[Universe 1]

She couldn't believe it.

There had been such a switch. From terror to glee to malice. She really didn't get why either. He called the thing Dalek. She was clearly out of some important loop. The Doctor seemed to thrilled about its lack of firepower but she couldn't help but still be concerned about him. She had never seen him so outspoken about an enemy. "Doctor!" She called out, but before she could hurry over to him, Van Statten stopped her. She threw him a glare. "This is not good!" She hissed at him and looked back to the Doctor and the Dalek. The Doctor then bragged about he had destroyed an entire race. She was actually starting to get a little fearful, not for her self exactly, but she just had never seen the Doctor so enthralled before and she was getting idea that something had to put an end to the fight.

Before she could try and speak, the Doctor and Dalek continued. The Doctor was quick to mock it and then the Dalek countered by comparing them to one another. While she didn't know the details, she didn't want to think the Doctor was alone. What did that make her? A passerby? The man then marched over to the machine and turned it on. Jen quickly looked to see the alien reeling in pain. "Doctor!?" She glared slightly. While she couldn't speak on the Dalek's behalf, she didn't think the Doctor would be so cruel. Maybe she didn't know him as well as she thought she did. Jen had no idea what to think. The Doctor was apprehended and Jen attempted to go to him but another guard quickly pulled her back. "Hey, let me go!" She yelled, having a feeling her charms wouldn't work on Van Statten anymore.

Her first instinct was to yell a hearty, 'fuck you' to Van Statten as he winked at her but she held her tongue, thinking she could salvage something to get her and the Doctor out of this mess. When Van Statten walked off, she quickly moved around to the Dalek who had settled down from the jolt of electricity. She looked at it and wasn't sure what to say. She wasn't about to apologize for the Doctor. It wasn't her place. But still, she felt a little sorry for it, even if she didn't know the entire story, it seemed like both sides did a lot of harm. But why should the Doctor hold one Dalek accountable for the lot? It wasn't fair. "Are you in pain?" Jennifer asked, biting her lower lip. It said it was and she couldn't help but reach forward. Placing her palm on the iron body, she felt a hot burning sting and pulled away. 'Ow!" She looked at her palm.

Suddenly the machine sprang to life and began to break the chains holding. Oh crap. Oh shit shit shit. Jen turned and ran out, the other guard after her, yelling at her. The vault closed and locked the now free Dalek inside but it seemed to already have an idea of how to break out. She ran down the hall as someone tried to grab her in order to detain her. "Doctor! Doctor!" She yelled out. Behind her, she heard someone call out that it was suddenly free. She passed an open room and saw the Doctor shirtless, strung up like some animal. Now was not the time to be admiring him without a shirt. She skidded inside and shut the door behind her as cries of pain reached their room. "I did something really bad. I think." Jen grimaced. "I'm really really sorry." She said.

"And what exactly are you doing to him?" She glared at Van Statten. "Let him go now!" She demanded. Jennifer was getting real fed up with how things were handled around here.

[Dimension 2]

Summer first attempted to use the taught speech old English but he shook his head at her. Just. No. That was not necessary. Nor would it get them very far. Frank speech would suit them just fine, he had learned through the hundreds of years of travel and exploration. The Doctor tried to get some information from William but instead, the writer seemed intent to talk about or even to Summer. It was a bit frustrating and he didn't think it would do them any good. But it seemed for the time being, Summer was alright. As the man asked Summer where she was from, the Doctor put a hand on Summer's shoulder and said she was from another country. As he was about to speak again, someone entered and thankfully took the attention off of his companion.

The Doctor and Summer watched with interest as the two men talked back and forth, it becoming heated. The Doctor was sensing something was amiss. Something usually was. Could he never get a trip where nothing eventful happened? Though the one with Summer and her parents had been a good trip and they weren't met with any bad surprises there. The man left and Summer asked William about the play not being preformed but the Doctor had a feeling the play had yet to even be written. That was clear to him, the man had been so uneasy and generous, trying to avoid stating the obvious blunder. "Why would you promise a play that hadn't even be done yet?" He asked. But then as if the coin had been flipped, Shakespeare had then said it could be canceled and may be for the best after all if it was.

How odd.

Something was wrong. He stood up and looked to Summer who had once again gotten the attention of the playwright. He could tell this was becoming a bit too much for the girl. "We really must be going. Thank you for your audience." He said and quickly headed out, hand on Summer's back as they exited. Once out in the hall, he dropped his hand and Summer thanked him. He looked off when they then heard a scream. "Well now we've got a lead." He said, a bit pleased with a new discovery. They ran along and he and Summer reached the source of the exclamation. He bent down and observed the man they had seen leave minutes ago. He looked around, a crowd drawing near. He didn't need his sonic to tell him what had happened. He looked up. "He's died of a natural cause, there's nothing to worry about!" He called to the concerned spectators.

