Huh, I meant to click "like"
And there's the post from me, I'll add the voice sometime later today.
While others had argued and rambled, Athalzerus examined the architecture with a fiery gaze. The scale of the domed chamber and mighty pillars reminded him of his home, in the great cavernous cities his kind dwelt within. Still, he recognized that the chamber was the craft of wizardry, not the honest labor of chisel and hammer. Otherwise, it could not have existed within so small and crude a tower. The voice in the night sky above called all the adventurers' attention, and Athalzerus slowly frowned. It seemed that to whatever wizard had crafted this place, they were but a means of entertainment, a game of survival. How rude, he would remember that when he came face to face with the scrawny, malnourished bag of bones that had built this tower.

Still, there were no other exits in sight, so he followed close behind the dwarf as he entered the light. As he materialized behind the dwarf and scanned the room, he grunted his disapproval.

"More tricks," he uttered, before striding forward and swinging his hammer in a downward arcs to deliver a thunderous blow to the button and its pedestal, with little concern for what might happen to those others who had yet to enter the light.

Guarding the preparations in the main square was by no means an objectionable task for the young knight, particularly since it was self-imposed. It gave him some time to order his thoughts, without distraction, before the impending execution of his duties. It wasn’t likely that a cause for greater vigilance would arrive in so crowded an area, right? Despite that hope, as he stood on the scaffolding awaiting the Imperator’s discourse and the arrival of the prisoners, a lone girl within the crowd caught his eyes and held them.

It didn’t take his tome to determine there was something ominous about her, and as she held his gaze he saw her mouth something. Play? He couldn’t be sure, he wasn’t particularly skilled in reading lips. As she disappeared into the crowd, he reached into the inner pocket of his waistcoat and grasped his tome beneath the cloth. Even his trusting nature couldn’t help but be suspicious.

Form change, True Sight Lens,” the book took the shape of spectacles within his hand, and he slipped them on, shading the world in front of him in blue. Within the ocean of blood lust, pride, and littles islands of fear, there was a burgeoning wave of malicious desire. Like a maelstrom, it overpowered the emotions of those surrounding the girl and made it easy to track her.

Still, he hesitated. Should he abandon his station to pursue? He was not even sure he wanted to find out who she was, or what she wanted. Of course, I’m not actually on duty am I? How could I justify not investigating this?

With a flourish of his cloak, he caught the attention of the crowd below right before he dropped down into their midst, scattering them before him. He did not cut an intimidating figure, but few were willing to put themselves in the path of the Judicial Division, and so the crowd parted before him as he pursued the trail of dark emotion left in the girl’s wake.
@KoL What are members of the Judicial Division called individually?
@Flynn It's alright, don't work yourself to death over it, I'm sorry if I sounded accusatory.
Cyrin is just waiting alone, for the heists or executions to commence.
@BlueAjah Brandon Sanderson, in my opinion, is just fantastic. I love his Stormlight Archive, which I only found out about after he finished the Wheel of Time.

I started reading a couple of years ago, and practically every used bookstore has a set or two so I didn't have a problem picking them back up. xD

As for Fei, it depends on what she enjoys more, looking like a normal girl in front of her mom or burning people.
@BlueAjah What book are you up to? I finished just after the last book came out. ^_^
@BlueAjah If she's looking for friends, her mom has a bunch of cute subordinates, am I right?

Also, I'd totally be Green Ajah. More Warders for me.
