There's a reason that although I disagree with the practice/concept of MRA that they are still far better in my books than feminism is. :P
Kaga said *nod, nod, nod* Yeah, all of that works, I think. As for the tunnel complex - all of it is part of the village. There are a few more openings to the surface, but all of them lead to the jungle above (they're all part of one RP setting, after all).

So simply passing by to get to another location isn't going to be that valid then?
Supply grab it is then.

Kaga said I know a lot of it can still be figured out OOC. The issue I had lied mainly with the sort of not-caring nature I got from it all as you kind of put off explaining/figuring things out.

Being perfectly honest, with the combination of me having been distracted by other things for the last while (Both IRL and among other online communities) and that I'm not at all used to joining RP's mid-way (I make a point of strictly joining RP's from the get go unless if someone I know is already present in the RP) that I can't blame you for getting that impression.

Kaga said Speaking of which, where is your "main destination"? Might as well discuss all this now, while we're thinking about it. (Though I'm running on like 2 hours of sleep right now, so please tell me if what I'm saying doesn't make sense.)

Honestly? I was going to improvise that, that's generally how I do RPs (Both forum and tabletop), think of things on the go rather than have a set concrete plan/layout.
I personally find doing such planning event tends to start railroading the plot and leave less avenues to be explored, but that's more of a personal preference thing I've always done.
If this is an RP that wants more pre-planning involved I'm fine with that.

So in terms of main destination? I would imagine the town closest (once again, I lack OOC geography knowledge so I can't name a specific place) since my main goal has been to try to find other players and bring them together. So I'd be wandering through any place/area that people tend to gather in search of such people.

Kaga said Which reminds me: sorry for snapping last night.

Nah, you were in the right. :P
I was unintentionally giving a strong "I don't really care much about the RP" impression, which any roleplayer should get worked up about.
Kidd said I'm just still waiting on the MRM to do something for men, but it spends its time bitching about how terrible feminism is instead. A majority of MRAs think the issues men deal with today are caused by women and/or feminism (hint hint, they're not). I invested time in the movement for about a week before I realized how backwards it was. And most of the issues they talk about are things feminism is trying to fix anyway.

Just swap the places you use MRA and Feminism and it would be just as true. :/
A lot of MRA is just arguing against feminist, true. But a lot of feminism is also just arguing MRA.

Where outside of where they are simply fighting one another I've tended to see the following.

And note I say this as someone who when I first got involved in these issues regarded myself as a Feminist for a while. But then after a few years of noticing all the flaws with feminism, I switched to MRA briefly in an attempt to try to counteract the harm that third wave feminism is causing. But very soon after deciding that was a redundant and backwards way of thinking about and tackling the issue I decided to switch to becoming a Gender Egalitarian.

I think her brain are the drugs.
The Nexerus said I personally would have hated if Episode VII was [i]Star Wars: The Extended Universe"[I]. It's a good business decision on Disney's part, too; the vast majority of extended universe fans are the sort of Star Wars devotees that would go to see ANY movie with the name 'Star Wars' in it at least twice.

Speaking as one of those extended universe fans, I'd definitely go and watch it at least once just to see what it's like.
If I watch it a second time or not though would depend on if I felt they actually did a good job (and in this case, did justice as a extended universe replacement) or not.

mdk said At least it couldn't get any worse.

In terms of the movie itself? I agree.
In terms of the effect it can have on the star wars fan base? Eh... :/
These Disney movies stand to bring in a lot of new fans, which is good.
But fans who since they are introduced by disney may take a strong position in "Disney said EU is out, so it's out", which if that happens could outright destroy any new star wars creation that isn't a Disney movie.

I know, and I just did cause it became apparent I mis-read some things.
But earlier I wasn't thinking in a "I don't remember ______, so I'll just wing it". It was that the memory altered a bit overtime, so although I thought I was remembering it clearly (therefore didn't think I needed to re-read the PM) it later became apparent/highlighted that the memory wasn't exact.

It would probably be accurate to say "I mis-remembered somethings".

Kaga said -Underground complex and why I'm there-

I should note that none of the "I'm just wandering underground, not part of the tribe itself" was mentioned IC, it was all in OOC. So technically speaking none of my hiccups on that aspect have been hard-coded/wired into the RP. So now that this hiccup has been detected we can easily address and fix it, without it actually having an IC impact.

So to answer the questions about why I'm there, if that case it would probably be a visiting thing. Grabbing supplies and/or maybe there's an that I need to pass through the underground complex to get to(I don't know the world layout/geography, so I'm going to have to ask if the underground complex actually leaves to other places like that, or if it's simply dug out tunnels that don't really lead to anywhere else).

If supplies we can say I was sleeping outside on the mushroom simply cause I didn't really like having to stay there any longer than I had to. If the latter we can say I was doing so cause I had already left and was on my way to the main destination (I never actually explain why I was sleeping outside yet IC, just that I was which honestly was for the OOC reason of being close enough to the other players to be able to take part).

Original Trilogy was gr8, the story was simple though, you cannot deny that, it wasn't really anything mind breaking or seriously out there, the universe, ,the effects that mixed CGI and practical effects were great. I was not saying the originals were lame. I'm saying that the new movie(and eventual trilogy) will try and follow the same story, same basic plot, and just be bland as hell. Also, I didn't say "All" of it, I said "a lot" of it was terrible. Old Republic era stuff is really gr8, and a few things from other eras were pretty good too. the majority of it though? fuckin garbo.

Ah, now I see what you're saying.
And yea you're probably right, they're most likely going to try to follow a very traditional/cliche plot line with the movies.
Like I detailed in my first post, Disneys done a lot to indicate they see it as a quick cash in with children. Not something to let flourish on it's own like they did with Marvel.
