That idea though would have no scientific backing to it.

Plus, life hasn't even existed for that long in the grand scale of things.
It sure seems long when compared to our extremely short lives, but looking outside that it's not that surprising to find only one species (In our Solar System at least) had reached a state of Civilization.
Death is the result of Cancer.

Suicide is the result of having a mental condition.
A condition which like cancer the victim has no choice over having, it is inflicted on them the exact same way.

Most of the thread has already covered this, so instead of spending a long time saying the same point's again I'm just going to urge you both to go back and read the rest of the posts on the thread. Specifically the one's Jorick made. Until you've bothered catching up on said posts and the debate you're not in a position to be calling anyone an idiot or acting as if you know for a fact if you're right or wrong.

No it isn't. To call someone cowardly because they chose to check out of life because they were afraid to live it, afraid to try and make it better, and in the vast majority of cases, actually refuse help, is not just far from ignorant. It is accurate to call them cowardly. There isn't a single reason we shouldn't hold them in contempt for their weakness. Not one.

So next time I see someone die from Cancer I'll just blame them for not getting the right help and being to weak to fight it off.

blasphemy! ESO is fantastic. I've been...... completely addicted since early access started. It's amazing.

But... I thought it was only out for the weekend?
Is it open new to people even?

I really thought they'd have the decency to at least answer the question.Oh how wrong I was.Anyways, on topic:Fly straight into the galactic core and spiral out from there. Maybe i'll find something cool no one has ever seen before.Perhaps even try finding the answer to the fermi paradox by seeing if there's even intelligent life outside of humans in the milky way at all.Than maybe go back 65 million years ago to see if the earth was really once ruled by sentient lizard men who tried colonizing mars before completely wrecking the martian biosphere.

It's spam. Like I said in my OP, they're the High School of the Guild. Not usually interested in having deeper/intelligent conversations, more just trying to have fun in their cliches and then acting defensive when someone calls out the behavior for what it is.

As for the Lizard men? Is that meant to be the conspiracy theory, or is that a Doctor Who reference?

It's their life, their body, so it's their choice.
To call someone cowardly because they made a choice for their life that you wouldn't make yourself is just ignorant and close minded to others situations and to peoples rights over their own lives and body. And they are not like rapists, murderers or abusive spouses who go against other people's rights and harm them, suicide is strictly something effecting ones self.

If you want to try to argue hurt loved ones, there are many things individuals can do that loved ones will not agree with. But we don't use that as an excuse to tell those we care for how to live or act. That would be just be selfish on our part.

I found this topic/question originally posted in spam.
But the first thought to cross my head (especially after seeing the replies) was "A show based so much off of science, knowledge, open-mindedness and growth... and just spam section the high school of the guild get's to answer this question. That's not fair! :P).

So I decided to bring it to Off Topic to see if we can get some more serious and thought out answers on the topic.
I personally not entirely sure.

My very first thing would probably be to go into a Black Hole and see it from the inside.
I'd also eventually look over our human history, how we evolved, where things like Religion started exactly etc.

But outside of that? I'd have to think more on it to say.
