Except it's not even close to being a sim? It's an arcade style game, focused on quick brawls.
I found it fun for a while, but lately I've been becoming more and more infuriated by the outright fucking stupidity and incompetence of the players I am with. And the bullshit RNG values that have far too much spread at the higher tiers to make sense.
So I've stopped playing for a while, hoping War Thunder Ground Forces will be more interesting.

edit: There, the Vaara's are now in Okotoks, Alberta.
Edit 2: Jahki, a 10 hour drive to the mountains? Can't be that much, having been a passenger and finally driven through Alberta multiple times, you aren't seeing the mountains 10 hours away by car. Those 110 kph speed limits on the Trans Can and other highways as soon as you hit the foot hills mean you're around 700-800 km away from the mountains in 10 hours (accounting for food and gas breaks), which would have us in Saskatchewan. Even just hitting Lethbridge the mountains are tiny on the horizon, which is about 125 km from the mountains. About 1.5 to 2 hours.
