Current Memes aside, pineapples on pizza is ok actually. Being shat on for liking things different from other people gets old after a while.

It felt kinda strange to be towering over people.

Plus, judging from how these people reacted, including that one behind her, it was clear as day that they were from the real world as well.

"I uh... thought you had your sidearm. Stannis Krolikov, formerly of the 75th Ranger Regiment, United States Army Rangers." The man started speaking. "I was hiking, went to sleep for the night, woke up, got lost and then found this dirt road. Not long after he found me," Gesturing to the scared man down the road with his head, "Then you showed up."

"I see. Juno Aulia, police officer." She looked around at them, noticing the spearman, Stannis, was sneaking looks at her horn. "I assume everyone here is heading to the village on account of some dream?"

All of them seemed a bit... young.
She stopped singing, as soon as the announcement came.

This was it. The free for all... Her chest feels like its about to burst, knowing that she will go into battle without training or even a tip on controlling whatever she will be piloting. Utano walked slowly to the hangar, feeling horribly like one about to be executed.

"..dead man walking..."

Utano stood in front of her mech, a small plate on it reading AGAS-P01, with smaller letters below that showing the full name designation for it, the Armored General Assault Suit. The P she assumed meant prototype. It really didn't look like much, unlike the others, who seemed to have a lot more interesting things to them, all of whom looked much more powerful than this. If she had to describe this, it would be that hers was more to a soldier, while the others were those dragons, and prototypical super tanks.

She gave out a rather choked laugh. What was she even talking about?

Shaking her head, she looked over at the suit they were supposed to be wearing. Almost immediately she remembered the woman earlier, and how tight the suit was. There was no way she was going to die in that outfit. Not when it would immediately outline every feature on her body. And speaking of which, there was no mention of a weapon's safety in this mock fight, or even that they will stop before anyone gets killed. Most likely her death would involve being exploded to a million pieces so no one could question her choice of wardrobe after death, but still, there was no way she would wear that.

She wasn't about to wear the pilot suit, but she didn't feel right leaving it either, so she simply threw the suit into the cockpit and got in after it. Almost immediately Utano was overwhelmed by the myriad of screens around her as the mech powered up, even more so when the walls of the cockpit started to shimmer and fade into a view of the outside. By her right was a level with a few buttons on it, plus a small console, by her left was a sort of a long console with a switch she could push to 0 to 100 as well as a smaller consoles with more buttons on it. She could also see a few pedals underneath her feet. And in front of her was a bigger console with a lot more buttons that were also larger, as well as a keyboard she could pull out.

Plus a cup holder.

"Wha... what do I do now?"

After a few minutes fiddling with the controls, and meddling with the cup holder to make sure its not part of the control disguised as a cup holder, she managed to get the mech moving, albeit ponderously, as every step it took shook her. Having no real plan or anything, she simply walked the mech out as far off as possible, seeking to avoid the inevitable battle.

Finding a spot filled with rubble and nothing else, she sat back in her seat, as her mech knelt down to minimize their profile. Pressing again the button on her headphone, she brought up the menu and started playing out her own songs.
With a crash the tree fell down, scaring off the myriad of fauna from the area.

She had her suspicions, but by that simple test of strength, Juno was very convinced she had just turned into one of those Oni people like in those mythology books she was fond of reading. She seemed to be an amalgamation of several types of Oni, or perhaps one she had no idea about. Perhaps that was why these solid iron shackles barely weighted anything. She had a feeling she could just peel it off, but there wasn't any real inconvenience to them, so she just let them be.

Breathing deeply, she continued on her way, wondering if she was ever going to find this village. Juno supposed she could ask for directions, but the one humanoid looking person she happened to glance at, but from the way they swiftly departed, she assumed they weren't in the mood for conversation.

"P- please don't hurt me... I- i'm lost... I-"

Juno whipped her head around at that, alert instantly. It didn't sound too far. Moving quickly, she crashed through the underbrush, quickly finding the dirt path, and the two persons on it, one looking obviously distressed. She didn't know what sort of situation this was, so she fell back on her police training.
"Stop! RPD!" Almost by instinct, she raised her hand to pull out her badge, before realizing she wasn't in uniform, and her badge was somehow pinned to the hem of her skirt, so she simply brought attention to her badge by pulling it out slightly. How strange to be clothed such when she came here, but still have her badge. If this was a dream, well, it seems she can't and won't stop being a cop even then. "Alright, sir? I'm going to have to ask you to put down that spear, and tell me whats going on."

