Maisy looked over, calming down just a little, her breath steadying. "I thought you would be more upset. Because that's really unfair."

As Masiy screamed internally her mouth worked overtime to forge those screams into coherent ideas. "You can't log out. Everyone playing the game is stuck inside. I think I've been in here for three, maybe four days now waiting for the coffin people to fix the problem. I don't even know how you got in, if I were in charge if the coffins I'd have taken them all away. I'm sorry."

Maisy just sat there twiddling her thumbs for a bit, beginning halting sentences before stopping and thinking it over, only to halt again.
How did you even do something like this? Why hadn't someone ever taught her to deliver bad news?
"Fine!" She decided, looking down at her knees. "Just do it fast, like a bandaide." She looked up at the girl. "Don't freak out, but you can't log out."

"Ooooooooooh." Maisy says, her face scrunching up in a mixture of sympathy and apprehension. She sat down one the edge of the fountain, patting the Stine beside her with a *clank clank* of her gauntleted hand.
"You, uh, y-y-you're gonna want to sit down." She said. Of god she didn't want to have to explain this...

"Oh, that's good." Maisy said, relief positively dripping from her voice. "My friend must have gotten him."
"Wait." She said suddenly. "What do you mean new?"
"Wait." She said suddenly. "What do you mean new?"
"Was it hard getting here?" She asked. "There was this pirate that was skulking around, everybody was too afraid to travel by ship."
Maisy didn't know you do a actions like that on fountains too. She looked quizically at the bottle. "What does that do?"
"What kind?" She asks.
"Ahhh!" Maisy yelped in surprise, falling back into the fountain water with a mighty splash.
She sat back up in the waist deep water, spitting out a steam of water before looking up from her position at...an actual other player? It must have been. No NPC here had ever actually initiated coversation with her.
"Uh...uh...," oh man, actual human interaction with a stranger. One of her numerous weaknesses. "N-no, no, I was just t-thinking about how to spend the day..."
Oh my god had this lady seen her drinking out of the fountain like a dog? Did her being here mean more people were coming? She didn't think she could handle that, she'd have to move on.
She stood up and started to shake, looking around for other people that weren't walking around like NPCs. Luckily this just seemed to be a one v one, so it wasn't that bad.
"Ummmm, do you need help?" She asked. "I know the city pretty well."
She sat back up in the waist deep water, spitting out a steam of water before looking up from her position at...an actual other player? It must have been. No NPC here had ever actually initiated coversation with her.
