Avera finished and started back to the house, taking her boots off.

Rylan was back in the bathroom, giving himself a much more thorough bath than the quick one he had before. He let out a breath and leaned back against the tub, relaxing.

Avera smiled and gave Steele a good rub down and then started brushing out his coat and mane, leaving his tail for last.

Avera smiled and walked to the stables, going to Steele and stroking his neck. "We can start riding more often now my friend. And we're getting you that mare like we've been talking about," She said.

"To see my horse. I'll be gone for ten minutes at the most. If Auryn wakes up before then, just come and get me," She said.

"None that I can think of. I'll be right back, keep an ear open for the baby," Avera said, pulling on her boots.

Avera smiled and lightly kissed Caex. "We are lucky, but I'm far from perfect."

"No, it didn't take us long, but we're not horses," Avera said.

"By the time that happens, your sister and my brother might be married and have a child of their own."
