Well...looking back and doing some recap math...we're currently in the year 2018/2019/2020 (I forget which was established), depending if they're 12/13/14, since I figure they're probably 13 but it would take more math and I'm lazy. So I'm doing rough estimates here. According to our timeline of events, WW3 should be on the cusp of breaking out, a lot of unrest and such. We then agreed that they'd join the online world in 2029 ish, which would make them around 22-24, again, depending on what year we assume we're on at present. We still need Sasha to move away, probably after high school for college, some abroad program or something, we could reunite them because the war should be over by 2030 or so...and then we could probably do something with a time jump...I'd say the idea of time jumping seems a bit better than pure dark post apoc stuff at this point. Ex: going to the future or even back to the past somehow via the games and whatever unrest may be inside of that virtual world...Even so, we did want to do something with them online together, not knowing right off the bat that they're with their old friend, etc.
Boom. Posted.

So much cuteness. XDXDXD

Just imagine how badass they'll be when it comes time to conquer the world of online gaming.
"What? Really? Wow." She couldn't help but exclaim when James mentioned that his brother might propose to his girlfriend. That sounded so romantic. The idea of marriage, let along graduation seemed so far away. Still, her heart couldn't help but flutter at the idea of someone like Matt settling down with someone. She ended up getting lost in her day dreams until James began to speak again. Small talk was made, mostly in regards to school and plans for when the weather improved, which would be a miracle at this point. "Huh?" She pulled up from her drink when James mentioned taking a trip someplace, it was close to home but still it sounded like an adventure so why not? "Alright, could be fun." She nodded to him. The two threw away their trash and she followed his lead, curious to see what his older brother had suggested for the kids.

The bus ride was a little crowded due to many people getting off work but that was typical no matter where you went, be it over in Hammersmith or someplace else in the city. The traffic and congestion fees were easy to avoid if you walked or had a bike. But for them, a bus would do alright. They had their usual Oyster Cards which had plenty of money on them for impromptu trips around. They were getting older, had cell phones, someday soon they might even find themselves working on a shop part time or some little cafe. They got off the bus as the lights came on around them. They did a lot more walking and her curiosity was building. "James, where are we going?" She asked him, trying to not bounce around too much. Surprises were fun but she wasn't sure what she ought to be expecting.

"You hear about people's dead bodies found in places like this on the telly." She couldn't help but joke.

James pulled out a lantern and just continued to walk along. The ground, due to the construction, was uneven. It was littered with rocks, sticks, bushes, and everything that you'd find in some sort of park or forest. Places like this never stayed quiet for long. Most projects got turned into shops or apartment flats or parking lots. So taking a poke around a wild area which had yet to be sullied was kind of nice. Sasha was careful to watch her step. If she tripped and fell while out with James, her mum and dad would be a bit cross with them going out so late without telling anyone. The blond girl wasn't worried though, she trusted James knew what he was doing. It was obvious that he had been to the area before. As they slowed down and approached a clearing with a rock, she and James climbed up on top of it.

It was a cool little hideaway.

"You think so?" Sasha asked him when he mentioned the school year's speed. She didn't think so but she just shrugged and looked around. she had her legs dangling out in front of her, her hands holding on either side of her body. The air was nice and you could hear little annoying bugs in the background. When James began to speak, it was quite slow and a little confusing. Sasha glanced to him, waiting for him to make a bit more sense. He moved closer to her and tried to make sense of his own words because she was a little lost. He rubbed his neck and carried on like all Brits did. "I um..." She found herself holding her breath as he finally asked if they could go to the dance, like a date. And then whatever came after that. Whatever that was. Dating? Dating was totally new to her, save for writing or reading about it.

Doing it was totally different.

Waaaaay different.

Her face turned bright red, she could have sworn her face could be seen from outer space. "I umm..." Why was she nervous? It wasn't like the idea was super out of nowhere. Sasha looked off for a moment, trying to sort everything out. James was worried about their friendship being ruined, even so he did want to try and date. And not just date anyone, her. 'If he did date someone else, how would I feel about that?' She wondered faintly and licked her lips. "Sure." She pushed the word out of her mouth and glanced to James. Soooo were they dating? Like boyfriend and girlfriend now? "So you get promoted to my boyfriend." She laughed a little nervously. "First one gets a prize." She joked a little and ran a hand through her hair. Her hand was shaking slightly, so she decided, it needed to do something.

