Frustrating new trend?

i don't see this as "new" or strictly seen in one on ones.

People tend to flake out or lose interest and the worst part is, they don't have the balls to fix it or at least give someone a proper heads up. I don't think it's a "trend" as much it's just humans being humans. Communication usually fixes these issues but if one person just refuses to talk about why they're no longer interested or why they're ignoring someone after getting someone's hopes up, it's better to move on. Waiting doesn't do much, I'm afraid, it's better to be proactive and reach out to someone who's being a dick rude, than to want them to suddenly look in your direction. Sometimes people get intimated when it comes to starting the story or their interest has waned. There are many reason why people do this but if both parties (in one on ones or in groups with the GM and problem player) can't come together, it's best to shrug and carry on. I'm rambling and reiterating here now.

All in all, it happens more often than it should.

But it's something you just have to get used to. People are finicky creatures and are hard to please. Communication to ensure everyone is on the same page, and happy, is the only solution I have but there's no use forcing something if not everyone is on board. *shrugs* Good luck, though.

I wish you luck. My brother is now in TX for more training so I have time for online stuffs again.

I understand being busy, I've been busy lately myself but hopefully we can get the ball rolling again.

I like Martha, i think she gets a lot of crap for liking Ten and I feel bad for her more than anything else. I never liked Ten and Rose the way I liked Nine and Rose. I can't really "ship" Ten with anyone to be honest. I also think he's a bit overrated as a Doctor, I liked him in the last season he was in since he got a bit darker and less "hyper" as he realized his own mortality. I feel in love with Eleven straight away but the sixth season was hard to get through since I hate River Song. *shudders* Glad to see you still trekking through DW though, it took me a while to get through all three Doctors, I was proud by the end of it and happy to start on Old Who in my spare time. ^^;

As a note from the GM (that's me!) all personal stuff has been resolved so we're close to starting this up, some have been approved, some are pending approval. Get your ass over to the OOC to give a shoutout if you're still active and interested.

Doctor Who: Multi-Dimensional

He kept his cool, which was good. Though appearance wise, my brother isn't someone most guys would think about messing with in the first place but since they were at a bar, I assume some of local hicks may have been drunk. I dunno. Doesn't matter now.

Oh this job won't be forever I know that. I just need experience somewhere. I hate how they want you to have skills from other jobs waiting tables/cleaning up. I mean it's not that hard, anyone can do it. And of course tons of other applicants are in the race as well, so I hope I can get something. I need to start fending for myself and get my mom off my back. I have a job interview Fri and hopefully one or two next week. I get to put on my nice face and suck up. Yay.

*vanishes into smoke* He left Dynasty Warriors, Mortal Kombat, Assassins Creed, Soul Caliber, Mass Effect, Marvel V Capcom, Sykrim, Sonic, Madden, a lot of good games that I'd probably have some fun with. He told me to look after it but that he may get a PS4 sometime so it may just stay in my possession. Muauahahaha. I still need to dig up my PS2...if I find that, you'll never see me again.

Wow. Really? That sounds tough but I'm sure you'll be able to make something of it. Working for yourself is a good thing, my dad has his own business and he likes it. And it's good of you to start sooner rather than later. Small businesses are good though, anything can be needed these days. I wish you luck with paperwork and all that crap. XD I hope it pays off.

And thanks, they're re-airing Nine's arc on tv (even though I have the DVDs + netflix, it doesn't beat just watching it on tv) so I can watch "Rose" and everything else while I finish my post. :3 Because I've missed the Doctors.

I'll check out the two finished character sheets tonight, I've decided since I've done all my errands and nothing is on tv tonight, that the rest of the day is meant to be dedicated to the Guild. :3

So I'll be editing THIS post with the feedback.

FEEDBACK & SHIT:

@SVK: Everything seem okay save for the last paragraph of your character, I'll need some clarification. So you're having him been recruited to Tokyo as a Corrector at the usual age, yes? So if that is the case and if he's been in Tokyo ever since he started, then the characters who are there, should know your character. *nods* I could assume the reason for bringing him from Osaka (and not leaving him there) would be that Osaka is kind of a small pond with little activity and he'd be more useful in Tokyo? Am I safe to assume so?

And for his weapon, since he is a higher rank, he can have a bit more freedom with it, considering if he's used it from year one, I could say his handling of the weapon is pretty good. Even so, you'll need to give me some more specifics as to how much the weapon weighs, how durable is it? What can it cut through? Does it have anything else to it? Like the element of fire or something like that? Considering he's more of a "nerd" than a "jock" how does he stay fit enough to wield a hand held weapon? Why wouldn't he pick a skill like healing or defense if he's sort of humble/ intelligent? Just some things I'm wondering, other than a few questions I'd like answered, he looks good. :3
