When you want to join an RP of a particular theme, but no threads for it exist, and you doubt it'd be all that popular if you were to make your own thread for said theme.

Bio

Some fucking idiot who probably isn't worth thinking about all that seriously. He is a 23 24 year old doofus situated somewhere on the planet and studying International Relations at some university. He is fond of history, militaria, fiction, vidya, tabletop wargaming, comic books, and writing in third person. Oh, and he seemingly likes talky-walky animal people as well. We have no idea what the hell is up with that nonsense. He has diagnosed mental problems, so maybe that's got something to do with it.

He probably isn't a robot or a German IRL. However, we cannot be certain.

He likes a variety of different RPs, and is thus liable to show up anywhere, anytime. As a general rule, he isn't particularly keen on fandom RPs, but you never know; there may be some day be an exception.

I could be wrong. I could be right.

Well hey, that'd totally work for a lighter bio-armor.

While I'm here, I'll fetch some pics of German stuff as well.

Panzerkleins, in their earlier iterations, look kinda like this. This is the sort of stuff you'd have access to at this stage of the war.

Later on, tons of other variants join the fray.

Beyond this, you also have the Gehenpanzer. Panzerkleins and Gehenpanzers alike follow the same rule for bio-armors, in that these pictures aren't the only things that exist, and you're more than free to find your own pictures, so long as they fit.

@Hans von Lek

I'm finding it difficult to visualise what the biosuits for the USSR look like. Do you have a picture somewhere of it?

I'll fetch a few pictures. I was actually going to put together some reference pictures for a bunch of stuff at some point.

Doesn't necessarily have to resemble any of the above, of course. So long as you can find something sufficiently similar. As the description says, they come in many shapes and sizes.

Hello there, I'm interested in the RP although I'm still debating whether to join.

Question - You know how in Italy and Japan, mythical creatures are real? Well I was wondering if that could apply to the Philippines. Everything was normal until during the Philippine Revolution against America. Here's a list of mythical creatures.

And then these, these things are bloody horrifying

I'd be more than okay with that! This stuff is awesome. Also, you've reminded me to make it more clear in the intro that people are free to write in their own stuff, and it's especially encouraged with minor nations and other parts of the world I haven't myself covered. Of course it needs to be ran by me first, but yeh. There's an element of collaborative world building to it, for sure.

EDIT: The note about world building is now in. It's in the paragraph under the nations listing, if curious. It's pretty much what I've already said. Also, the reserved post under the OOC was where I was gonna keep track of new additions to the setting, as well as future operations and other such things, so expect to see that in use real soon!
The Anthro category on DeviantArt has some neat stuff if you put in the right search terms.
Ah, naw. I didn't mean to give the impression I feel they are forced, but reading over what I've posted I can see how you'd get that impression. My mistake. But still, it sounds a fun way to add some orientation to things, so I'd love to try it out with anyone who's interested.
Yeah, my thoughts exactly. Admittedly the pre-established character relations thing is new to me, however. Like, I know of it as a concept, but I've just never been in a thread or game where it was enforced to any particular extent. Might need a bit of a hand there.

I guess a possible hook is that given my character is a warlock of some repute, it's quite possible some of you have had run-ins with him before, either seeking his help, or as a victim of one of his more jerkish whims. Someone's character could even be still suffering from some curse he put on you for his amusement, and trying to hunt him down to convince him to reverse it, forcefully or otherwise.

Given he's quite fond of duels, it's possible they could be seeking him to set him a challenge of some kind or another as well.
@Commodore Robot Top notch stuff. Accepted.

As an additional thing of significance to the rest of you, the rather clumsy name of "Office of Unified Allied Operations" has been retconned into "Office of Unconventional Joint Action", or OUJA. (Credit and thanks to Commodore Robot for the name suggestion!)
That makes sense and is fair enough, yea. To get a start on location, I actually got ahead of myself and started writing up my first IC post, heh. I've positioned my character somewhere out on the road to some city or another, but of course left the details vague so it may be more seamlessly be slotted into things. Given how these things tend to work, I just kinda assumed there'd be some starting city most people would be at or headed to. Nothing is set in stone, of course.
Any ETA on the IC, or is just when you feel there's sufficient people to start? I am pretty hyped.
Hahaha, no! Not months, I promise you :P. Actually, I'll probably have time to get it started, even despite my busy-busy, over the next few days (1-3 days) or so. But being busy isn't why I'm holding off on starting, for the most part. Just waiting for a decent number of Axis and Allied characters to appear.

EDIT: For full transparency, I've just got some homework to do. It shouldn't absorb too much of my time, and I'll be free for a fair while once I've got it all handled. Nothing serious.

EDIT 2: I'll as much as possible facilitate drop-ins after the initial starting point, but I'd just like to start with a decent number of both Axis and Allied characters. If it looks like this is gonna take a while, I'll just give the understaffed side extra NPC forces to compensate and get started. Aiming for about 3-5 per side as a starting point, but this is not divine mandate.
