What about your guy and my guy knew each other since elementary school? And as you said, they could all converge at high school in drama? That would work for me.

I was assuming they probably met in elementary school, putting them around 7-8 when they met? I think we could have there be a dramatic club which they met in after school? Or are you thinking they would meet in high school and have been friends for more like 2-3 years instead? I'm already hunting a few possible images for my characters, I think anime would be the medium to go by, that okay?

I wish I could say my adult related stress was gone. But welcome back all the same! XD

I was actually thinking my male would be more sensitive, able to feel the music he plays. He would be a serious student and a bit of a straight shooter but he would still be able to connect with music and reach his emotions through that avenue. Mine would probably be the laid back, cool sort so if you'd like to have your guy more playful, extroverted that would be a good mix, maybe someone who does feel somewhat superior with his tech skills but in turn is happy to lend a hand to those who need it?

For a moment I considered throwing in a sporty type who could be the popular girl but then I figured it would really limit when the friends hang out if one has a game and I'd hate for the gang to revolve around that sort of schedule. If your girl is more soft spoken and sweet, I think mine would be the outgoing tomboy sort? Unless you wanted your girl to take computers and your guy to be the more quiet one? I don't think any of our characters would fall into a popular category but it's safe to say they could be well liked in their niche at school?

Hey there, seems I'm not the only one trying to rise from the ashes! I wouldn't mind giving this a go with you and you're welcome to snag the one who bakes and the one who's good with computers. I'm fine with space and music! I think we could both snag one female and one male each, it might be easier to have that kind of variety in the mix. I think my male might be the one investing in music, likely the piano or violin with my female being interested in space and getting up there. What are your thoughts on the matter? And thank you for the format compliment, I tried to capture the possible roles without getting too ahead of myself. :)

The Premise:

We follow the lives of four Japanese students in their final year of high school. They live in Sendai, in the Aoba-ku Ward. The four friends have been together since elementary school and despite their differences, have withstood the struggles of academia. The year is 2017 and everyone is returning from their break celebrating the new year. The friends are anxious about where each one of them will go following the final few months of high school. Will they branch out or stay close to home? With romantic pursuits bloom in their possible final summer in Sendai? Where will time take these four friends who are on the cusp of a new life called adulthood?

One friend is passionate about baking.

One friend is passionate about space.

The Details in Closing:

I am seeking someone who is capable of doubling as a male and female. I will be doing the same. The above passions are not set in stone but have been picked to showcase a diverse group of people where not everything is logical or creative in terms of academic and hobbies. These passions should not define a character by any means but should be at the heart of their ambitions. I am seeking a writer capable of giving 3-4 paragraphs per character, which is a total of 6-8 paragraphs a post. Romance is expected to happen at some point, sometimes it'll be messy and sometime it'll be easy. I would like to follow these friends throughout their lives. You could say I've gained inspiration from 5 Centimeters per Second, Your Name, The Voices of a Distant Star, Kare Kano, Your Lie in April and Fruits Basket. My partner should love slice of life, detailing scenes that help characters and relationships flex and grow. If you'd like to smehow add an element of fantasy, I am open for discussion but I'd prefer to keep this concept clean.
