Irrelevant. That is not vibration. That is High Pressure and High rotational speed. Vibration is not a distinct pattern.

I completely disagree. High Tiers are actually relatively easy to balance. On Vibro weapons... it's just silly. XD You can't have a solid object at a high rate of vibration, expecting it to do anything at all... Now, energy at a high vibration level.. may be a possibility. or even a weapon giving off a high amounts of vibro energy.

Subscribtion error

Yup, I was able to recreate the issue... It is most definitely the Low user priority, the server is set at. It'll probably take on average,,, 8-15 minutes sometimes, for some post. I'm pretty sure it may even matter how many people are looking and responding to the post at a given time. I.E. You won't find the problem quite as often in threads of Spam or whatever... That's my conclusion on that.

That's something that Mahz put into place. It is annoying... particularly because it effects avatars and that's what people complain about first. XD But, he has his reasons for it. All I can say, is be patient for now. You have to remember, that this place is still under construction.

I usually fight in around the Tier 5-7 Range. Which, I think for how they have the tiers set up these days, would be in 'High Tier'.

Speaking of which, I still prefer the numbered tiers, but I know a lot of people don't care too much for em. XD I'm old school.

There are some cached files on the internet. I forgot what websites have them available, but there is backup I believe for about a year back for almost all websites. I went on a snapshot of old threads in the 2006 Roleplayer Realms where I first rped at. I'm sure some of the old arena stuff is available. Somewhere.

Yea, I know. I had tried looking through some stuff at one point in time... it's really a pain though. XD

I'll probably roll up a character to use in this. Like I said before... I don't know how much time I'll have, particularity due to summer being right around the corned, and that's the busiest time of year for me... but, I'll have to give it a shot anyways. I wish we had some cached pages of one of the WOTW tournaments from Old Guild. XD You probably would have loved the Chibi Trio; Lynx, Tynx, and Rynx :) One of my favorite group of NPCs you'll probably see occasionally accompanying some characters of mine.

Just consider yourself lucky that you are here learning and not somewhere else. When I was first learning textual based combat... everyone where I was, were complete jerks. I had a knack for it, but I also had to bust my butt in getting better. Now, I'm probably one of the most creative Arena fighters on Guild. I won't stretch to say I'm the best fighter... Skalla, and Rilla can probably give me a run for my money if I'm not on my A game, but I am def, without a doubt.. the most creative. XDmatter of fact, I've won battles based on THAT alone. XD

Here, you are surrounded by people, that although they might do a lot of trash talking, will always be willing to help you out. :)
