Mmm that sounds good, along side a good beer or red wine.

I wouldn't mind being called since I could use even the tiny amount of cash they give ya. I'm glad your classes are going well, and that you're not feeling too overwhelmed. I hope you're still enjoying your summer otherwise.
Corny and cheesy, go together so well. :3

Yeah, we've got too many boxes but the place we got was as big as we could go. Still, downsizing is tough. I'm just glad my parents are happy and able to move and enjoy more free time. I have been called for jury duty tomorrow, so I may get picked but even so, I doubt it'll keep me too busy. So that's me, how are things with you? Classes going alright?
In To Boldly Go 11 yrs ago Forum: 1x1 Roleplay
This is a ST: TNG roleplay between @dreamshell and myself.

We have covered the general thought process we both have in regards to how we want to structure the roleplay and break it down into more small episode arches and take time to development the canons, as well as some minor OCs and canons along the way. We still should claim some major characters and figure out what our first mission or direction ought to be. You mentioned having some interest based on one of the proposed intros I shared, in which we had some mystery illness that we'd need to figure out, probably be sending a small away team to investigate. We could also have other dangers, aside from biological/medical.

What are your thoughts?
Oh me be your sidekick? Do I get a wacky catch phrase?

And yeah, we've begun moving out of the hotel, into our house. >__> We should be wrapping things up within the next day or two. We've got internet hooked up, no tv yet but at least I'll have my laptop when we do finally make the last trip over with all of our crap. So yeah, I don't mind the tardy post. ^^;
That's fine, we all have those bouts on feeling 'whatever' ^^ Try not to stress about it, or it'll make thing worse I'm sure.

*hugs*

We're almost done moving, I have to report for jury duty tomorrow morning (had to postpone during my semester) so I may get called back for that, which hey, it's something to get me out of the house but other than that, I still have a sad empty plate. ^^ But at least I've got you~
Awh. I still have faith you. Things are gonna get better. ^^;
Limited freedom, mind you.

Every day I'm being asked what I'm doing today to find a job. I'm tempted to go become a hooker just to get my parents off my back. >_<
Part of her regretted not having sliced that dumb book to shreds.

Next time.

Once Kakashi was done speaking, she gave him a nod and things were underway.

The combat itself wasn't very interesting. It was just basic maneuvering, aiming and dodging with a blade, sometimes with two. As the training continued, other tools were brought out like the shuriken. Their combat was usually close to mid-range and Sakura was trying to figure out the point Kakashi was trying to make. After roughly an hour had elapsed, Kakashi Sensei added another tactic to the training. He would approach her in small bursts. He would retreat and it would force her to figure out where he was hiding and what sort of attack would be coming her way? Close combat, long range or something in the middle? At least the breaks would give her time to catch her breath and settle her thoughts. For the most part though, she was able to remain focused on the task at hand. At first, she had been distracted by trying to figure out Kakashi Sensei and what his intentions were.

But now, she was only thinking about him, the attack and where it would be coming from. As the pair of ninja continued to dance in a pattern, moving all over the grounds, things had shifted toward the water. She wasn't very surprised by his subtle guiding. She had hoped the combat exercise would be over soon and it was. It seemed now, the real progress could begin. Before she could get too excited however, the man told her to preform the signs but not execute them yet. Sakura's lips pouted and her brow dipped. That wasn't the instructions she was hoping for but she quietly huffed and did as he asked. While she continued to run through the many hand signs, which she had already memorized, she wondered what Kakashi was up to behind her. Was he going to attack or something? Sakura wasn't sure but decided to trust him, despite his annoying surprise earlier.

Finally, she was told to use the jutsu.

So she did.

Sakura created a large dragon made up of water, this time it was in better control. She supposed the morning's events had something to do with that. She had been able to sharpen her concentration as well as ensure her chakra flow wasn't hampered by anything. Next, she preformed the jutsu again and again, creating it and then releasing it. For something so draining, her dragons never seemed to diminish in size and while Kakashi was remaining comfortably quiet, Sakura knew he had to be pleased. When the sun rose to its highest point, Kakashi spoke up and mentioned they could stop and eat now. She turned to him, remembering she had brought them both lunch. "Oh um..." She wasn't sure how to bring up her lunches she had made for them. At the moment, she felt a little ridiculous about it but the fact was, she wanted to do something nice. It's not like this would be a repeat of when she tried to give Sasuke one back at the Academy when they had a field trip. "Actually I made us lunch." She told him.

"I thought it would give us more time to train, we wouldn't be walking around the village looking for a place to eat or anything." She mentioned. "But I also wanted to thank you, for taking me seriously. I know sometimes we don't see eye to eye...on maybe the past but...I would like to think you're someone I can come to rely on and I'd like to become that for you." Inner Sakura was about ready to have a murderous fit but Sakura tried to bring her own ramblings to a close so she didn't look like such a loser. "I know I'm strong and I believe you can help me become a really great ninja." She concluded.

