OKAY, SOUNDS GOOD! -REVS CHAINSAW AND SLAMS WELDER'S MASK OVER FACE-

-Cackles maniacally-
give him strength

Who, for Luke and his growing hairem. Or for Shiro who's seriously about to just do a leap of faith over a sheer cliff edge?
Kuhaku Shiro - Airship Docks

Dryly swallowing, a nervous bead of sweat rolled down the side of Shiro's face as he stared over the precipice of the docks. He wasn't worried about the lake below, he adored playing in bodies of water. While he wasn't an olympic athlete, he was still fully confident in his swimming abilities. That wasn't the problem. Was it his confidence in his climbing abilities? Well, his body was hardy and strong, hell it had to be. Considering the abuse he puts it through both intentionally from training or unintentionally due to his clumsy nature he wouldn't have made it this far at Beacon if he couldn't take some physical strain. If he couldn't take a hit, he wouldn't have any ground to stand on for the gauntlet of physical burden morning sparring classes and the cruel torture at the hands of Professor Iderson and Ms. Vanhomrigh in practice class. He wasn't about to scale a mountain for funsies bare-handed with no tools. Even though he probably would have to do that because he hadn't thought that far ahead.

No. The problem was that his mind was its own worst enemy. The problem, was Shiro developing a new fear of extreme heights. Or, at least what he perceived to be 'extreme'. He was experiencing a sickly feeling of vertigo the longer the stared over the edge, a fretful look etched onto his facial features. He started to come up with excuses not to dive over the edge. Shoot, he forgot his towel. He didn't mind getting wet, but it was still an uncomfortable feeling sometimes. What if he didn't make it back in time to complete the repairs on his weapon, he could cause irreparable damage to Kladenets if he let it cook for too long. Truthly, that was impossible because he knew the metal could withstand a dip into an active volcano. He was feeling achy too. Practice class had each student pair up for what was called 'Basic Aura Control' and beat on each other for the remainder of the class. How long ago had he eaten? With sore body and full belly, the dunk into the lake below could end up nasty. There was also the fact of how in the hell he was going to make it back up to the docks. His mind rolled through excuse after excuse, unending.

There he stood, nothing but his trousers and arm wrappings. Goggles around his neck, small flashlight in his hand. He was in no way, shape, or form prepared for what he was about to do. His body felt like it was a statue, made of stone and ten times as heavy. White ears drooping, tail lazily sweeping at his ankles, was he really about to do this? Shiro didn't even really like Sapphire. He felt she thought the same. What did he owe her? What had she done for him? Sighing, he shook his head sadly. He really didn't want to do this.

"But, I still have to."
Frowning, he deeply inhaled and puffed out his chest.
"It was my fault she lost them."
Forcefully exhaling, he smacked his palms against the cheeks of his face.
"How would I feel in her place? If the roles were reversed and she caused me to lose Kladenets and Perun..."
Hopping in place to get the blood pumping and flowing, he started to hype himself up.
"I'd be pretty upset and hurt."
Stretching and popping a few joints, he limbered up.
"Come on, Kuhaku! Courage! Bravery! What's a 100-foot drop anyways?! What, like it'll kill you?!"
He froze.
"Y-yeah, probably. Especially if I land badly..."
Angry with himself for this whole situation, he frantically ruffled his white head of hair and let out an exasperated growl.

"GAAAH! DAMN IT! I DON'T WANNA!"

He dropped to his knees and punched at the ground repeatedly. Annoyed, he really didn't like the way things were looking. No mistake about it, he intended on jumping very soon. A few more minutes, and he'll just 'YOLO' and do it. It could even be fun. At the very least, it'll make for an exciting story to bring back.

Had to share.
@Onarax - Should I wait for Napoodle or go ahead and situate my tiger boy at the Airship docks?

Make me.

You will.

In the end.
Guess Who's working on a post (pun intended).

Die.

I meant to make a post yesterday but got distracted. I've got one more class today so I'll make it as soon as I get home. Promise.

Break your promise and you die.
Alright, Oswald's en route. Now Robert and Napoodle.
Kuhaku Shiro - After hours at the Armory

Staring into the viewing window of the massive walk-in furnace where Kladenets' spine was placed, Shiro removed his protective goggles and mask. Smiling as he slipped out his Scroll, he set a timer for two hours. Feeling productive, he set his hands on his hips and nodded affirmatively as the weapon part proceeded into its 'De-gassing' phase of its repairs. Turning on his heels, he started to make his way back to his dorm. Straightaway after classes let out, Shiro had prepped the damaged component of his blade. With the full intention of having it go through its longest process while he took care of a few other tasks on his list of things to do. He hoped that he could finally find the time to attempt to locate Sapphire's treasured heirlooms. By that time, he figured he'd be able to remove Kladenets from the furnace and set it aside to complete the remainder of the repairs some other time and day while he went to attend Gren's party. That was the plan, at least. Running through his plans again and again in his head, he made sure to have his priorities in order. The only real variable that he could foresee was the search for Sapphire's weapons. Two hours should be plenty of time, right? One hour in the water below, one hour along the cliffside. Should be more than enough time, right?

-Team SASG Dorm-

Door practically kicked open, Shiro stood with a big smile on his face. Happily humming as he walked over to his bunk and leaned against it as he thought of what he needed to bring and what not to bring. Ignoring Abel who peaceably sat reading, he began to rummage through his belongings. At the very least he needed something that would allow himself to see clear underwater, that purpose fulfilled by his swim goggles. Looking at them, he frowned. He hadn't found the time to relax and go swimming for one of his training sessions. He'd have to remember to do that in the future. Digging through his things, he figured all he needed then was a small handheld light that could work underwater. Simple enough, he had a rugged LED flashlight that he was positive that was rated for water-resistance up to 60 ft. Or something like that anyways. How deep was the lake again? Shiro shrugged. Nabbing a plastic bag to protect his Scroll with, Shiro stripped down to just his arm wrappings and trousers, leaving his discarded articles of clothing where they fell. Looking himself over, Shiro nodded and decided it was finally time to go 'diving'. Stuffing the flashlight and plastic bag-encased Scroll into his pockets, Shiro hung the swim goggles over his head and neck as he padded out of the dorm room. Bare-chested and bare-footed, Shiro slammed the door shut behind him. Cracking his neck and hopping in place, he figured the trip to the airship docks should be utilized to warm his body up. There was no telling how cold that water was going to be and he needed to be ready. Crouching down on all fours and stretching the major muscle groups of his body as best he could in that short amount of time, Shiro then exploded into a sprint towards the docks. He had to do this all within a certain time frame after all.
