I think what Wit meant is that they 'rely' on it more then another nation. Where most might march to war or at least act directly, someone who rely's on agents/spies/etc almost always settles for the more subtle approach.

I've looked through just about everyone's sheet and have not seen anyone focus in that area.

@Bravo, you need Steam Engines for any Mechanist trait. (Also as a side note, Composite bows were first created because they could be smaller then larger bows but pack just as much punch, hence made them ideal for horse archers. So more "smaller is better" :P)

Btw, still on the topic of weapons, seeing as this is a fantasy realm with I assume at least a few fantasy beast I'd imagine some weapons would different then anything from our world.

After all, you'd want specially crafted tools/tactics to deal with wyverns or a Minotaur.

And that's not even getting into the realm of magic, A well placed fire ball or most AOE spells would be a nightmare for a tight formation. Just imagine what an otherwise average spell like chain lightening would do to a column. Partly why I wanted to know how magic worked in this setting. Allot of fantasy elements would reshape a battlefield from what we might recognize from normal middle age battles.
