@McHaggis I was annoyed on my first playthrough as a female Qunari when Cassie gave me the 'just friends' brush off. Luckily there was a little elf ready to jump in the sack with me instead.
Scout Harding was just the cutest and I wish that was a thing. I love dwarves man. Harding is just second in a list of dwarves I wanted to be romanceable. (Varric x.x)

Umm... Harding is romanceable. You have to flirt with her at the first location where you meet her the first time, and then it'll unlock the flirt option at the other locations too. When she's back at Skyhold you can then initiate a romance with her when she asks whether you're serious, or just messing around. If you continue with it she tell you her first name, Lace. However, if you start a romance with any other companion then she slips back to strictly professional without a break up scene.

I had a Qunari Warrior with Harding as his love interest at the end of the game. That must've been quite a match-up in the bedroom, especially with her fear of heights. XD

If you don't romance her, Harding comments that both Dorian and Josephine have been 'friendly' with her, as long as you're not in a romance with either of them. Josephine even goes as far as sending the scout flowers.
β€œFor the 'enticement' part, couldn't you use – I dunno – one of us as bait?”

"No, golems are inorganic and don't need to eat..." Henrietta mumbled as she shook her head, her eyes never leaving the sketchpad. "What we'd really need would be some of that red lyrium, that would make a very effective lure. Its mineral composition would make a tasty treat for the creature, while its magical properties would be able to subdue its soul while I conducted my assessment.

"Also I've always liked the colour red,"
The dwarf continued with a soft sigh, "It reminds me of my first girlfriend... she made such a pretty pattern on the ceiling after the accident..."
He isn't angry. He isn't shouting. He's complaining and he's annoyed since by his point of view there's no reason to risk the chance rather than just walk more. His voice is raised to only make sure people hear him nothing more so.

The way it's written makes it seem as though Gerald spoke for about three minutes all at once, without stopping to take a breath or pausing at any time. He wanders from one point to the next without giving the others the chance to soak in each point and so it comes across as a long-winded rant. After the first twenty second they'd all have just started to faze out, not hearing the words as Gerald just kept talking.

A bit like my old Ethics professor.
Looking up with a cheery grin, her hand still scribbling away unbidden in her lap, Henrietta looked back and forth for a moment before finally zeroing in on Marcellus, her magnifying eyepiece turning in his direction. "I'm designing a Golem Enticement Device for when we get down into the Deep Roads. It should be able to lure a golem in and keep them enthralled by the lure until I've had a chance to dissec... thoroughly examine it."

Suddenly her hands pulling the sketchpad up, letting Marcellus see the scrawled notes, chemical formulae and mad mess of spirals and geometric shapes which seemed to form the shape of a peeing mabari, or if you turned your head to the side and squinted a little Admiral Isabela wearing only an eyepatch and a carefully placed mandolin.

"The only problem is, I have no idea what a golem may find enticing enough to be caught in wonder at the sight of it. Perhaps I should perform a study of some kind before trying to capture one, then I'd be able to learn what they'd like... hmm, but that would mean I'd need to capture one to study first... We should try to search out a patrol while we're in the Deep Roads, or set a trap for one... no, not a trap, that would give a bad first impression and I'd need the golem alive, not blown apart by Cassius... some sort of lure then, or an enticement..."

Dropping the pad back onto the lap the busy dwarf was away again her hands and eyes leaping from one clear space on the page to another as she sketched, scribbled and annotated the diagram with even more gibberish.
@vancexentan Sorry, I did mean Gerald. Etta's got me a little distracted at the moment trying to design a better Golem 'Enticement Device'.

I wasn't trying to imply Gerald hadn't been doing anything, just that the others are currently riding the victory high at having been involved with the Inquisition in their success against Corypheus. They may not be fully considering the dangers as right now they all think they're invulnerable and can take down gods with one arm tied behind their backs.

No offense to Fredrick meant by that.
No problem, you gave Tommie time to break into Val's panty drawer and supercharge her vibrator for her. Now it has eight speeds and a flamethrower attachment. >D
"Nug crap!" Henrietta called out suddenly, waving her stylus in the air for a moment and glancing around at the others with a smile on her face, as though she was expecting them to understand exactly what she was talking about. A moment later her eyes glazed over again and her face melted back into a dumbfounded expression for a second before with a smile she went back to scribbling erratically all over her sketchpad.

"Hmm... I may need to add a stabilising agent to the mixture as well..? Deep mushrooms perhaps... no, that'd make it glow too much... Deepstalker jizz... hmm, might work, but getting it would be messy and it took forever to clean that stuff off my gloves the last time..."
As a side note, 'Etta would want red lyrium, as it's used to power her battle harness, but that's not something she'd be willing to admit to the rest of the group. That means she has three reasons to head underground; red lyrium, dwarven artifacts and golems.

@vancexentan While I fully understand your arguments against using the Deep Roads, how many of the other characters have actual experience with it? 'Etta only knows it as the stuff her family dug up out of the ground which was very useful for powering her inventions, and I don't think any of the others would've had enough contact with the stuff to understand the risks.

At the moment Gerald is coming across as a raving madman, screaming out long unbroken rants about how dangerous the Deep Roads are, but not really being able to convince the others due to his approach. Perhaps if he calmed down a bit and explained what the problems with heading underground were in a more measured way he'd be able to change their minds? After all he's only just arrived while the others have been battling Red Templars, demons and Fade-touched nugs alongside the Inquisition for the past few months and think they can handle the situation.
@Cuccoruler Shame. Mayumi could've shot him in the back through the portal while he was busy fighting. >D
