around their luxurious accommodations.

Katniss was also eager to get out of her dress, though she had no idea what sort of magic Cinna had done that had allowed her to shed her poofy red one but whatever it was, it was pretty cool. For now though, she was more willing to go along with the black outfit she now had on, even if it was a bit overly dramatic for her tastes. Clearly her fashion sense was pretty much nonexistent. As they got into the elevator, she kept glancing at Haymitch, not noticing the bomb known as Effie, was about to explode. When their escort began to then nitpick at the boys, Katniss couldn't help but roll her eyes. Haymitch's actions weren't really out of the ordinary for him, so she wasn't sure what the big deal was. And then she started in on Gale and that seemed to be the breaking point for the ex-mentor to bite back. For once, Katniss wasn't that eager to jump in with them and have an argument.

Personally, she wanted to just move on and not hurt anyone's feelings right before walking into Hell in the morning. She could tell Gale was antsy to say something though. Thankfully the elevator doors opened and they headed out. Effie had to break up a small but tense moment between Haymitch and Peeta, before both of them headed off, making Katniss wonder what was wrong with Peeta. Her heart went out to him but before she could go follow the two and figure out what was really going on, Prim caught her attention with a bottle of bubbly cider. "Oh." She had totally forgotten about the idea of heading to the roof on their last night in the Capitol. She gave a nod and glanced down and then looked to Haymitch and Gale, both seemed like they'd be warm enough in the wind but she figured some air would do them all some good either way. "Right, come on." She laughed a little, mostly at her forgetfulness.

Helping get some snacks, Gale followed Katniss, Haymitch and Prim up. Katniss led them around to the emergency stairwell and they climbed up two more flights of stairs before the girl pushed the heavy door open and revealed the skyline which was mostly purple and blue, with only hints of pink thrown in like chiffon ribbons. "What a view. I'm glad we made it in time to see the last bit of the sunset." Gale commented as he moved a brick with his foot, wedging it between the door so they could leave without worrying about it locking somehow. Glasses weren't really needed, they could just pass the bottle around and chat at their leisure. In Gale's mind, this was a pretty nice idea, one that he would surely reflect upon the the next few days. "I'd suggest a toast but I don't think we really need one." When they all made it out, Gale would be sure to give a mighty speech though, hopefully with Peeta and Effie by their side, no longer mad or anything like that.

"Please, I've suffered enough tonight." Katniss teased Gale and helped open the bottle with Prim. She took a drink and handed it to her sister before walking over to the rail. On the roof, there were many plants and even some benches with grass. It had changed only slighty between the time she and Peeta had gone up to talk about why they wanted to win or at least hold out as long as possible. Back then, which seemed like an eternity ago, Katniss couldn't understand Peeta's reasoning when she had Prim to think about. But now she could and yet things had also changed for herself and those around her. "I wonder if they'll be stingy with weapons tomorrow, given there's twice as many of us and there are others who are decent with a bow." She commented, though she didn't really want to talk strategy. She didn't consider, that Finnick or the other three would snag the weapon for her though.

Gale sensed Katniss's anxiety and took the bottle from Prim when she was done. For a moment, he wondered if he could tell Katniss now, if this would be a good time to tell her about the plan. She had every right to know. He took a chug and glanced down into the green bottle and licked his lips. "They want a good show right? No use trying to get into their heads at this point." He pointed out.

Nodding, Katniss leaned out and looked at the buildings and people down below, pitying them all. "You guys were really great tonight." She said, changing the topic. "Very cute, I bet District 12 is going to be well known for its cultivating love interests, rather than its coal." She laughed softly and turned around to face Prim and Gale.

"At least Prim and I will look a hell of a lot more convincing than you and Peeta."

"If they thought I was really in love with him, they're even stupider than I thought." Katniss shot back with a smirk.

Gale glanced to Haymitch for a moment, before handing him the bottle, though he knew it wasn't the sort of drink he was likely craving. "Well...I have faith in us. I couldn't say that when we were pushed onto the train but now, after nearly two weeks, I think we've all got a real shot." He said, trying to pick his words carefully.
Really craving either of these...*whines*
I should try that.

And nah, haven't tried Hulu yet, I hear it has ads even if you pay for it but it seems to have a lot more recent stuff unlike Netflix. >__>
Because I know @Krauxis and @McHaggis from the old site, I will need to see a sample from you, @Shadowcatcher as a heads up. I know impressions outside of IC are different from people but I want to be safe so we're on the same page as far as posting style and whatnot.

So if you wanna snag the male knight, @Shadowcatcher, I could snag the female knight if @Krauxis is fine with the prince?
Me too, a night of emotions and then it begins...

