Would it be possible for an Old Kingdom city of Relics to be at the deepest area of the Amaryth Lake?

No.
I think Othea would be cool and damp. Since the lake doesn't have any major rivers flowing out from it to handle the incoming water which runs down from the mountains, we have to assume that it floods often. That would create a very damp, boggy environment on the west and north sides of the lake, which is why the city of Amaryth is placed on higher ground to the south.
Point taken.

A mild counter-point, it was less weathering and more warfare that eroded their fortress. After several take overs most of the original stone work was destroyed. In most cases in which they weren't constructed under severe conditions, however, Old Kingdom stonework was preternaturally resilient. A lake forming over it, though, would be effective weathering.
You don't have to make them looks perfect, or even map them.

I was thinking a lot of ominous statues would be involved, and don't think you can put those down easily.
I have no problem with opening up for another RPer.

I also like cliffs and ruins, that works.
The earlier you go to sleep the earlier you wake up.

Then you can study!
Go to bed! That's too many hours for you to be thinking.
This is a fantasy world, I'm sure we can come up with a dramatic fictional reasons for this.

Edit: What if strange Old Kingdom ruins, weathered until they were indistinguishable from lumps of stone, filled the water. Only enough were dragged out to cover a portion of the waterfront area.
Reefs in a lake doesn't make much sense I think. I'm at a loss on this one, anybody else have an idea?
