It will be casual and not sure if there will be a post order yet.

Low, Medium or High Casual?
Dmessenger said This is a slice of life/Scifi RP that is character driven, it's generally about how social classes in schools effect us. Like and example would be a cheerleader is playing the game and deveplops a crush on another player who she thinks is cool, but then she learns that in real like the guy is a nerd and is antisocial and drama ensues. you could say that this story is similar to the breakfast club except instead of detention it's a video game that brings them in contact with each other.

Ah I see.

I tend to try to avoid High School based RPs now. But this seems to be more of an evaluation/review and criticism of it (as well as breaking the stereotypes) rather than simply be stereotypical high school. So I'm in, sounds like a cool idea/concept. :)
Interested, though I have to ask. What roleplay level is this meant to be at?
I might be interested, though I have 2 questions.

1. It's really just how the OP is worded, but are you going to be playing some kind of main/lead character? As in more of a main/lead then the rest? Cause if so I wouldn't want to join an RP that put one character on higher importance than others in a narrative perspective.

2. What level Casual? Low-Casual where it's just one Paragraph? Mid-Casual where it's 2-3, or high Casual which is basically Advanced?
Wait, so are we basically roleplaying playing video games?

Is there any kind of plot/story going on as well?
Crap, forgot to click subscribe so I didn't see this till now! Sorry! >.<

I'd have to see the mechanics before finalizing on a concept, but if you mean to say the mechanics are still in the making and you need our preferences I'd them probably aim what could be described as a Skilled Warrior, or a Combat Oriented Rogue. Not the backstabber, two dagger kind though. The kind with a proper sword and maybe a shield, in other words a mix/hybrid of Warrior & Rogue if possible.
Brovo said 1 & 2: Yet the high school dropput rate remains insane...

That has a number of factor's to it. There are those who take fake sick days but do so responsibly.

But then you got those who skip school because they have no concept or grasp on the real world and think it's more 'cool' to ditch all the time.
Big difference.

3: Most private schools in most countries take some form or government subsidy to lower tuition cost, especially if they are small, specialized, or religious.Atop this, presumable, one's had to pay for that extra cost. That makes it worse, not better! D:

Assuming the sick day isn't parent approved, which in my experience of both myself and friends it often is. However, we were the kinds who did it rarely (I think only ever did it when Mass Effect 3 came out and I planned to marathon the game right then).
It's possible, and other's have basically already covered everything I could say, so to keep it short.

1. It needs to not conflict with the plot/RP. The character is basically unable to take part in what is going on (even with alternate means) it's basically a character that stops the RP outright.

2. It should be a character where the representation is accurate, for example if you make a character with a broken arm he probably isn't going to be a good archer.

3. It shouldn't be a character that simply gains sympathy, everyone has difficulties and troubles. It how you overcome, work around them or live with them that makes them good characters. Not many many hearts or tears you get given to you.

4. It's not your entire character. You are not "Just the blind guy" anymore than someone else isn't "Just the computer guy", "Just the wizard" or "Just the sniper".
Warrior in the Shadows said Why not just do ammo caps, make people count rounds, and make logical restrictions on a combat loadout?

That just encourage's the badass gunslinger approach. Suddenly you want every bullet to hit or it's a waste and will harm you IC. Players get far more worked up being told they missed something if ammo is a limited resource rather than a narrative tool.

That being said though, like with all RP and system flaws. It can be ignored/avoided with a mature and skilled enough group of players.
Just a way to make it show, mainly because people like to skim through posts and it can help people catch what's actively happening at least.

I personally just used it to be eye pleasing though, once in a while my eyes would hurt just going through text that was all the exact same. The bold gave something a bit different that sort of stopped the blur/annoyance going on with them gave my eyes a chance to reset. I wouldn't have much (if any) need of such a thing today though.

The different colours case is only done by people for other characters (and I ever did it, it was a test run and I scrapped it quickly), but I find it's normally only used when people generally don't bother details who says what. So instead of say:

Ryan ran down the hill and said "I'm going to the supermarket", and Hordor replied "Hordor".

It would be:
-Using Bold and Italicize because coloured text is sadly not implemented on this Guild yet. :(

Ryan ran down the hill and said "I'm going to the supermarket", "Hordor".

Brovo said As a GM I find most don't actually read the full post whether they should or shouldn't. So I bold the dialogue to make them think that is all the info they need. And then they die by chainsword.
