Less Nascar, more backwoods Indy/Rally. With Turbines.

Course.....there's a long, long, god awefully long, list of problems I have with that scene. Like...Oh, I dunno, Anakin coming back like, half a lap down on the first lap, then getting sent back in the pack because the engine blows up, then catching the guy in the lead again....but instead of blowing past him like he damn well should have, and could have....he throttles back cause script calls for moar drama.

But yes. I like the idea of pod racing. I like that they put it into the movie, adding to the world building.

For me though, that last scene wasn't so bad it's good. It was a straight up "fuck you!" to everyone watching the movies.

The fact remains that the whiny yell is still the best part of the prequels because of how hilariously stupid it is. That doesn't mean that it was good, just that everything else was so terrible that it looks good in comparison.

No. Pod racing was interesting. Utterly dismissible to the plot, but I liked the idea of it. Some things about it bothered me of course.....But far better than the ending of the third movie.

Also, Clone troopers at war. Fun scene.

That's about it.
