Yeah, but with so many spell ideas I don't want to overload the character and make them overpowered. So a new 'Greatest Love/Motivation' section, eh? Updating the CS shortly.
I've noticed that there are plenty of people interested in this RP and a lot of different characters. Since we have so many, do you think that they could potentially split into two different groups, perhaps sent at different times or by different people? I think that might be pretty interesting and fun, any thoughts?

Personality: Kind, courteous, and empathetic to others; she is generally warm and compassionate to all who meet her. She treats those who are in positions of authority with high regard, being well-mannered and respectful. Dedicated to the People, she has a strong sense of duty, justice, and liberty instilled within her. In the face of adversity and hardship, she stands as firm and strong as a mountain. Her noble blood giving her a confident and prideful bearing, she carries herself with the air and grace befitting of someone of her status. Although groomed to be a lady, she can be somewhat headstrong and stubborn in her beliefs. Sometimes, her ox-headed ways can make her come across as one with an overbearing personality, openly speaking on whatever comes to mind. She has a strong sense of what is right and wrong, good and evil. Though in actuality, she is more naive than she seems and is blind to the true dark that occurs daily. Unaware of the real horrors that lurk within the shadows of Protea. Her large and loving heart being one of her character strengths, at the same time is her fatal flaw. Trusting and believing of all who become close to her, she is terribly gullible. Without realizing it, she opens herself up to becoming manipulated and taken advantage of.

Fighting Style: The Delacroix are usually a peaceful group, avoiding conflict whenever and wherever necessary. That's not to say that they are to be disregarded for this fact. To the contrary, all of the Delacroix elven bloodline are taught and trained in the arts of self-defense and combat to some extent. Favoring a swift and decisive end to any battles they could find themselves in, they specialize in seeking out and exploiting weaknesses of their enemies and abusing it relentlessly. Once their quarry has been crippled or defeated by their severe, critical attack style, they would either flee having finished the battle, or move onto the next target. Other members of the Delacroix elven family even exclusively specialize in Archery and the use of Magic. Preferring to do combat from longer-ranges, away from the general dangers of close-combat.
To this degree, Marianne discovered herself well-rounded in swordsmanship, archery, and magic. Not a grandmaster in any of her skills, her versatility is what makes her a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
With her Rapier, she typically aims for vital spots and organs using a thrusting and stabbing style of fighting. If unable to strike an enemy down quickly, she'll attempt to disarm them or find other ways to reduce the opponent's effectiveness. She'll more often than not attempt to nimbly evade any attack she can. Using her Buckler to parry light attacks and following up with ripostes, she moves with the swiftness and grace of a dancer.
Not as skilled as she is with the blade, she has basic archery skills. Though not the best marksman in the world, she can generally hit her targets most of the time with her Bow & Arrows. Be they moving or stationary and even then only relatively close targets. High speed targets at farther distances are rather difficult for her to track and engage.
Rapier: A long and thin steel blade suited for thrusting and stabbing. Slashes with this sword typically leave only shallow wounds, though its edge is sharp. Due to its thin size, it's prone to bending and flexing under moderate force. Wielded in her right hand, it can act as a Conduit for one of her spells.
Buckler - A small steel shield on her left forearm used for primarily deflecting/countering light attacks and strikes. It can act as a Conduit for one of her spells.
Bow & Quiver - A black recurve bow slung on her back when not in use. Her quiver of arrows are strapped low so that it sits in the small of her lower back, its open end towards her right. The bow and its arrows can act as a Conduit for one of her spells.
Light Plate Armor - She wears thin and light, but strong steel plate armor protecting most of her vital spots and joints while allowing her full range of motion and mobility. Unhindering to her agility and speed, if only marginally.
Having only a respectable amount of mana within, she can only make very few casts of spells before having to rest. Unable to sustain particularly powerful magic for very long. Therefore, due to these facts, she is unreliant on her magical abilities. Preferring not to depend on her spells when she can. Her affinity being Potentia, the spells and knowledge of other affinities only serve to enhance the primary. She is unable to learn or master another other affinity truly.
Offensive: Lightning Javelin [Spell, Cast, Potentia] - Collecting her mana into her hand, she can form a large 'spear' of pure electrical energy to throw as a projectile. Though powerful and can pierce most conventional armor, it is not very accurate as it travels in a slight arc. Using her Bow as a Conduit, the spell becomes Greater Lightning Javelin.
Greater Lightning Javelin [Conduit, Cast, Potentia/Sensus] - Collecting her mana into an arrow to be fired from her Bow, Greater Lightning Javelin is an overall upgrade from her regular Javelins. More damaging, extended range, faster velocity, and more accurate. Thanks to using her Bow as a Conduit, not as much mana is required to use this spell. However, using slight Sensus affinity she can imbue the Javelins with slight tracking/homing ability mid-flight. But this causes the mana drain to become greater than a standard Javelin spell cast from her hands and thusly is unable to cast very many of these enhanced Javelins. The cast time of this spell is also increased due to her having to individually imbue each arrow from her quiver before firing.
