I guess my comfort zone is "eccentric side character."

Yeah, but there's a dubstep song called Time Control so I figured it was all good.
I think a good idea to help worldbuilding is if each of us talked a little bit about the "show" that our character came from before being featured in this Super Robot Wars style game. For example, Gogekkor V would be a super robot show from the late 70s. It featured a combining robot sent to Earth by the natives of Io for them to fight the coming Jovian invasion. It had five pilots, all teenager, and I want to say they were also a band, and the show is sort of infamous for having the main robot destroyed in its last episode with the Jovian Lizards still undefeated. Originally the robot was supposed to be rebuild better than before and take the fight to Jupiter, but the budget got slashed 3/4ths of the way through with only 36 of the planned 48 episodes being produced. Episode 36 was hastily rewritten to be the finale, and to end on a more hopeful note than it originally ended with one of the lizards being swayed to the Earths side.
Quick few little things. First things first, an alias is another name you go by other than your own. There's that out of the way.

You didn't describe your Stand, second off. What does it look like?

Thirdly, and I don't know if it applies here, but it's sort of Jojo tradition that time related Stands are reserved for villains. There's been like a single instance of a time Stand not being held by the main villain, and even then it belonged to an important minor one.
Should I repost my character sheet in here?

Also, do we begin in Egypt?
Or Getter Rays.
I was actually considering both a Super and a Real too. The real was from Venus instead of Jupiter, and came from an all female psychic race that was conquered by the Martians after The War of the Worlds and turned into a slave race of soldiers for their next attempt on Earth. Basically a newtype with an angelic mech that attacked with flying swords, looking to free her homeworld from Martian tyranny.

But in the end Dinosaurs won out.

Name: Saarang ag Agrips

Age: 75 of your human years.

Gender: Male

Appearance: Saarang is a 7ft tall green lizard man who is heavy with muscle. He has claws on his hands and feet, a long tail, mouth full of sharp sharp teeth, and a colorful frill around his neck that he keeps flat most of the time. Black spikes run down his back and the length of his tail. He has three deeps scars across one eye that extend down his neck and halfway down his chest. Wears the ceremonial bronze chest plate of his people, a loincloth, a flowing red cape, and a belt of which to carry his huge black iron mace.

Personality: A steadfast and honorable warrior, Saarang never turns down an opportunity to test himself against a true foe. As an extension of this, he does not like fighting people who are weak or unable to defend themselves. Is always serious, at all times, and values discipline. Does not understand the concepts of metaphor or humor, but is desperate to learn. Loves music and song, and often spends his off hours listening to something or other while training or working. Is conflicted about his place in the world, but determined to follow the path he has chosen to the end.

Brief Backstory: Saarang is a Jovian Lizard from the moons of Jupiter, winning fame and glory as a warrior of the great Red Frilled King. Eventually being promoted to general of the Imperial Army, he led the great Mechasaurus armada that subdued the rest of the moons and formed the great Jovian Empire. When the Red King eventually cast his eyes on Earth Saarang was among the first to descend from the enormous Stellerdactyles to meet the defenders of the blue planet. But as the battle continued Saarang found himself both enamored with things he had never experienced back on Jupiter, such as "music" and "entertainment", and dissatisfied with the underhanded tactics employed by the Red Frilled King and his fellow generals. The final straw was when three other generals ambushed Gogekkor V, a warrior of Earth that Saarang had come to respect very much, during an honorable duel between the two. He turned on them, killing one general and savagely wounding another, but not in time to save Gogekkor. His quick intervention had, however, been enough to save its young pilots. Disavowed and stranded on Earth, Saarang resolved to put his considerable might to use protecting the planet that had won his respect.

Skills: Amazing fighter, not much else. Understands English, but does not like speaking it because it hurts his throat to do so.

Abilities: Saarang is stronger than any normal human, easily capable bench pressing tanks and punching holes in solid stone. Saarang shares a psychic connection with his Mechasaurus Red Horn, able to feel its emotions and sense with its senses if they are fully connected.

Mecha

Name: Red Horn

Type: Super

Appearance: Red Horn is actually a cyborg in the style of this image, except covered in much more armor that only revels a barest amount of flesh. Likes its name says, it has two horns on the head in addition to big blades sticking out of the sides of its arms.

Specifications: Mechasaurs are genetically grown in a lab and then thoroughly augmented with cybernetics. While most are designed as weapons to be dropped onto the enemy so they can rampage about and do damage, Red Horn is the personal steed of a Jovian General and is thus bonded to him psychically. Befitting Saarang, it is specializing in getting up in the enemy face and tearing it off while relying on its armor to tank most of the damage it takes getting to them. It is a large, fast, heavy melee attacker.

Equipment System: Red Horn's cockpit is nothing more than a room in the creatures head where Saarang stands and connects to the beasts mind. While fully connected Saarang experiences everything that Red Horn does, essentially becoming one with it. Red Horn can either walk on two legs, hunched over like a Allosaurus, or on four for additional speed. It's bite and claws each put down enough pressure to crunch up mech armor, and the blades on it's arms can be extended forward to act as swords. These swords can be superheated for additional effectiveness. Red Horns most deadly attack is its titular Red Horn, where it stores energy in its horns, impales the enemy on them, then releases the stored energy directly into them. It's only ranged ability is that it can breath fire.

While it may look robotic, Red Horn is still a living creature that must eat, drink, and breath. However, thanks to its body's extensive genetic engineering it does each of these things efficiently. It can survive on just one ton of meat a week, mostly fish, and similar amount of water. In addition, it can last without oxygen for up to a week after a deep breath. It can be injured, but has an incredibly effective healing factor and can come back from even the most grievous of injuries if given appropriate time to recuperate.

Red Horn has a personalty, though a very subdued one. It can act without orders from Saarang, though will only do so when it is in danger. Anyone approved by Saarang can give it reasonable orders, such as "move out of the way" or "lift your foot so I can do maintenance," and it even has preferences with regards to mechanics and food.

For a local girls wedding he road out to purchase the finest white dress money could buy. For every baby born Hidalgo would be there at the celebration bearing gifts of fine wine, clothing fit for a royal child, healthy food, and money. This generosity only increased upon his fathers death and his ascension to the head of the house, inviting the whole village into his family home to celebrate his birthday and throwing money at any problem the people came to him with. In five years he had managed to spend nearly the entire family fortune in this manner, and the extended family realized that something would have to be done about this heirless fool who seemed bound and determined to spend every red cent that should rightfully go to one of them when he died. So a group of his cousins got him messily drunk, bashed him on the back of the head with a candlestick, chucked him into a barrel of acid, and rolled that off a cliff into the ocean.

Hidalgo Calavera died. But he did not stay dead.

For the first time, in his life a leisure and opulence, Hidalgo's godly powers manifested and a miracle occurred.

The dead remain in the state they were at the moment of their death, and can interact normally with the living world. They must remain relatively near Hidalgo to continue existing in the world of the living. When separated from him the shade can exist for exactly 24 hours before vanishing.

Conveying the Wishes of the Dead: Hidalgo can reach out to the wishes of the dead, work them into a physical for, and give them away as gifts to the living. For example, a mother who died with the wish that her sons would make enough money to save the family farm. Hidalgo could take that wish and transform it into a pile of gold, a vein of silver the brothers could find under their land, or a particular bountiful harvest for that year and years to come. Though he has some leeway with interpretation, the wish has to be used for whom the deceased intended. Hidalgo can not take them for himself, or use them on something unrelated. He must follow the will of the dead.
