I don't mind waiting, honest. I can always write up every other part of my post and then just add in the bits related to Seeker's characters when they're done with their post. I don't have any other major commitments in the post, since Alistair and Vail aren't talking to anyone else, so I'm content waiting.

Seeker, are you still planning on having your characters interact with Alistair and Vail again as they did in the original post you wrote up? If so I'll hold my next post back a little bit so that I can have my characters respond to any chatter properly.

@Grif of Hearts Actually, I have been told that using alchemy to create sigils for another cast is /incredibly/ draining on energy and sanity, and essentially unwise. So if you need to manipulate the ink alchemically for the symbols, it probably won't work well. However, if you write them, that works, and I like this. *bounces on* I totally have a character I'm toying with that I'd be happy to make your char's partner. *wriggles* I mean, if we get to bring in more chars later, that is. I was actually playing with the idea of her writing on her arm for sigillum casts. ^.^ Haha, you guys are great.

...Now I *have* to make them heavily tattooed. The tatoos can be half-finished alchemical symbols which can be finished with a small application of alchemy, allowing them to store "spells".
I imagine sigillum has some limits, although considering the specifics of vocum/motem are similarly vague I don't suppose it matters a great deal. I don't think it's ever been mentioned what kinds of movements were necessary to produce specific alchemy with motem, for example. Mind you, this did give me an idea for a character; an alchemist who manipulates ink/colour, and uses motem alchemy to create larger, more powerful symbols out of ink/colour to work for sigillum alchemy. :D