Heavenly Storm [Spell, Area, Potentia/Tempestus] - Her most powerful offensive spell, she may only use this spell once per day and even then only with a full mana pool as it completely drains her of magical power upon use. In a chaotic and random pattern around her, she decimates the surrounding area with a storm of lightning bolts. During the cast, which has a long wind-up, she becomes defenseless and locked into place. If not used at peak physical and mental condition, she may collapse or even enter a temporary comatose state. To make matters worse, this spell is indiscriminate. Harming friend and foe alike. Due to the harsh conditions of this spell, she rarely if ever uses it. Only resorting to it in dire circumstances.
Defensive: Shield of Faith [Conduit, Self, Potentia/Tutamen] - Using her Buckler as a Conduit, she can create a shield of electrical energy. Briefly defending her and her comrades against incoming attacks for as long as she can manage to keep the shield up. Allies must remain on her side of the shield, however to receive its protective blessings. The shield allowing attacks from her side to pass through.
Restorative: Healing Touch [Spell, Touch, Potentia/Sano] - Sharing parts of her life force, she can utilize her electrical powers to accelerate and promote healing of wounds and injuries over time. The severity of the injury determines the length of time required to complete the healing and how much of her life force is shared.
Utility: Clap of Thunder [Spell, Area, Potentia/Sonus] - She can emit a thunderous force wave from her body to blow away surrounding enemies, stun them, and knock them to the ground. Other than environmental damage, the spell itself does no bodily harm or damage.
Blinding Bolt [Spell, Cast, Potentia/Lux] - She can call down a single bright bolt of lightning to temporarily blind foes nearby. Giving her a brief window of opportunity to exploit in battle or to provide a quick and easy escape.
Wings of the Seraph [Spell, Self, Potentia/Aura] - Materializing a pair of angelic wings of lightning, she can levitate off of the ground. Allowing her unparalleled mobility and movement in any direction. She cannot however, fly. If launched into the air, she can maintain a slow descent/hover but that is the limit of her Wings.
Sacred Oath [Spell, Self, Potentia] - Charging her body with electrical power, she can temporarily boost her somewhat lacking martial abilities. Giving them increased force and the added effect of potentially stunning/paralyzing enemies. Using her Rapier as a Conduit, she can instead directly increase the power of her rapier's attacks. She cannot, however, use both the spell on herself and her weapon. Only one or the other.
Should she ever find herself disarmed, she is not at a complete disadvantage in combat. Though lacking in physical strength as she specializes in agility and speed, she uses a basic fighting style with simple kicks, punches, elbow/knee strikes supplemented by a simple understanding of counters. Should she ever encounter an opponent much larger and physically stronger than her, she can quickly find herself drained and overwhelmed in a prolonged engagement. Unable to withstand very many hits at all.
Bio: Hailing from the Northern Tundras of Chalcedony, she was birthed into a noble Elven family. The Delacroix, a Snow Elven sect of the Pantheist Church. She is the youngest of three siblings, having two older brothers. Being of noble blood, she was initially groomed as a lady of the Delacroix royal family to eventually succeed the throne as its next head. But, due to her rather divergent personality and views it was evidently decided that she were instead to become the Delacroix's Ambassador of Peace. Though, it was not the Delacroix' decision to send Marianne to the city of Ebb on a religious mission, that was of her own altruistic accord.
Standing at 5'8 and weighing in at a solid 120 Lbs, her body is thin and willowy. Naturally lithe and limber as gifted to most those of Elven blood. Her long and raven hair she typically keeps down, its length reaching the small of her back and as black as the night. In stark contrast, her complexion is fair and as pale as the snow. Her eyes a deep and dark brown, almost chocolate color. She is often seen with a warm everlasting smile and when not traveling in her battle garb, she favors wearing light flowing dresses and skirts. She typically adores wearing brighter colors if white isn't available. Across the bridge of her nose and on her cheeks are light brown freckles.
Sex: Male Age: 35 [appx.] Race: Arctic Dire Wolf Affinity: Gelum
Personality: Haughty, arrogant, distrusting of others; he is the cruel and despicable cold to Marianne's warmth and compassion. Conducting himself with a sense of deep pride, he comes off to others as having a holier-than-thou complex. Wary of any who aren't of his 'dearest Princess' bloodline, he is quick to anger and makes one think thrice before approaching Marianne. Any stranger that nears her he would snarl, growl, and gnash his sharp fangs at. He lacks Marianne's large heart and open-mind, and is terribly prejudiced against other races to the point of seething hatred and spite. As if he held a deep and everlasting grudge against those not of Elven blood.
