So this is our OOC for our Ash x Misty RP.

I don't think we'll need o use a CS but maybe if we wanted to keep track of the pokemon and maybe the money/items, I'd be open to that. But I'm fine either way really.

Now I'll get started on an introduction. I probably won't want to include locations in the anime, but if you want to, I'm not opposed, I just won't be very well versed in their locations/tone/etc. I'm going to assume Misty and Ash have been to the other regions on their own or with other companions but I'll leave any of that background up to you.

Should they start in Shalor City? I figure maybe they'd catch a boat there? Or if you wanted, we could say they caught a blimp/balloon/plane (not sure which works with pokemon these days) to Cyllage or Dendemille? What do you think?
Urgh, I swear, I'll get the intro up tonight (unless you had something saved) sorry about the delay. I now figure post order shouldn't count until an IC has been kicked off at least. So if you're still game, I am!
Glad to see a post, we have some stragglers but it's on them to post in a timely manner...so I'll probably give them a few more days to post before I ready my own reply. But they've had long enough to post and I'm not going to hound them to post...I'll just have a penalty in the IC or something.
I know, but a post only takes 1-2 hours, then you can go back and binge (and deserve it)!
If some posts don't show up today or tomorrow, I'll probably just post again, just a heads up.

Stop watching Daredevil and post lol
Biting into a peanut butter and banana sandwich right now.
GM Introduction:

Hello all. I do have another group RP but it's agonizingly sluggish right now so I want another pet project. This time however, I will be limiting the size and strictly enforcing it. Below, you will find a few positions which are free for the taking, however this isn't first come, first serve. I will accept multiple applications for each role and will pick between them. If you're the only applicant, then I guess it's your, provided you're still approved with your sheet.

Now while this says it's inspired by F.E Fates Revelation, you don't have to have played it/finished it to join our ranks. The beauty of finding inspiration is that you can take what you want but add your own spin, which I intend to do as our adventure progresses. If you have had some experience with the games, you may have an advantage but I'm not taking every character class and plot twist with me, so don't feel too comfortable or relaxed either. It's my job as GM to plan for events and interactions but it's the players who make things happen. So nothing is really set in stone.

Also, you need to anticipate death, injury and defeat. Not every battle will leave you unscathed. And characters may die, if yours is killed, you are encouraged to rejoin with another character. While I want to keep this a very contained group, I do want us to add new roles and maybe have others sit out. Maybe we have a lot of people in our group but for each quest, only a few are able to go. Dynamics are meant to be challenged and altered. So if you want to submit five characters but focus on one or two from time to time, you're welcome to do so.

General Premise:

Two kingdoms are at war with one another, and have been for roughly seven years though even such a short while ago, not many can recall what actually broke the peace. Both kingdoms are powerful and have plenty of allies. And both kingdoms have folks who want to rebel and fight for the opposing side. Unrest is an everyday feeling and many cities and towns are becoming new battlegrounds for the two kingdoms and their armies. After fighting for so long, the lands are becoming wastelands. Food is becoming scarce and so is the once flourishing population of the land.

Enter a group who knows where the true enemy lies. This group has been recently formed with those from both kingdoms. This group is led by a mysterious set of twins who claim the real enemy is the demon controlling the two rulers of each kingdom. These two twins have seen such destruction before and want to help bring peace to the land before all hope is truly lost. Together, they've convinced only a handful of people to fight for the innocent and to bring down the invisible hands which control the two kingdoms' fate.

We will be starting with our characters already companions. How your character was convinced is up to you. If your character comes with a sibling, retainer, servant, pet, etc, that is fine but you must include another sheet for it as well. I will be the two twins who hail from another world where the two demons have already ruined with their eternal rivalry. Our group will have a sanctuary where we will go to regroup, tend to our wounds, etc. As a note, there will be slice of life and action. There will also be a lot of travel and saving people, so don't go into this thinking it's all action or it's going to be boring. We should have a mix, ideally.

Hoshido will be a lively kingdom full of life and energy. Nohr will be a strict kingdom, will tough defenses. Both kingdoms are full of pride and tricky fighters. More information will follow in the OOC but for the most part, I won't be fleshing that out too much if I can help it. So feel free to improvise if you'd like.

Characters:

Sibling 1 From Hoshido - An energetic, happy soul who hates conflict.

Sibling 2 From Hoshido - A stubborn, passionate soul who isn't afraid to speak up.