She reached over and grabbed his hand with her other one but just as she did, her phone started to ring with a loud trill of sorts. She jumped off the rock quickly, wondering if her dad somehow knew she just grabbed a boy's hand. "I um sorry sorry." She pulled her cell phone out of her purse and answered it. "Hello?" There was a quick comment from her father and she swallowed. "Oh really? But...okay...okay bye. Give me a ring if...okay bye." She hung. Her father just called and said her mother was in labor and he was on his way to the hospital with her. He wanted her to stay with James' family for the night because he didn't think she'd be comfortable waiting for it to be over. He said he'd take her over tomorrow after school. "Guess I'm about to be a big sister. Oh gosh." She smiled.

So much was happening!

"I um...can I stay with your family tonight? I could probably stay home alone but I didn't want to ask my dad with everything going on." She rubbed her neck, not sure what was more freaky, having a boyfriend or having a new brother. Suddenly she felt like jumping in the river and swimming away, growing up was not easy. There weren't cheat codes for it, sadly. "Sorry to bother you with all this." Sasha sighed, falling back into her usual politeness.
I thought it was cute. :3 I'm almost done with my reply actually. *super speed*
Fandoms probably depend when you find them. If you find them when you're younger, they tend to be more near to your heart. If you find them later in life, it gets a different outlook rather than as someone who's just figuring life out. You can always look at something in more than one way. ^^;
You can turn off the "live" part of the tiles. I usually do since I assume it drains battery and I don't need to see honor movies pop up from Netflix at night because I have enough to worry about. I did wish that in the corner of the desktop, you had a START menu, I don't there is one, though I was pretty wiped out last night so I may have overlooked it. Touch is going to take some getting use to since i have a fear that somehow, down the line it'll wear off or something...

Matt Smith is good, though I'd say an acquired taste for some, he can be a bit too "all over the place" and tends to lose the seriousness that Chris and David had, which I enjoyed the most. I think I saw bits of DW with Ten or Eleven (channel surfing briefly and thought 'what the fuck is everyone hyped about?' and then changed after five mins) but I could only enjoy it by going all the way back. Some fandoms are forever and some are just nice to be in, but not too deeply.

No no, that's not really god-modding to me, we tend to puppet things along as needed which is cool with me. If you wanna have your post mention she got a call and maybe hung up or whatever, that's fine with me. I'd only be mad if you made her throw herself in front of a car. XD Then that might be a problem.
Windows is still better than Apple. To me anyway. Since my dad is in network security and has been for like EVER, we've always been a PC/Windows family though he uses an iPhone which is beyond me...I gave up mine years ago and never looked back. Even so, I love XP to no end and I have great security on it so, I probably won't upgrade until they pry my laptop out of my cold dead hands. The fact is, 8 works best as a touch screen and it kind of sucks for the rest of us. Maybe they'll wise up next time...

I hear good things about Linux but my dad refused to pay for my tablet (late xmas gift since what we got initially was a dud in terms of space/speed/battery life) unless it was Windows and so far it's been giving me trouble but in about a month (at most) I'm sure I'll be happy with it. I like the tab or blocks or whatever they're called. I actually hardly use the "desktop" feature. I see why people would want it but the blocks are so fluid, they're not too bad for me.

Yes shut up or you'll turn me off of Community. That's what neared happened to me with Doctor Who. Ages ago, my friend wouldn't shut up about it and I still hardly remember what she even said to me since I was tuning her out but low and behold...a year or two later and I have little regret about jumping into that fandom. ^^;

Oh yes, nothing says fun like water boarding. XD It's a summer pastime!

Yes, your answer was good. You pass the test! *takes down hidden cameras*

Cue Sasha freaking out about being a big sister and now running away because being the only child is the best thing ever. (I can only imagine...)
Picking up her discarded notebook, she dusted it off and gave it a rather crestfallen sigh, as if it was the only one to know her misfortune. She had been so close. So close! So so so close to figuring something out and yet just as she was nearing an answer, it all vanished right in front of her and she was left with a traveler who was perhaps drunk, unable to really find where he was going. Still, she had her family's honor and reputation to uphold so she quickly collected herself to properly represent her family. He gave a bow and she gave one back. "Prince Telio of Eldan?" She repeated. Her world had no such place, none that she was aware of anyway. A tinge of discomfort soared up from her gut and landed in her head. "I've never heard of that place or you..." She said plainly, her lack of formal etiquette showing through once more.

