So OT hasn't seemed to be doing so well with this new site yet.
To the point spam's saying OT is stooping lower than it.

So let's try to straighten out this sinking ship and get it sailing again shall we?

For drug laws.
Well, I'm sure we all know of all the weed legalization going on lately.
I can agree to that, way better than smoking or drinking and can actually be healthy depending on when/how it's used.
Not much more to say on that really.

For other drugs?
Personally I think legalizing them and keeping them government run and tracked will help in keeping crime rates, drug addiction, drug use etc. down.
Along with protect people from mixing and/or poorly made drugs. So it might be the next step we want to take.
However, obviously many of these can be dangerous so this probably more of a case by case matter.

On the old site, he was known for causing pointless arguments and debates with people a lot.
Usually along the lines of stuff like "All people who wear fedora's are wife beaters".

Though, he's seemed to change and clean up his act with the new site. So I don't really see any banning of him happening.
If the admins wanted him gone he'd be gone by now anyways.

Plus, we got other old banned members back like Mammoth, so it'd be pretty dickish to let them stay but kick Turt all of the sudden.

You really don't get it do you? Certain threads are specifically started in spam to house serious discussions and these are typically well taken. OT discussion that occurs inside a thread is very rarely taken well after a few posts. Also just because someone responds to your post doesn't mean you have to explain what you said or refute their claims. In case you hadn't noticed Spam had moved on. If you bring back a topic that Spam has clearly finished with it isn't well received. You brought it to a point where nobody cared anymore or where they even got peeved with you (see what I did there?) yet your response to them continues to try and start something. It's over. No one cares. Buh-bye.

Some people have gotten tired and wanted me to stop.
But there were others who also replied rather than saying stop.
So just because some people want it to stop, doesn't mean everyone is done with it.

If you want to say you and some others are tired of this that's fine.
But to claim spam/everyone is? That's just inaccurate, you can't account for everyone opinions on something.

However, it was related. They asked for pet peeves, I listed them.
That's not the same as walking into a random topic and starting a completely off-topic debate.

First tip in discussions. Insulting the other side only loses yourself credibility. :)

As for structure, that is true.
If they absolutely need religion rather than a friend, parent, loved one etc to give them that then so be it.
If you had read all my posts, you would of seen my real issues with Religion is really when they:

1. Force it on others
2. Try to treat it as a fact in a Scientific or Education method (Ex: teaching it in school as fact)
3. As an excuse to promote bigotry and hatred

So using it as a sense of structure? Fine, there is no conflict here unless if you make it one.
The only issue is if that is also used to claim atheists lack morals/values (which although not here, I've seen claimed many times before).

Also, there's a difference between being close minded and not simply agreeing with everything a person tells you.
Open Minded people can still hold their own opinions, and still be able to change their views if given good enough reason. They just have to be open to the possibility.

Do pokemon Shit?

Well, despite what the game says we know pokemon have sex. (If it was their egg man rumour [and it's only a rumour in game as well] why does he only leave it with a male and a female or a gendered pokemon and a ditto?).

May we see their parts or not, so it's safe to assume they also poop even if the games references to it are minimal.

Plus this is the pet peeve thread, I simply listed them.

Like I said, spam's been claiming it's just as capable as OT to hold these discussions.
So when one does accidentally start here, I haven't been bothering to move it now to test it.
If people want to me take these back to OT from now on that's fine.
Just don't be mad when I say "OT has more intelligent and serious discussions than spam" next time a Spam vs OT discussion pops up.