Sibling 3 From Nohr - A reserved, intelligent soul who likes to think before speaking.

Sibling 4 From Nohr - A gentle, charming soul who seems capable of accomplishing anything.

The gender and ages are up to you, as well as their talent. Are they good with a sword, a bow, a spell book, shuriken, staff, etc? We won't be doing stats or anything but it will be good to have a balance in terms of their capabilities. Right now I probably won't hand out an application, I'm just seeing if I have some people interested. I won't need all four spots to be filled for us to start but I will want at least two people (so a 1x1x1 of sorts). The main reason I have for outlining the general characters above is to ensure we don't have mismatched people or a heavy hand of the same type of character. I'm tired of the loner types or the sarcastic types personally.

So if you're interested in one or two characters, that's great. Let me know by posting though, I can't read minds, let alone any over the internet! By the way, I am looking for people who can post 1-3 times a week. Since this could be a small roleplay, I want things to move a little quicker than just 1-2 posts a month. So the less people we have to wait on, the better I think things should move.
About me:

I am 25, in between semesters at the moment. I am a full time college student who is going to graduate before the end of 2016. I am seeking part time work so I don't have copious amounts of time to spend online anymore. But fret not because I do try to communicate with partners and to let them know when they ought to get a post. Though to be fair and ensure no one is forgotten or no one feels like they're not my favorite buddy, I reply to posts in the order which I get them. So if someone posted a few days ago and is waiting, I do try to get to them before someone who posted say, this morning. Group RPs will always override this and sometimes making an IC introduction will also trump the order, just so things run smoothly right off the bat. I think my way is fair but it does sometimes lead to delays beyond my control. If you're looking for an active poster, we may not work out.

My major is Creative Writing so I will feel burnt out from time to time. I try to say if I'm feeling that way and hopefully through our OOC chatter, we can mend that issue. And if you're not feeling where we are in the story, please, by all means tell me so we can fix that too. We're both supposed to be having fun right? So communication is important. If you don't want to talk about offline stuff, that's fine but just know I'm good for either. I just know some people just want to write and things can just click with both people working off one another. But then some people really like chatting and plotting more with their partners. So I'm fine either way but I do like to at least make sure we're both on the same page when it comes to the IC itself.

About the roleplay:

I only started playing FE since Awakening came out. I'm not big on lore, as it can feel somewhat overwhelming. If you're someone who is good in that area, that's great, I could use the help. But if you're like me and like to focus on characters instead, that's okay too. I have beaten Birthright and I'm really close to finishing Conquest and Revelation. I also beat Awakening twice and played the DLC in Fates that took you right up to where Awakening took off. I have to say, I got really misty eyed. Oh Chrom, it was so good to see you!

Ahem.

So after playing all three paths, it's hard to say which I prefer. Ultimately, I have to say Revelation is the most fun since you have the best of both worlds (once everyone stops hating you). But I do lean toward Birthright/Hoshido more than Conquest/Hohr. Of course that doesn't mean I will only play with characters from one side, I like most of the characters in fact, but the situation for Conquest is just so annoying for me and I hated how we had little choice when in Awakening, we had 2 choices (yes/no near the end) and though either option had the same result pretty much, it was nice to have the illusion of freedom. Conquest (and well Fates as a whole) gives you no freedom there. Maybe I've been playing too much Dragon Age Origins and I'm spoiled...

But anyway, I don't have a clear path in mind or even a cast for that matter. I'm capable of playing male and female and would love it if my partner could double up as well. I'm open to taking on more than two main roles for this but only if my partner is too. I just think with such a lively and large cast (even if we needed to exclude a certain family for a while) it's a shame to ignore some of them. And yes, I do intend for us to play as the canon characters. We probably don't need the Avatar/our character to be a big role. Or we could give that role to a canon character like Sakura instead of the Avatar. I'm not sure. But my point is, we're focusing on the dynamics and development. As far as action goes, it depends on if our plot calls for a lot of combat, or if we're going to be more sneaky and strategic.

My partner will probably dictate how we approach this. If they're feeling Revelation, great. If they've only played one path, that's fine too but I can't give any real ideas without knowing if I'm going to spoil something or not. I will however list in a hider the characters I feel capable of playing and some possible pairs to focus on. If you take a peek and find inspiration, that would be great. But ultimately, I would prefer to iron out things with one person than just throwing ideas into the wind and hoping something sticks to someone.