Juno wished sincerely she had still had her piece right now.
Because you have like.. several people coming towards you already.
Spear me.
inb4 people gets worked up for nothing and Gnar already chose someone for the role.
Her smile faded as the boy seemed to stare past her, his eyes clouding.

"..ah." Utano was genuinely flustered when tears started streaming down his face. What was happening? Of all the people, this delinquent fellow was the one to start crying. Did her name had some sort of traumatic meaning in his past?

One of the other girls came up to and started speaking."May I have a second with you? We've got a bad case of scenery panic... and you seem the type to be acknowledged with it. We'll be in the girls bath. Sorry for the disturbance." And just like that, she ran off.

"Scenery... panic?" She had no idea what that was, nor was she really equipped to deal with anything regarding panic. In fact, she herself was close to simple ordinary panicking. This boy looked utterly utterly lost all of a sudden and she doesn't know how to deal with this. All of a sudden, Ian started moving, looking to be just as surprised as she was to see tears on his face.

"I'm sorry, it's just . . . my sister is, or was, a really big fan of yours. She played Kibou to Negai so many times I could probably recite it you by heart. I'm sorry, but I think I'll . . . I'll just leave you to your business."

"Eh?...ah wa.."

And just like that, he left as well, leaving her alone looking rather bewildered. It was hardly surprising her stage persona was gone by then; she never had to deal with this sort of situation before after all. By now she's go straight back to her dressing room, and sit wide eyed at in front of her mirror and try to process everything, but she doesn't have a dressing room, and they are having a scenery panic in the toilet now, leaving her little choice but to stay where she was.

"Kibou to negai..."

With a thoughtful look upon her face, Utano reached up to her headphones, pressing the large button on the side. A small holographic menu appeared in front of her, listing all of her current released and a few unreleased songs. As she picked a song from the list, the holograms disappeared, as her suit started shimmering. It wasn't set to stage mode however, so it just played the music just loud enough to be heard if people stood near her. Kibou to Negai, like its name, was about her hopes and wishes, where in the song, she started off low, but kept on reaching for her goal when encouraged and ultimately reaching her dreams. It's one of her slower songs she liked because it didn't require a huge amount of energy to perform all the dancing and the moving.

"Why was it, that only you notices me?
Could it be that this is fate?"

She started singing softly to herself. It was oddly calming, perhaps due to its familiar nature in this strange environment.
I know. ;_;

True.

Hm, Annette, Kuroko, and Nadeshiko. One to play the straight girl, another to incite things, a third to record it all. Together, with their powers combined, they are Team Pervert!

This is why I wanted one of the Imouto. lol

Just think of all the shennanigans.
She stared at the clear blue sky, with nary a sound save for the chirping of the birds and the merry bubbling of a brook nearby.

Juno Aulia stretched out her arms, marveling at the smooth seamless muscles she now owned, and the lack of gut wrenching, puke inducing, stomach pains caused by an allergy to metal slugs punching though her stomach. Without the dream, she would have thought she was already dead. With it, she now thinks she was already dead, but in a strange sort of afterlife.

Standing up, she sought the brook, and washed her face in it.

Sighing, she sat on a rock and pondered her situation. Juno, who was once a mere average looking Italian woman standing at 160 something cm was now standing at 2m, was now impressively decked with muscles, and a large bust to match. Thankfully the shackles on her wrists and ankles doesn't seem to weight much, or at all, despite looking like they were made from cast iron. Quite an odd dream to have, regardless of whether she was dead or not.

"Speaking of dreams...."
She reached up to her forehead, rubbing the horn growing out of her head in curiosity. Well, even if this was a dream, it doesn't change the fact someone asked for her help. For as long as she stays in this world, she will lend them her power.

That was, if she knew where to go. Where was a bloody road when you need one? Scratching her head in confusion, Juno simply picked a random direction and started walking.