Thank god for Netflix, hopefully I can find some online sites to help fill in the blanks.
I do. I get to make two posts tonight. *wiggles excitedly*

I will miss having good cable, good bye GoT and OB. *sobs*

Ahem, but it's good things are looking well for us, as well as our RP. *evil laughter*
Tone:

This will be a heavy duty slice of life adventure. This means to me, that there will be a huge focus on travel and doing side jobs for money and board. If you get bored by quest stories that are a slow burn, this won't be your kind of thing. This will also have romance if it develops down the line. This will also have some fun/cute moments but not without some serious issues we will need to develop. There will be danger and the stakes will be raised fairly high. I need you to understand this fantasy RP should be balanced in every aspect. There may be mild action scenes but for the most part, I expect a lot of development with detail, world building and discovery.

The Big Picture:

Our heroes have been traveling for a month together. They have seen humble villages that farm and bustling towns filled with polished stone and silver. They have helped an elderly couple mend their home after bandits have attacked, and the heroes have also saved two twins who wound up being the children of a powerful wizard who then bestowed upon the heroes, great items of wonder. The heroes have also endured days without food and nights without shelter from the rain. Throughout their triumphs and suffering, they have stayed together in order to do one thing, and that is to track down the Stone of Selection. In their world, Kings and Queens do not come from blood or birthright or decree, but are picked by a stone that has been with the world's history since creation.

The Stone of Selection is moved from shrine to shrine to ensure it travels the globe constantly, as it needs to feed off the aura of the people and animals living everywhere. The stone is found every fifteen years and new roles are given as it dictates who may be the best to rule the various kingdoms across the land. The heroes have been tasked with tracking down the Stone of Selection as the fifteenth year of ruling had just begun, giving them just under a year to find it and track down its new candidates for councils and throne rooms. The group is brought together from each of the kingdoms in order to bring knowledge and consideration as they traverse the world, following whispers and helping those in need. The stone is difficult to track as it cannot have a pattern or pre-set journey, as if it falls in the wrong hands, it could bring upon chaos, as opposed to righteous order.

These tired travelers are not without their own faults however, as when the sun fades and the moon shows its face, the four change from their normal selves, into different folks with their own goals and needs. This curse has been fallen select people across the world and its these people who are always tasked with the tracking down the stone to begin with, as their bodies and minds are working harder, not wasting a single minute of daylight nor nightlight. By now, our heroes are well aware of their companions' change but as the fifteenth year has begun, the world's cycle between day and night have now begun to behave erratically. A day could last for a mere hour while night could last weeks. Our heroes must hurry to find the stone while managing their own dual identities, hoping their quest can be finished in time.

Our Cast:

The Princess played by Genkai

- By day, she is a dutiful princess who carries herself and her responsibilities with pride. But by night she turns into a skilled assassin who makes money by taking on any job that falls into her lap. The princess isn't fond of her other identity but as it's becoming harder to manage, given the jittery day/night cycle, she's beginning to think it could help them make more money to fund their travels.

The Prince played by Dylan

- No relation to the princess, as he is from a different kingdom. By day, he is a friendly sort who is happy to help most people and see the world around him. Yet by night, he is a he is a wizard. Being that magic is uncommon and often met with fear or confusion, wizards and witches usually prowl around at night, this knight happy to let his magic out without judgement.

The Knight played by Genkai

- This knight is male, and comes from yet another different kingdom than the prince or princess. He is able to give wise consideration to the others in the group by day, but during the moon's view, he's a shapeshifter. He is able to turn into any animal, be it fable or real. His shapeshifting ability can get him into trouble but it can also lend itself well to scouting out landscapes and looking after the others come nightfall.

The Knight played by Dylan

- This knight is female and like the others, is from her own kingdom elsewhere. She is more skilled with hunting and gathering, while the other knight is knee to make plans and give history lessons. Yet by night, she like the other knight, is a shapeshifter.

Final Details:

Magic will only be used by the prince, as the princess is a killer in knives only.

I want us to make small sized character sheets with anime appearances for both day and night. I foresee the ages of our heroes to be in their mid to last twenties, possibly early thirties if you wish.

Should adult content ever happen, it goes to skype or PMs briefly.

Lastly, we will play minor NPCs so also be able to do so, this is an equal story.

So that's our pile of info in case you need it though I think from here on out we'll be able to talk back and forth about what we want and what we're expecting. I will put up my own CS in the other tab and if you wanna make your own sheet and do the same, you're free to do so, no worry either way. I will probably keep mine basic and add on anything as we write, maybe I'll keep track of inventory since that would make things more real for the traveling aspect. If you do have any questions or suggestions, let me know! As mentioned, our day and night system will be very random so that gives us the leeway when we want to focus on the different persona of each character.
Okay that sounds good to me. I'll try to get you something tonight.
Yeah, it really sucks but I'm so tired of boxes and shit. I'm ready to go. Sorta. >___> I'm just proud that I'm not stuck packing until the last minute but of course that means I'm free to help. ^^;

Oh that's great. Finally some good weather! I'm glad you got to go out and about and have some fun. Good weather can really feel rejuvenating. Aside from the whole "move" I'm not so bad. I'm glad I get to come online, I've been itching to come on all day.
Bump.
