In Depth Appearance:
Maria has a slim and beautiful hour-glass figure, standing at only 5'6. Her deep chocolate brown eyes, are soulful but at times filled with hidden pain and burdens she bears. She always hides it with her loving and warm smile as it tends to take away the attention. With her lightly tanned skin and beautiful dark hair-she's a vision of beauty. Marianna's skin is flawless and there are no birth defects, tattoos or scars on her body. Her hair is usually styled in different ways-ranging from a bun, to being loose and curly, to a pony tail to a plait or straight with layers.  She tends to stay clear of make-up and heavy accessories, only wearing a necklace  of a wolf that had been given to her by Hecate as a secret gift and her earrings.

Clothing Style:
Marianna has a range of tank t-shirts, color-full tops and skirts and jeans to match. She can be seen wearing dresses from time to time, mostly during the summer and hot weather, or special occasions but mostly she wears what she feels comfortable in. She has a few over-sized jumpers and hoodies to keep her warm. Mostly wearing flat shoes or sports shoes, to match her clothing-they are more useful for running and Maria never feels comfortable sporting a high-heel shoe.

Marianna is a sweet young girl, that always puts others before herself. She is always there if someone needs a helping hand, or someone to listen to them and talk to. If she can put a smile on someone's face, or make them feel special and wanted-she will be happy, knowing she has helped someone feel their worth it. 

However, she can be rather shy around new people, as it takes her a while to open up to people and get used to knew surroundings and people, she never met before. Her shyness, makes her a bit silent and people turn away-finding her bit dull before even getting to know her. Due to her submissive and shy nature-Marianna can be easily intimated by those of higher authority of those that are more dominant than she is. Swaying away from confrontation and fights-Marianna struggles to stand up for herself against others when being put down. She'll keep quite and suffer in silence. She feels trapped in her own self at times and it's only during the Night, during the power of the Moon in her wolf form that she feels truly free. Nothing seems to trouble her then.

Background:
Born in Italy, Rome. Marianna Costa is the youngest daughter of a strict, and important business man/lawyer Ricardo and daughter of Hecate.  Marianna has 2 mortal siblings-two older brothers; whom she does not have much in common with. They do not understand each other and her step-mother is not much of a joy to be around. She fusses over her two boys and over-looks her constantly, for not being her own child...she resents that her father had a child with another woman in their short split. Growing up, in such a strict and unpleasant house-hold, Marianna became withdrawn and submissive. She never spoke out of turn, if she did-she suffered in silence and kept her feelings to herself. Writing and nature have always been her escape from reality-and it's something that keeps her at peace.

She never really knew much about her own heritage-only hearing of myths and legends about the Olympians and admiring their children and gifts. When she turned 11, that was the first time she discovered her powers-she had saved dying flowers in the field restoring them back to health after they had almost been killed by a drought. That same night, she was watching the moon in the sky and she felt drawn towards it, more than she had during her life. Discovering her powers of the moon-it wasn't long before she found out that she was special. Marianna tried to keep it a secret; but her own father knew she was different.

When she finally turned 15 years old-Hecate finally came down to her daughter and told her off her heritage. After spending many years watching over her child, she wanted her to know the truth and that she had been there, when others were not-even if she could not be seen. Naturally, Marianna was shocked and a bit scared about what was to come. She got accepted into the Academy 2 years ago-and she is still searching for her true path and goal in life. Even with other people like her around-she's worried about not fitting in and people judging her. But the Academy has been more of a home to her than Italy ever had been.

Hecate, Goddess of Witchcraft and Crossroads

Relationship With Godly Parent:
Marianna doesn't really know Hecate that much. The goddess had appeared in her life a few times over her child-hood; mostly watching and protecting her whilst growing up. They have spoken a few times; that was when Marianna found out about her heritage about a Demi-Goddess and what she could do. In a way, Marianna admires her mother and looks up to her, and wishes they would be a little bit closer. She longs to get to know Hecate a bit more-and she hopes that her mother will turn up one day again.

Godly Abilities:

Daughter of the Moon: Marianna has the ability to possess magic over the moon. The power is rather dangerous yet handy at the same time; if she is wounded she can control and draw out the moon's magic and heal herself. If controlled for long enough, Marianna has the ability to turn into a large dog/wolf. The magical essence in the moon, helps her ability with shape-shifting. Marianna has only form and one only-the wolf is her chosen form. However, she can also unleash secrets and dark magic, if she looses control or taps into another essence of the moon, that she cannot control.


Reviving of the dead: Whilst Marianna doesn't posses full powers over Necromancy-she cannot contact or revive the un-dead. She only has the ability to revive certain things from the dead. Her expertise are based over over some plants and smaller animals such as birds, rats, cats, dogs, hedgehogs, and specific type of Wolves. 

 Poisonous Mist and immunity:  Marianna possess knowledge and power over poison. Her powers allow her to create and manipulate food and drinks so they become poisonous. To the naked eye, they may look delicious, but one taste and they're deadly. 
Marianna herself is immune to certain poisons herself, due to her genetic coding and ability to manipulate poison. However only some can harm her to an extent most of them do not have the full affect on her system due her immunity. 

Marianna also possess some knowledge over Magic, but she is not as developed with some magic like her Demi-god siblings and is still learning.
