Before Tenjer knew it the Covenant forces he spotted had already noticed and were firing on McCoy, and in an instant Anders had already gunned down two grunts. When Ander's yelled at Tenjer to light him up he nodded and yelled "Right behind you!". Tenjer followed right behind him, dropping to one knee and using a shot of his DMR to get a third grunt who was turning in the head. Mentally counting the aliens he could make out eighteen of them, which meant they were down to fifteen by the time the Jackals responded with bringing up their shields. Just then he heard Brewer run up from behind, yelling not to shoot and then asking what the plan was. He pulled a pin off a frag grenade and said "Take these Covenant scum down and get McCoy out of there!". Right then he threw the grenade and it flew right behind the three Jackals who set up their shields. The grunts and elites say it in time to avoid but the Jackals having had their backs turned to it had no turn before the grenade went off, effectively killing the three Jackals and disabling their shields. A plasma bolt then hit him right him the helmet, it was hot and burned a bit but ultimately it was mainly absorbed by his armor. He sighed with relief and said "We're going to need some cover or to kill all of these guys soon or we're done for!".
One question I want to get clarified, are we following game logic where Shadow Pokemon cease to be able to level up/get stronger?
I always found it odd how criminals would make pokemon that were unable to get any stronger.

Most of it all seems good.

The only part that worries me is the 2 weeks, out for good thing.
Someone could have a very serious life event hit them all of the sudden, or just really bad technical issues. This would cause them to be cut off for weeks, I think after the 2 week mark we should simply have it 'Person must have a very good reason for being absent to be let back in approach' rather than '2 weeks and you're out for good' approach.
Honestly I'd just suggest letting people post where their comfortable.

Your casual standards being the minimum, but people are free to aim for the Advanced standards as well when the mood suits them. Dividing the players in this RP by skill level groups will only serve to divide the community helping make this RP.
Tenjer shrugged in reaction to Ander's question and said "If Ross is at the other side I'd feel uneasy ignoring them. If they find him he's as good as dead". He gripped his DMR tighter, ready to aim and fire at a moments notice. "Though the two of us would have questionable odd's of succeeding too", he noted. "It may be best if we just pinged and waited for more back up to arrive", so Tenjer pinged his location again to update the rest of the ODSTs. He then noticed another Pod in the distance and went "There's another ODST nearby... If we're careful we might be able to get to him without alerting the covenant", and upon closer inspection he guess "Wait, I think that McCoys".

Tenjer began trying to evaluate the distance and said "If we wait a bit for the them to wander further off we can get to McCoy fine. But that would also put Ross in greater danger...". Not wanting to lose anyone else Tenjer was getting tempted to simply shoot at the Covenant now, and hope that Ross and McCoy got out fast enough to give aid.
I am, was waiting for more interest though cause typically half of a groups players will vanish before it starts, essentially mean this would probably become a 1x1 RP.
I can still make the OOC though if people are still interested.
mdk said I used to walk into gamestop with a handful of crap I didn't want, and walk out with six pre-owned games and $40 of store credit. So.... yeah, actually, it can be better than free. But that's not the point. Point is, cheap old games are not the sole domain of the PC master race. PC-only indie titles, maybe. But even those get ported over to (well I play on PS4 but in general) consoles, and sometimes they're even free to download/play. Like Outlast. Went on steam sale for ten bucks, cost me nothing.

Maybe it's area based.

The Gamestop's in my area you're lucky to walk out with more than 5$ per traded in game.
And any game you can get comparable to a steam sale price is usually really old, or simply wasn't that good of a game.
Not as low as 5 or 2.50 a game.
That's a rather limited market, one that basically narrows you down to one outcome.

Dismiss everyone who looked at Xbox One and chose not to buy it? Only listen to those who decided it was worth getting? You just guaranteed that the only people you'll listen to are those who will buy the console, so go buy it. Because that's the only advice you're going to be listening to anyways.

Also a console shitty features or decisions both also influence the console and how good it is. So you've basically not only narrowed it down to those who will say yes, but only those who say yes, you also don't have any complaints.

It's looking a lot more like you want reassurance/agreement with your choice than actual insight/advice.

So, ignoring your conditions because you'll get no actual consensus or vareity of opinions otherwise.
Don't get it, most games can be played on any other console, the graphics and performance of the games are better, and Xbox One's UI will make operating it very frustrating and tedious. Not to mention with the legal constraints you could lose your games at any moment just cause Microsoft wants more money.

Lastly? Games for console = 60$ or more each.
Steam sale = Usually 10$ and less.

Pokerface said I have a standard xbox 360

mdk said I don't have an XB1 yet,

Oh grr! You gave him advice when you don't already own and like the console yourselves!
You fiends!
Brovo said Because it's . Lets be frank, nobody is going to read through this entire thread. They're going to read that one question because it's at the bottom of the first post.I mean if you already accept that it's a broken aesop... Then remove it.

It didn't occur to you that it just didn't occur to me to edit that?

I'll go edit it now.
