Fluffing her hair with her hands a little Condor finally gave up trying to make herself look 'normal' and reached into her purse for a set of shades. As she slipped them into place she tapped the concealed button in the frame to test the night vision function and smiled as her vision clouded over, filling with a green mist. It wasn't likely that she'd need the little trick piece on the mission, but she couldn't be too careful.

As she heard Angelo's report through her earbud Condor turned to look over at her partner for the night's entertainment. "So, what's the backstory we're running with? Birthday, funeral, lesbian wedding..? What do people buy flowers for these days? Normal people I mean, I don't think most would get roses just to sneak a shotgun through a shopping mall, although that is a good trick if you ever need to use it."

I suppose it would slow things down having to shave off his moustache before drawing on a new one, but how does Karasuma ever have any fun if she won't even steal his purse?

Hand in a bowl of warm water perhaps?

Will there be a 'morality' score as well, for times when you commit a crime but don't get caught, or if you're in charge of a country simply change the law to make anything you do legal?

Just in case people were wondering, I've added some reference material to the IC to give an idea of how Condor thinks 'normal' people dress when visiting flower shops. :p

I thought the vocal patch would be a useful gimmick for Condor since as an American her accent would be quite distinctive in a British setting, even after all her travels abroad. A Scottish twang would cover the southern drawl easily enough, and not make her quite such an obvious interloper.

@Genni Not really, each of the weapons have vastly different means of firing and advanced use.

I'm happy with that, although I'm not sure it's worth adding any extra specialties when we haven't filled out the ones already in the list unless you're expecting to take on some last minute recruits, or plan to use the same skills to generate NPC rivals.

One thing I'm a little worried about is that most businesses tend to close around 17:00, and if we're out of town in Cornwall it'd likely take about an hour to get to the Main Street. That'd leave us with only about 40 minutes OT for the distraction and infiltration, unless Condor and Birdseed manage to find some way to get locked inside when the proprietor closes shop for the night.

Harrowmounts Plight

The forest path wound its way between the trees in a way which left Mayumi wondering if the locals actually wanted people visiting their town at all. She was getting close though, catching glimpses of smoke rising from the chimneys in the little hamlet as she trudged her way towards them, only to find the path bending round, almost leading her in the totally opposite direction again a moment later.

She'd been told her tribe's village had been deliberately hidden away from the prying eyes of outsiders, and that this was for the protection of them all, but with disturbing rumours being whispered by the few traders they did have contact with the Elders could no longer sit by and wait for trouble to find them. Mayumi had been dispatched to confirm the tales, to find the beasts which were roaming the land and end them before they became a threat her small village couldn't stand against.

With a weary sigh Mayumi rubbed at her wrist, the Devil Heart Stone rooted there aching after her long journey. With all the natural life around her the jewel had been gorging itself with spiritual power and soon would need to be released. Glancing off the path Mayumi spotted a small clearing with a spring running through it and with a smile turned off to set up a camp for the night. Once the fire pit was lit and her bedroll prepared she carefully knelt facing the setting sun and raised her arm above her head and began to loose her arrows into the air, fulfilling her ceremonial duties as she had been trained.

My bad, just getting Condor into her 'distraction' get-up. She usually prefers kevlar to cotton, but given the circumstances a low-cut top and tight pants are probably more mission appropriate.
