Sole said I am legitimately curious about the price.

Though for me it's more because my school was crap so I never saw need to attend the events.
Cortez having completely missed what Hawke said noticed a number of Greens gathering near a cave nearby. "The Greens are getting too close! This is Red land! Everyone! Attack!" Cortez then yells and hops in the Warthog Turret.
Ok, there seems to be enough interest that I'll go ahead and start working on an OOC.

Tatsua Aiisen said If you're going to allow magical males, then why not allow over-sixteens?

Wasn't even aware there was a hard coded age limit, but now that you mention it feel free to ignore that as well.

Tatsua Aiisen said Or hell, magical dogs for that matter?

Aren't at a civilized/advanced level of Intelligence of consciousness, you can't reasonably expect them to consent to such a thing like a human can.

Tatsua Aiisen said You are tampering with forces no mortal man could possibly comprehend. Do not mess with the natural order of things, especially not for what is essentially a superficial difference in the end.

I'm suspecting you're joking now. :P
But regardless, I simply opened the doors for more kinds of characters to be made.
I hardly see anything superficial in not cutting out half of the human population.
I find it definitely started around game journalism and integrity, Zoe Quinns case was honestly just the last straw for some people.
Plus the fact it involved multiple Journalists and not just one, also helped get her more attention. I think those who say "This is about the sex scandal, why isn't IGN being attacked otherwise?" was covered pretty well by Dipper in that this case specifically IGN was out of, but IGN has been the constant focus for several years. It's not as if IGN was stayed immune for criticism for bad journalist tactics overall.
+IGN for a long time was known as a Big Dishonest Corporation, them being dishonest was common knowledge so most people universally knew to ignore them. Zoe Quinn's case partly hit as hard as it did because the Journalist involves were smaller ones, those who thought did remain honest, those we didn't expect to be dishonest like IGN was known to be.

However, I that's all just in regards to how this all started. I will more than admit that at this point the issue has evolved past Zoe Quinn and Journalist Dishonesty and has grown to involve feminist/sexism attacks on gaming over all, plus a lot of anger over essentially being told "Gamers don't matter in Gaming". What started as a final trigger explosion against dishonest journalism has expanded into a far wider and more complex topic.

May I ask why?

If it's a concern about of Men in feminine magical suits though I'll answer in advance (If not, ignore the rest of this).

It's not forced, if you intended to play a male you can dress them in whatever attire you see as appropriate for a magical person who fights witches. Now, I'm not one who judge or discriminate on things like gender identity, expression or just fashion expression in general. So if you want a male in such attire go for it, more power to ya. But it won't be forced on those who would rather not.

Edit: I should clarify, this also extends to women. If you want to play a magical girl, but not dress up in dresses and shit to fight Witches that's also fine.
Short Answer: It varies too much on RP type and the Players to say.

Long Answer: Note these are generalizations and on average rules and observations being made.

Closed RP's usually only work if people already know each other. If you don't, there's just not enough communication, closeness to collaborate well or motivation to keep going to kepe most RP's alive. Restricting it to select people without allowing a stream of new people spells failure if you can't keep your current group involved, motivated and loyal. Plus, why the hell are you having closed if you're just adding random people you don't know to start with?

So with that being said.

Open RP's are generally the better way, specific people can still be invited but it also brings in new faces and talent you didn't know of before. And these new faces could end up becoming good friends that you'd want to invite to those closed RPs. It also makes it easier to add in new people if old ones leave for some reason.

Closed RP's generally I find only work to be a benefit if you're doing a long/continuous plot line with the same characters, mainly those that have their own separate RP sites dedicated to that group. But even then having new faces can help expand characters, plot lines etc. Hell my first 2 years of forum RP's were on such specialized sites, but in the end over half of our players were new people who wandered in over time. The only other case I can potentially see Closed RP's being a boon is honestly not even a boon but a preference. If you have a specific plot/story in mind and you want to specifically experience it with your friends, kind of like say if you were to set up a D&D group but you only want friends at the table rather than setting it up it strangers.
Try cosplaying and just walking around casually in it all day like it's completely normal. :P
And I'm back, any interest still?
@Names: Captain Orange Jello? XD
But if you watched Torchwood you'd learn that Captain Jack Harkness isn't his real name. He stole it as a cover from a Renowned Captain who was killed in the 20th century.
Plus remember he was a time agent before meeting the Doctor so he completely had the means to travel back there beforehand.

@Everyone is the Master: Would it also make everyone gay?
Kaga said Henry just placed a bra over her eyes in a rather similar fashion to that Wall-E sig that Taaj used to have and called herself Spiderman.

Did she try shooting webs? :P

Kaga said Henry: I'm so tiiireeed.... DXMe: Then sleep. Henry: Caaaaan't...Me: Why not? Henry: Cuz there's so much stuff I gotta do in the morning...Me: ...Well... that would be a pretty good reason to sleep now...Henry: I gotta get up at six, dude.Me: ...I know. That's why you should go to bed now. So you can sleep well enough before six tomorrow morning...Henry: But what if I sleep enough before then?Me: ...You're overthinking sleep. I didn't think that was possible, but you've managed to pull it off. Just sleep.

Did you try to explain to her that even if she can't get enough sleep that some sleep is better than none? :/

Kaga said Oh and, did I mention that Henry has what she claims is called "ghost pulse"? Like, her heart is weird or something so her pulse feels so faint that it's barely detectable, making it seem like she doesn't have a pulse at all sometimes. She could die right now and I wouldn't even know. Also is now a thing in case anyone missed it.

Well, I'm pretty sure if she was dead that her limp body, coldness and blank eyes would still be clear indicators.

Kaga said Was cleaning my room. Found old Henry drawings.
