Description:
An enigmatic tower of meat and leather, Akrida stands at a respectable 7'1 and weighs around 325 lbs. No one can say that they've seen his true face, ever hidden away by the gasmask he wears. The jacket he wears has metal plates sewn into the leather, his presence heralded by the jingle of metal against metal.

Personality:
Not much is known about him personally, his line of work not particularly necessitating talks with the raiders of the Ashlands, but nuggets of information have been gained from his brief interactions with the more benign wastelanders. For starters, he's a good man. Not a particularly soft or gentle man, but a good one. He's apparently made it his purpose to travel the Ashlands correcting wrongs and punishing raiders in the manner they have given others without asking for anything in return, taking what he needs from his targets and leaving the rest for others to find.

No one who has met him can recall hearing him speak, in fact it's been years since he's said a word to anyone outside of his mind. Has a notable, if relative, soft spot for children.
    
Skills:
-Akrida is a master of the Ashlander martial art of breaking his opponents until they die, a brutally effective fighting style that promises great pain if you survive the first hit.

-Strength: His strength has become a thing of legend amongst the people of the Ashlands, able to send a buggy flying without trouble and rip apart war wagons with his bare hands if he's determined enough.

-Durability: More of an after effect of his strength than a separate gift, Akrida's bones are seemingly unbreakable, having never broken once in his memory despite the titanic blows his fists give on a regular basis. Unfortunately this doesn't spread to his flesh, as his many scars can attest. Comparable to kevlar, tough but not indestructible.

Sense Morality: With a look Akrida can take a type of "scan" of someone's brain and get a general idea of who they really are as a person.
 No specifics, like what they are thinking or any details of their past, but enough to know if they are a good person or not.

Anything's A Weapon If You Throw It Hard Enough: As it says, when you can throw a knife so hard that it pierces through most types of armor one can find in the Ashlands, anything you can get your hands on is a potential weapon. It also helps that he can throw things with devastating accuracy.

Weaknesses:
Independance: Akrida has spent most of his life alone and doesn't know how to rely on others for help, even if he really needs it.

Illiterate: Fighting for your life doesn't leave a lot of time for pleasurable reading, or any reading for that matter. As a result Akrida has a nice head for landmarks, but any actual reading is off the table.

Single-Minded: Once he has his mind set on a path, there isn't a force on Earth that can make him deviate from it. While usually a good thing, this single-minded determination makes him susceptible to manipulation.

The Body Is Willing But The Mind Is Weak: For all of his physical strength, Akrida's rocky sanity is vulnerable to mental attacks and he is plagued by debilitating migraines.
  
Brief History:
Akrida's history is shrouded in myth, fabrications to fill out the blanks he refuses to fill in. Some say he is a construct hewn from rock, while others say he's a vengeful demigod come to punish wrongdoers in the name of his patron. The truth is much more mundane. Born into a small tribe of warriors, Akrida grew up surrounded by conflict. Eventually, a larger band of raiders came and cleaned house, leaving a young Akrida alone. He grew older, stronger, and eventually brought it upon himself to dispose of the trash of the Ashlands. He hasn't looked back since.
