Current Memes aside, pineapples on pizza is ok actually. Being shat on for liking things different from other people gets old after a while.

It wasn't the answer she expected, but it was the one she wanted.

"A real reason for you to start on the fish person." The gentleman sat down on one of the chairs there, shifting uncomfortably as he found it not to his liking. "Though there's nothing much of interest in a fish, I'm afraid. Now in a human...."

The handle in her pocket seems to grow warmer as her smile grew wider, the knife in her hand rising all by itself, and a moment later would slice down, severing the mayor's neck(?), or where it should be, spewing his insides out on his own floor. The carpet would be ruined forever by the pile of steaming guts that streamed out, as she worked quickly, slicing the mayor apart as easily as one cuts butter with a heated razor.

Then she would arrange his body parts on his lawn and decorate the door with his own guts.

But that moment never came.

Just as she started to advance, Mado was restrained suddenly by familiar faces. How annoying... she should just...

"..ah..."

They took away her knife. And now they're dragging her away.

Ah... still hungry...
How many days had it been since she first boarded the train?

Mado, alone again as the others slept, sat outside, nude beside her clothes drying in the night's air and a small cloth pouch she stuffed all her pills in. Her clothes were starting to smell, so she washed it as best she can after she cleaned herself and after she was sure everyone was asleep. And so here she was waiting for it to dry.

How many days had it been? She was no closer to catching the faceless man than she was before. How was all those people back where she was? Mrs Joneson would have something for her if she visited in the evening. Today would be the day she baked a pie, and also the day she and Walter had a rather animated conversation. Walter likes his pie, she had explained once. Mado thinks Walter was just being nice. He never ate his pie.

Nor had she ever seen him for that matter, but if Mrs Joneson says he exists then he exists.

The faceless man... it was strange that he didn't show up that often now that she was here, though the others showed up regularly. Never in numbers however, just one or two, and just recently while she was bathing a group of four, mishappen bodies going past her and out the window. Mado had a this unshakeable feeling the Faceless man was gathering strength. She shivered when she thought of it gaining more strength than she can handle.

"My dear, that's a fine way to catch a cold." A large blanket landed on her head, completely covering her. "What are you thinking of?"

Struggling a bit with the blanket, she managed to finally get her head out, and start to properly wrap herself in it. "Nothing much... I was thinking of where I came from."

"Hmm... Do you miss your home?" The gentleman sat down by her side, frowning a little as he spots a blemish on his shoes. "Your parents perhaps?"

"Home..." She looked up towards the sky, the first rays of dawn piercing through the darkness. "I don't really have one..."

"I see."
"..the cat..."

After she had deemed her clothes were sufficiently dry enough("..damp...uh...") to wear, she had waited for the rest to awaken. And discovered the breakfast waiting in the kitchen. Wasting no time, she stuffed her face with as much food as she can, paying no heed to the newly awakened others. Afterwards she was brought here, where she was now, meeting with the cat, and his two new escorts.

And since the cat was back, there was something she had wanted to do since she first met him. Mado reached up, grabbed one of his cat ear and pulled on it.
Sarah's Request

Eins Nimgrud

There was a lot she wanted to say to that bleeding drow, but a conflict right now would mean she'd be prolonging her time spent in this dank smelly place, with those filthy drows crawling all over the place. Eins would have taken the drow's advice and moved to the front of the group(and far enough to not be in reach of any daggers they pull out), but the female drow moved ahead.

Eins had noticed the odd tile on the floor a moment after the drow did, and the ominous looking holes in the wall, something she was rather grateful for, but she did wish at least one of the drows stepped on it. The ranger or bowman, whatever his profession was, seems to be blissfully unaware that he was walking in a bleeding temple in the middle of the bleeding drow territory, barely noticing the trap. It was enough to make one wonder if the Queen's Blade merely took on any sodding person that can hold a weapon and boast about his skills.

The rest of the way seemed uneventful, though her eyes darted from place to place looking around for more traps. Finally, after descending a set of stairs, they reached a T shaped corridor, with a door at the branch, and two doors at the end of both of the corridors.

Of course, now that they were deeper into the earth, wandering about in a temple full of murderous traps and maybe some hungry critters somewhere, a sodding rock just had to seal the way out.

"..what the bloody.. Oi, the entrance's blocked!" She gave the solid block of rock a good kick. "Nowhere to go but in."

After listening to the ranger person, she looked over at the door he mentioned. "Why don't we just try the door? Those dwarves could have just as easily closed it behind them after they opened it. Artifact or not, it would mean nothing if we can't bloody exit. And that way-" she pointed at the closed off section of the corridor where they came from "- was open when we came in. Doubtless one of those dwarves know how to open the way back."

That or we have the ungodly fortune to have set off a trap the dwarves avoided, she thought to herself.

With that she stepped forwards to the door, pushing aside the chisel with her feet as she did so, and pushed hard against the door, keeping in mind of its make and supposed weight.