"I'm sorry," She corrected herself. "you're nearing the great city of Hy Byseil." It was uncommon for people to happen upon the area, everyone who came, came with intention and great direction but this so-called prince of some faraway land looked lost and she was beginning to grow suspicious. Despite uncertainty, she didn't sense anything "off" about him. He didn't carry an air of distrust or ill-intent, but even so, Urkwia was careful not to get to close. Anyone could be armed. "Did you happen to see...a blue vortex of some sort?" She inquired, wondering if he had something to do with the anomaly that vanished all too soon. While her parents supported her endeavors with her research and experiments, they told her to not lose sight of other matters.

Still, the woman couldn't help but bring the topic up so suddenly, due to how she and male had encountered one another. Looking back down at her notes, she felt her expression deepen and drop slightly. "I'm doing research on blue stones, sapphires and I was in the of a massive breakthrough when you happened upon me." She decided to explain her soured mood in hopes that she'd get over it sooner. Something happened, that was enough cause to celebrate. It could happen again, somehow. She would figure it out and make it work. "If you'd like, we can go to Hy Byseil together..." She trailed off and remembered that she had still yet to give her own formal introduction. It was a good thing her parents weren't around to see her blunder countless times when it came to being a good host.

"My name is Urkwia, Princess of the realm and beyond. Hy Byseil is our capital on this continent, our sister is By Hyseil...perhaps you've heard of that?" She asked Telio as she packed up her supplies quickly, making several mental notes to organize them when she got back home. For now, she knew she couldn't waste anymore time with labels and such. If she didn't have a guest with her, she would have spent a good fifteen minutes taking stock of everything to make sure that when she left, nothing was missing from her pack. But since the Prince, Telio seemed a bit lost, she decided it would be better to get back to Hy Byseil and get something to eat and drink. Perhaps that would help him gather himself, so to speak.

Her aunt and uncle ruled over By Hyseil, which was on the other land massive. They were both large and bountiful, everything else was scattered on islands around the two lumpy lands. Every month or so, they would all come together for a typical meeting to ensure both were on the same page as far as rules and regulations were concerned. It was all a bit boring but Urkwia was hoping to take over either city when the time came, for now, she liked to tell herself that the time wasn't as close as it probably was. If she had any siblings, they would rule the other continent but that wasn't the case. So the burden fell onto her shoulders alone. She loved Hy Byseil with all of her heart, whereas By Hyseil was only a place she would vacation to.

Either way, she would love whatever place needed her most.

"So you're a Prince?" She looked to Telio, still a bit ambivalent regarding his claim. It wasn't often people pretended to have royal blood or ties. Still, she didn't think he was necessarily lying, she just wasn't sure if she knew what he was talking about and that worried her. There couldn't be another country far away that her family didn't know about. The whole world was mapped out wonderfully, and while she had never been to much of it, she was certain that she hadn't of Eldan. As they traversed through the high field and made their way toward the gate, she gave a wave to one of the guards. She knew all of them by name and many of them knew of her nightly escapades. Thankfully she could bribe them with wine and good cheese, in order for them to not tell her parents.

"Since you're my guest, I'll happily show you around and treat you to a wonderful meal." She smiled to him, putting a hand atop her heart, as was custom with the royal family when they made important statements or vows. Even if the Prince wasn't from around the area, there was no reason why she ought to turn him away. She had just the place in mind, a great pub with great food and drink. It was out of the way but that was one of the reasons she liked it to much. It was close to a bookstore, one of many that captivated her. All the old text, bound in leather and tucked away safe and sound, just waited to be opened up. Those were magical moments for Urkwia and her heart soared at the prospect of new information and ideas. Maybe she'd find something about Eldan or Telio in one of the many bookstores or libraries around the city.

As they passed through stone wall and entered through one of the six gates, she felt her mood turning around.

From distress to excitement.
It was all so quick.