In private, only Marianne sees the true side of him. That whatever the world throws at them, he is her most trusted confidant and companion. To him, she is his entire world and would delve into the very depths of the dark abyssal void for her. Bloodthirsty for the throats of any who dare harm his beloved elven Princess.
Greatest Love: His 'dearest Princess.' Motivation: To see his 'dearest Princess' and all of her aspirations fulfilled; To ensure that all of her life-long goals are accomplished, until the end of his days. Ultimately, he only wishes for her happiness.
Fighting Style: Against standard foes Ricard's great strength, speed and size makes him a terrifying and formidable enemy. Bound in thick strong muscle, sharp fangs with a powerful jaw that can crush rock, and a tough fur hide that can withstand even the most withering blows he primarily attacks by slamming himself headlong into opponents to ground them. Under his mass, he quickly executes his prey with his fangs. Snapping bone, ripping flesh, and removing the limbs of any poor soul that incites his wrath. For any foe that cannot be felled by conventional means, Ricard is extremely gifted at the use of magic. His sharp sense of smell, hearing, and vision giving him another edge in combat. When fighting or hunting alongside Marianne, he is never far off. Running distraction and causing chaos to bring attention to himself in order to keep Marianne safe. Even if it endangered his life, he would never allow so much as a scratch to graze Marianne's skin.
Offensive: Grim Fang [Spell, Self, Gelum] - Channelling his mana into his already ferocious maw, he coats his fangs in a coat of ice that directly increases the power of his bite attacks. To any unlucky soul unfortunate enough to survive his initial bite, they'll soon find themselves at a slow death. Their blood freezing in their veins. This spell is named aptly so, as allies who witnessed the use of this spell described it as the chilling grin of the Grim Reaper himself.
Arctic Javelin [Spell, Cast, Gelum] - Using the humidity within the surrounding air and freezing it, he can form up to a maximum of five [5] 'ice spears' to cast and impale enemies with. This spell cannot be used in arid, dry environments. The spears have slight tracking and homing abilities. The ice spears themselves are relatively fragile and can easily be defeated by armor, can be deflected, or destroyed mid-flight.
Paledrake's Breath [Spell, Area, Gelum] - Sacrificing a large amount of his mana pool, he can breathe a powerful arctic blast of magic that can freeze anything caught in its path for too long. The breath itself does no damage, but the true danger lies in the consequences of mobility loss..
Defensive: Frost Coat [Spell, Self, Gelum] - Coating himself in a coat of frost, he toughens his already thick fur hide to the point of where it is comparable to steel plate. At the cost of mobility, as he is heavier and moves slower, his gains a lingering aura that can slow the movements of enemies that come too close. His headbutts and body slams gain a very slight damage increase as his luxurious white fur have become icy spines.
Restorative: None.
Utility: Tongue of Babel [Spell, Self, Sonus/Cognito] - A rune on his forehead allows him to communicate in the language of others, mentally. Granting him the gift to communicate with other sentient species regardless of their native language. Whenever he 'speaks' the rune glows with his 'voice'.
Foreboding Howl [Spell, Area, Sonus] - Howling, he instills a sense of unease, fear, and apprehension in foes. Subconsciously attacking their morale and psyche. It was said that the greatest battle ever fought, was won before blows were ever traded.
Bio: In the Delacroix Royal Elven family, once a child has become of age they are assigned a personal vassal to become their guardian and assistant. Typically, children select from a roster of skilled and powerful Elven warriors. Forever different from others in her family, Marianne selected Ricard out of the pack of Dire Wolves that were typically kept as hunting companions.
Though the Delacroix Dire Wolves were treated as if they were royalty themselves, the notion was unheard of and her relatives attempted to dissuade Marianne. Unfortunately for them, their words fell upon deaf ears; they were only wasting their breath. Refusing to budge in her decision, Marianne was dissatisfied with the 'standard Elvish warriors'. Having forged a bond with Ricard whenever they would train or hunt together in the woods, she would have no other selected to be her bodyguard. And so, having no choice but to give into her demands, Ricard was elevated to his higher status as her personal guardian. Together ever since, wherever Marianne goes Ricard can be seen close by.
Appearance: On his hind legs, Ricard towers over most fully grown men. An immense 220 Lbs of glorious pure white fur, hide, and muscle. Eyes a bright and icy blue that bore into the depths of your soul, he has a bright blue rune atop his forehead that appears to be part of his fur naturally. Ricard tends to clear entire streets due to his gargantuan size alone. Much to Marianne's discontent, that is. Ricard however, couldn't be more pleased. The less people around Marianne, the better.