'Great, now we have to murder him because you won't shut up already!' Inner Sakura yelled.

Quickly moving to her pack, she took out the bento boxes and handed one to Kakashi. "If you don't like it, we can always go somewhere." She shrugged. Insider, there was rice, some grilled chicken, grilled veggies, some fresh oranges and some chocolate granola.

'Shut. up.' Inner Sakura sighed and fell down.
You're one of the good ones, Krauxis. I remembered the fond days when this RP had pages and pages of awesome shit...and then it was lost. *falls to knees* The pain still hurts, man.

If I do need to restart, it would be the same starting point for sure, same roles if it could be helped, just to even know what fat was had to trim. But I'd rather start something in the summer and use that progress made to keep us going when say people have work or school again. Slow posts isn't an issue but it's the lack of discussion and communication, that kills things around here.
In her mind, Doctor Who should have been canceled years ago but somehow it was still moving along and while it was still a guilty pleasure for Sasha, she was glad others could enjoy it. The BBC clearly knew where their cash cow was and how to keep feeding it so money and licence fees would still be a goldmine for them. Sasha laughed when he then mentioned their top notch food in front of them, which was slowly dwindling down thanks to their addictive seasoning paired with the lush refreshing taste of liquor. "When I went to school, I cooked my food most of the time. Junk food was eaten sparingly. The portions over in America were gigantic! I did not want to turn into one of them who hobbles around battling obesity with bacon breath." She said proudly. "Although I will say, their McDonald's tastes much better than ours." She added.

James then mentioned how he tried not to cook, which was no surprise there. She would have loved to beat some common sense into the boys but they had no TARDIS so it couldn't be helped anymore. Sasha was impressed James dating someone who was into Aerospace. That sounded pretty exciting to her. She wished she could have dated someone who could put things into outer space. It was a bit laughable to hear about him and the girl being total opposites. But it was even more of a surprise as to what led to the breakup. Part of Sasha felt a little proud of James for having learned a few things from her, back in the day. "Well there's no way you could stick with someone who causes so much friction, let alone have errors in her paper. You did the right thing." She chuckled softly with him.

"Me!?" She exclaimed.

Of course she wouldn't mind taking credit for the breakup, even if she just found out about it now. "Some people have to learn grammar and punctuation the hard way, I bet she has at least." She smirked. She was sure back in high school, her nitpicking James' papers helped him be a better writer, as it was where he sometimes struggled. In the same regard, he helped her fumble through math and some sciences. She wished she could have used his help when she had to face even higher levels of maths in college but there, she only had to take two courses and she was done forever. That was the happiest day of her life. "Aww thanks James." She smiled when he then mentioned her long hair. It was a real pain to deal with and some pervs back in America often liked to pull on it and try to get her to come over to them.

Whenever that happened though, she was quick to attack them with her book bag.

A big part of growing up was learning to take care of yourself, your money, your health, your classes and even your safety. While it would have been easier to have someone around to help out, Sasha was glad she went abroad and made friends. It was hard but she was a better person for it. "I do miss my short hair." She sighed and gave some of her side bangs a tug. "You know your hair looks a lot more tame too." She mentioned. "We look like a better pair than when we were younger." She teased him. Of course things were getting a little too close for comfort. Sasha wasn't sure how wise it would be to flirt, even if it seemed to come naturally to them, given their already well established chemistry. She wasn't trying to start anything back up again or absolve herself of guilt.

When she was with James, she had fun and she was happy.

Sasha just didn't want things to get complicated before they found proper footing again. "So uhm...let's get out of here, I could use some fresh air and a party of eight folks looks to be bargin' in here." She gestured to where a big group had just come in, obviously looking to have a good night out. She got up and grabbed her things. When James was ready to go as well, they paid their own tabs and wiggled their way back out the crowded door and down the street. "D'you smell that?" She sniffed the air. "Smells like...Korean food." She nudged him. "Come on, we're following my nose." She grabbed his wrist and tugged him down the street.

After turning the corner, they saw a small park with a few food trucks. There seemed to be some kind of stage getting set up and she wondered if a pop-up concert was in the works. A lot of pop-stores and venues were becoming a tend and Sasha had only been lucky enough to stumble into a pop-up cafe when she was going to school, about two years ago. "We have got to get in on this." She grinned and let go of James and glanced to him. "Whaddya say?" She asked him. A DJ booth was being set up now and so were lights as more people gathered on the grass to check it out. Of course she wasn't sure how this would all go but she didn't mind a little fun, it felt great to be back home again and this felt like a proper welcome back.