The fumes hung in the air as someone fired at her. She quickly put her gun up to protect herself. She laughed a little, thinking about how silly she must look. Thankfully James sprang from wherever he had been hiding and managed to fend off the onslaught of fire. As he approached her, he took note of his hit. "Oh no!" She cried, putting her hand over her mouth to fake being heart broken. "Be strong, you can't leave me here." She pleaded, a small grin trying not to break her serious-ish expression on her face. As someone else approach them, she glanced around and saw James' older brother approach them. Likely not to help, she guessed.

James told her to go and she scampered off, keeping her ears peeled in case she heard more firing from where she had just left James. She managed to find a duo of the enemy team. She took one of them out, firing into their back but the other one quickly got away and she took after them. "I'm gonna get you!" She laughed as she ran after the survivor. In the end, the two met in a clearing and drew their weapons in a scene that could have come right from an old western. Sasha ended up losing and fell to the ground in a dramatic heap. The other person, a freshmen like her, approached and helped her up. The two girls laughed about it as they headed back to also wait out the round. They played two more times before it was all over.

Sasha had a great time and even struck up a conversation with some members she had yet to really get to know. She was nervous about talking to Alex, though she wasn't sure why she had to decline his offer because she had an offer from James. But Sasha was sure she could find a romantic date, someone who she actually knew better, by the time another dance rolled around. "Alex, can you wait up a sec?" She asked as everyone was wiping themselves off with wet towels and getting out of their protective gear. "I'm sorry...I think I'm going to have to say no to your offer. I'd like my first dance to be one without a lot of pressure..." She tried to explain. "Not that you pressured me or anything but I'd rather go with some friends first and maybe when the next one rolls around, I'll be able to say to whoever asks me." She smiled a little, her nerves building up slightly.

As much as she wanted to grow up and try dating, she felt like such a kid for saying no to a guy who had asked her out. And who knows if she'd get asked out again some other time? Still, the prospect of going to her first dance without dealing with other stuff felt a little better. She was sure that there would be other chances in the future to figure out her feelings for people. Alex understood and tossed her a wing, saying he'd be waiting for the next dance to come around. Sasha was glad he wasn't mad at her. She didn't intend to hurt his feelings or to get him mad at her. She hoped when they next dance did come around, that she'd be more used to high school and all of its possible pitfalls. As she finished cleaning her hands and face, she saw Matt and James talking before James came over to her.

"Hey." She waved and picked up her purse, ready to take off. "I was thinking pizza. There's this posh place near by that we could check out." She said as she waved to one of her friends who was heading off. London was a big city but taking the bus and walking was doable for people like them. Most kids were pretty independent, hell, some even smoked and drank who were their age. Sasha didn't of course. They headed away from the area and grabbed a bus to get over to the little eatery. They had combo meals where you could get a slice of pizza and a drink for a decent price. As she was looking at the menu and trying not to get distracted by the scent of cheese and sauce, she remembered wanting to pay James back for buying her a snack at school.

"This is my treat." She smiled to him as she headed up and gave her order to the woman behind the counter. When James added his, the girl paid and they headed outside to sit down and wait. "That was really fun, I hope we get to do it in the spring, I mean I hear finals are tough so we may all need to let out some more steam." Sasha mentioned to James. Part of her wondered if she should tell him that she turned down Alex. It's not like it really concerned him though. Then again, they were friends and friends didn't disclose things, didn't keep secrets so after they got their food, she spoke up. "I told Alex I wasn't going to go with him...as his date, I mean." She said. "Maybe the next one though..." She gave a shrug. "I just think it might weird to go to a dance with someone you barely know so...it's a good thing we're going together."

"As friends." She corrected herself, since he did before. That probably went without saying though. "Maybe we can see if we can meet anyone else there." She picked up her slice and took a bite. Thank god it wasn't too hot or she'd have thrown it across the street in pain. "Does your brother have a date? He seems like the kind of guy who would." She laughed a little. Alex seemed to be well liked by everyone, which could be a good or bad thing, depending. Ideally, in her innocent mind, she'd want to go with someone she was dating so that things weren't already awkward. She'd make a note to try to make more friends over the next few months since she was getting the hang of academic life. There was a nice guy in the other club, he was a brilliant writer and had great ocean blue eyes.
I just noticed something, your character's description is mine...I thought you were going to write as the third idea that you wrote yourself? I thought it would work well, and then the ones I presented to you, were the one I'd play, depending on your thoughts.
