River whipped around and almost grabbed the being, barely missing and watching in horror as it tackled Tala and then wasn't getting back up. "Tala?!" He exclaimed, shoving the being off of her.
River nodded, he wanted to say more but this was a time where Tala needed to be with her own thoughts and if she needed help the she'd have to want it.
"This first kill's always hard, but you didn't have a choice," River said softly before letting her go.
River knelt down and pulled Tala to his chest, rubbing her arms. "Let's get back to camp before Fi tries to come and find us," He said.
River ran over and pulled the being off of her, breaking its neck just to be sure. "You okay?" He asked, looking to see it Targen needed help.
River walked over and knelt down, breaking its neck and letting it fall from his hands before pulling out his gun and shooting the other two in the head.
River chuckled darkly and grabbed its arm while it was still swinging, using the momentum and some added strength to hurl them into a tree.
River nodded then lunged forward, slamming at fist into one of the beings stomach.
"Permission to use excessive force?" River asked, cracking his knuckles.
"Rory, are you okay?" River asked, not wanting to make the first move.
