Group roleplays are tricky to perfect, even then, they are still quite open to falling apart. :/

I also see a lot of people seeking male writers, which again grates me to no end. Sure, I'll play a guy but not because someone else can't. I guess the quality is lacking but I've noticed you've taken on casual groups lately yeah? Are those any promising?

It's a shame most women feel the need to play submissive roles. God, it's so ingrained in our society and media and books and movies and everything else. I get playing a submissive but someone who is also so passive they may as well not make a post? That would be pretty infuriating. Even I try not to play an outright submissive because it brings nothing to the table. I'd rather just people play as roles and not worry about labels because then it pre-dictates how someone will respond without considering the personalty and scene. I don't think I could find someone to smut with on here besides you, at least it's not something I'm looking for.

It might be easier for me since I've edited and seen these people for the past 2.5 years and we know each other's styles and such. Still, it always flatters me when people give me good feedback or even just advice. It's always a breath of fresh air to know someone fucking read my shit and wants to help edit it. I know other workshops are different probably more critical but there's just something magical about reading and writing for a group. It's akin to roleplaying I'd say because you get to meet and collab with other people, in an ideal setting. As you said, some people can be really unsupportive or selfish and that can really bring a writer down. Though for me in my workshop I don't focus on a grade. Honestly I've never had a teacher apply a letter to a short story or flash fiction until this class, it's tough though but a fun thing to overcome. Even outside of school I was in writing groups, I'd encourage you to find one sometime.

Hmm I probably should. I just thought I was skipping us to Arya's sword class? I thought that's where we left off...hmmm. But yeah, most of the one on one interest checks seems to be geared toward weird smut requests and iffy writers. I dunno, seems kinda lazy. Like, I have a smut site for smut...I feel like the Guild shouldn't stress 18+ as much but it is one on ones...Some people really don't think about their writing. I think about mine all the fucking time and sometimes it's a real drag. But some people just don't care or can't care?

Femdom ain't my think and so I wouldn't try it. Being a switch? Sure okay. But yeah some girls want one thing but can't execute it. :/ It can be a struggle to find a good smut partner and I only got better because I did lots of reading on the topic. Gotta study up like anything else haha.

So a general summary for us before we kick things off: Mary is working for a family as a governess, the son goes missing and Mary suspects foul play and goes to Holmes and Watson. Holmes has better things to do like drink so that leaves John. The kid has been taken by a jilted mistress who decides to sell the child to some bidder who uses child labor or something.

If that's the general gist, I can get an intro up this afternoon. Did we decide on a general paragraph range yet?

Awww you're such a cool writing buddy. I wish you were in my writing workshop. We've got some greadt folks there. Though someone posted the worst story ever. Like it was middle school level writing with tons of errors. I nearly killed myself reading it, it was 16 pages of bad grammar, spelling and missing words. But when you do find that golden egg, you do like to hold onto it. I swear, we should just run 10 roleplays at once and give them a post once a month. Some crazy shit like that.

Though with GoT there isn't much a smutty moment we're in if I recall. >___> I do have other RPs but this one guy I'm with...he doesn't get invested in our stories and it just made me miss writing with you. Cause we could wax for hours on end about our stories and he's so disconnected. It made me feel bad for him. Like you and I click well on all the levels. Those kinds of partners are pretty rare. Plus these days the Guild seems infested with people who want weird smutty roleplays. >____>

Alright, I shall cheer you on with your endeavor to write. And you're writing, I haven't stopped writing but but but personal health and mental and physical health is very important too. Sound sleep makes for a great day of writing. XD

True...I do need to be tempted to keep logging on lol But even one post for any of the RPs a week is probably good enough for me. I know we're both busy, posts can take a while sometimes. Plus we're just starting, it'll take a while to get into a decent pace again.

I don't need posts frequently, you know that. Tomorrow is Friday, which isn't Saturday so you could postpone the post until tomorrow if it's better for you?
