I'm gonna avoid softbank if possible. The issue with my current phone is that it's a bit old and I recall it the phone is from five years or earlier, it should work in Japan if unlocked. I would ideally like to go to MVNO but it depends on what's around me. I would like to do the one month contracts just for simplicity's sake since renting an apartment or getting a phone seem to try and lock you into two year plans which I can't comfortably commit to.

I've been eyeing the weather too, where I'm headed it doesn't look too bad, about what I'd find in SF which is only 30 mins away from where I live currently. If I can get my phone unlocked before I go (at a reasonable price) I will but otherwise I'm gonna suck it up and look o MVNO if possible. But again, getting internet in my apartment will be my first priority and then a cell phone. Since I also know getting internet will be a pain in the ass too, I think I'll get a co-worker to come with me when I set up things though. I speak conversational Japanese fine but I'd rather have a Japanese person there since I know it helps the process.

Btw, I am gonna make you a new banner, I've been meaning to get around to it so I may do it tomorrow if I remember XD You had the same idea as me, I'll probably just overlay the sketch and smooth it out some. @71452K

@71452K Hey, it's good you're hospitable. I'm gonna need all the encouragement I can get. I did hear of that app or some kind like that. I don't know about getting a cell phone. I've been doing a lot of reading whether I should bring my dinky old S4 with me but have it unlocked. Or get a cheap phone in Japan and try to get MVNO's monthly plan. Some jobs in Japan require a cell phone. I could take it or leave it if I'm saving 30-60 bucks a month by not having it. But I also know it would be nice to have...

@LostBrotherGrimm Come visit me in Sendai! I need company. I haven't even moved yet and I'm lonely. XD I think that's super cool though. I have always wanted to check out Japan but could never commit to a trip in terms of expenses, so I'm going to live there for a bit and get working exp. But I am sure it'll go well for you!

And yeah this round wouldn't be bad for K to skip. I wanted to get something up tonight but it doesn't look very likely since I'm just now getting on and probably only have an hour or two before I hit the hay. I haven't been sleeping well lately, anxiety and such. Buuuut I will work on a post anyway and maybe it'll finish itself magically before I go to bed. XD

I don't move yet, but before I do, I'll be sure you let you guys know. It's mostly a lot of prep work. I'm trying to see a doctor before hand, get all the meds I need, I've been shopping for new suits, been brushing up on kanji, etc. Busy busy busy. Plus I'm trying to spend as much time with the family before I go. :/

Yeah he hasn't been on in a few days, we can go ahead and start a new round. I'll probably aim to do that tomorrow night at the latest. Been busy with real life stuff myself. :/ But I do keep a planner with post goals like I do other to-do items I have some CS stuff I have been putting off for about a week or two so I'm gonna aim to focus on that today, then I can get to this and my other group. I haven't been this busy RP-wise in ages. ^^;
