@dirty slime Care to tell me what's actually happening in your post? A lot of it is floweryness and super vague. I can guess at it with what you imply, but that is never wise in combat scenarios. I can assume you escaped by going sonic-speed, via the uttering of 'sonic move', and I suppose what "heavily damaged" my Fangs was the resulting sonic boom? It also isn't stated exactly how, or what you're trying to hit my character with at the end.
@dirty slime

The moment particle beam met blade, the sudden pivot and shift of momentum in the angel was reciprocated by a mixture of Kyrie's massive consciousness, the Psi system, and bio-com, with their abilities suffused to one another making the angel truly seem to move slower than molasses to the pilot.

Kyrie's movements were juxtaposed to the angel's, magnetic coated joints railgunning his left hand toward the auxiliary shield-turned-fist, building millions of particles along the way. For the three or so macro-seconds that his arm travelled, the mass was increased several dozen times over, increasing its speed and power mid-flight with enough force to not only match the angel, but provided sufficient force to, if not shatter its precious Sheild, would release a shockwave through the boss that would travel through the material and threaten to violently shake whatever might have been inside the lumbering suit of armor. If not simply send him flying bodily for several dozen yards. The force of the attack would, instead of knocking the Freedom off balance, would disrupt the digimons own.

As this transpires, four Fangs, reactive to fluxuations in Kyrie's brain waves by nature respond to the hostility of the celestial emissary, breaking away from their charging docks with jet-streams of v-particles left in their wake. Like ravenous beasts they surround him from angles which the shield would not protect him from before releasing wide conical blasts of v-particles that could sunder the hulls of battleship.
@thewizardguyI can agree with majority of that, but light as far as science is concerned is considered a fluctuating magnetic wave, if not packets of EM energy, which then creates photons. And the properties of M fields, which are a base component of this characters weapons are capable of displacing energy, which gives no adverse boon against light, but would still not allow them to be treated inferior based only on in-universe examples of a canon character. But he and I have already come to a consensus so no point in pursuing it further.
@gun

I'm guessing the whole special features rendered useless is the main reason why you're not happy. I'll admit that was too much, but the whole part about negating their overwhelming superiority? I'm not gonna change that cuz from what I see, they make Minovsky Particle and GN tech seem pathetic in comparison.

Minovsky particles didn't do all that much to begin with outside of run of the mill laser beaming other than their ability to render communication impossible. No one even really knows what GN tech does aside from function exactly like minovsky particles.

Anyway I'm cool with the middle ground.
@thewizardguy Well energy is matter, just not physical. The blade is not simply able to destroy everything, as I've said before. It is just versatile as it can destroy most physical matter due to its nature. Most charged particles(such as light, which is the primary component of this argument) are repelled by the V particles causing diffraction and polarization.

I can accept that the shield may be magic, but in the description provided it is light, simply buffed with a 'holy' enchantment, which would have no bearing on the natural effect the particle would have on light.
@TheWizardGuy a 'magical' force field is still energy. It doesn't seem to function on a purely kinetic basis, at least, which still leads me to believe it is susceptible to V particles, as well as a myriad of other reasons.
@dirty slime I was never suggesting they were ultimate by any measure. I've met lots of people who have weapons that could match it. But in this case I personally feel itd be totally ignoring parts of my sheet that clearly outline these kinds of interactions. Your shield is both light-based and has enough mass to be physical. I'm not arguing who's supersword is 'better', just asking that my weapon not be totally neutered for reasons that amount to 'cuz magic' when the weapon I feel would logically take the cake here in terms of its specific functions pitted against your weapons features.

I'm willing to negotiate and compensate for a middle-ground, but if you are set in your opinion then I guess either savato or lmpkio could act as judge for us.

edit: Kamen Rider all together is a monstrous series.
@dirty slime Well there's the issue. The scale of power and the novelty of weapons dont just translate to other universes. In other words you can't superimpose your universes rules to my character and say yours outdoes mine using only in-universe examples of your character. And I understand foremost the importance of positioning and tactical expertise in Cqc, but thats not really what I'm arguing.
@Dirty Slime 'Power scaling' isn't exactly an empiric enough reason. The Freedom runs on a solar furnace, which is nuclear and then some. And 'holy' magic is incredibly vague. Holy magic is still energy, and while sure it may make weapons stronger or more resilient, the v-particle is material-passive. It degenerates physical matter, which your shield seems to have similar properties with, and it naturally repels other particles for reasons explained on my sheet, which light is. Especially light, in fact.

I'm not arguing he needs to be dead, because you're counter is fine. I'm just arguing the validity of this attack V defense scenario, because a large part of the post relies on it.
@Nightknight Yeah railguns are pretty monstrous things. They generally fire at about 5 kilomoters per second. I have several characters who use various versions of them.