When he stood up however, he whispered to Summer, "Witchcraft." He said and got the dirt off of his suit. A woman hurried forward and said they had a room ready for them. "Thank you." He said and glanced to Summer. Soon Shakespeare comes out to also take a look at the chaos. They walked back into the inn and up the stairs. Shakespeare asks the Doctor about his eyes, noting how old they appear. The Doctor just gave him a smile and replied, "I read a lot." He said simply and put an arm around Summer. "Goodnight." He said. The writer nodded and bid them the same farewell. The Doctor headed to their room, it was quite lacking but he didn't mind so much. And he hoped by now, Summer wouldn't mind either. They'd been in far worse places. "You can take the bed, I don't think I'll be doing much sleep myself..." He said and looked out the window. Something was very 'off' about their position. The shift in Shakespeare's will to write and the death of the man who tried to put an end to it.

He glanced back to Summer, "Shakespeare is quite an interesting fellow..." He noted, thinking back to their interactions with him. He hoped Summer was still enjoying the trip, despite the oddity of it.
See, you loved it as a kid. Everyone has a knack. :3 Everyone also has some form of kryptonite.

A lot of kids these days get away without punishments and rules and good habits. My and my friend were discussing how to actually raise kids to have respect for parents and to actually try food and not be little shits like most of the kids today who end up cursing out their parents or never heard the word no.

I feel old.

If you want me to keep taking math, that means you want me to kill myself. T______T

Sounds like you've got a good plan or an idea anyway so that's good~ And I don't have much to do, save for one or two other posts so I'd rather get yours up now and maybe one other tonight, then I can rest and let the lull of rain put me to sleep.

EDIT - Posted~!
Gosh, you really <3 business. XD I guess that's good though, you found a passion and you're good at it. Sometimes people have a passion but suck at it. That would be awful. But I think to be truly passionate, you should have some skill with it, which may help it grow and such. I'd never force my kids in one direction, however if they picked a route I had reservations about, I'd probably speak up about it. But I don't want kids so I doubt it'll ever be an issue. Some parents can be super overbearing though.

Last time, I thought I did so-so and ended up doing really well. So it's usually the opposite of how I feel I did, is how I really did. I hate being asked how I thought a test went, it's just so a foggy question. School should be settling down, I have one more 'section' left and it's graph theory which is like connecting the dots on an empty plane (w/o actual X-Y lines) so it shouldn't be bad. Then the final and that's it. *cheers* No more math forever! Granted I pass this time but I think I will~

It seems like the internship is helping you stay fresh and interested. I know my friend loved his but he couldn't cope with a job plus school plus an internship so he had to drop the job which was really good. Hopefully you don't overwork yourself. And hopefully the internship can turn into something more, down the line, granted they know you're a student and can understand time management issues.

And I'm working on my post.
Same here, as far as school left goes.

Then summer jobs. Ewwww.

But money~

And I had another date with another friend from middle school. XD But yeah I'm pretty free for the next five or so hours.
I've done it, I have had three RPs (C&C, Hackers and Dazzling, on the old site and they're being abbreviated now) in the same time with the same concept and technology but all with different plots. I've had two crossover (C&C and Hackers) but it was then done so that the Dazzling players soon migrated over to C&C itself due to it being more active and necessary for a plot. I enjoy doing it but it takes a lot of work and dedicated players. But it can be really interesting and enjoyable.
The worst thing would be teaching someone something that you thought was correct but then it ended up being wrong and then you'd both be fucked...

My other friend's dad wants her to get into micro biology but she doesn't really like it but since he's paying she feels like she can't have much of an opinion on the matter. I hope she can figure out what she likes. I know my parents never nudged me toward a certain job even with them paying for everything. It's hard to remember how lucky one's own situation is.

Yeah okay, coolio. I'll get something up tonight. I think. :3

I think I did okay. The pretest I took a few times was much harder than the real one (mostly because the content was more scattered and some of the pretest info wasn't even what we covered) and I managed a 75 in it after four attempts. So the real test was much easier for me and it covered pretty much one or two topics, and not the eight or nine I was expecting. There was only one question that I really struggled with and my teacher was grading right next so me so I felt the pressure. Overall, I think I did good but usually my feelings end up being vastly different from reality. So I'll find out tomorrow I think...>___>

How's work been treating you?

Genkai, ik you said you like canons, but Hunger Games is one that wouldn't be too hard for an original cast. I'm not to into RPing the HG books, more like a seperate HG that isn't mentioned too much in the books. I'm doubting your interest here, but thought I'd check anyway :)

I'm not keen on OCs for THG because people tend to replicate the plot which seems pointless. If you have an idea about something that isn't so 'cookie cutter' in terms of tributes and battling, I'm up for hearing you out.
