Hm. Collabs can be toxic to player activity it seems...

-Taps chin- Hmm..
IC, I don't think it would be much of an argument before basically everyone disagreed. <.<

Then Marianne would stand alone in her beliefs.

EMBARRASSED, BUT UNSHAKEABLE!
<Snipped quote by harinezumikouken>

These bandits have:
1) Sacked and looted villages. There's no prize for guessing what happened to the inhabitants.
2) Killed the forces sent to defeat them before.
3) Used a dying man as a messenger, and another injured one as bait. Probably done this sort of thing before.
4) Tried to kill us.

Whilst there might be cause for a trial afterwards, taking prisoners right now is the worst time to do it. Also, would it be just? Well... yes, in the perfectly legal sense; they're outlaws and we were tasked with dealing with them. Also why I don't think any of them are getting away with a slap on the wrist... or axe on the wrist.

And in the 'don't keep enemies at our back' one.

Marianne has a very strong sense of justice, almost naively so as you may see. Which is why there would be an argument until Fanilly diffused it with a direct order. Realistically, I would agree with you on nearly all points. But I'm speaking in the terms of my character and how she would act and think. She is willing to give even the most heinous murderer a second chance at regaining their humanity and pardon their previous criminal acts. xD
Yeah, anything Marianne thinks or any which way she feels would be immediately disregarded at Captain Fanilly's order.

But I must ask. Which version of justice are you?

OVER JUSTICE!?

Or JUSTICE?!
The mission is to just 'take care' of the Bandits, right? I mean, wouldn't it be unjust to just outright execute the unarmed and harmless Bandits? Wouldn't it say more for the Iron Roses if they kept them as prisoners to be put to fair trial or even put them through a rehabilitation process to make them into functioning members of society?
All about dat justice and fair treatment of others.

What, exactly, do you think is going to happen to the sort of bandits that use innocent people as bait in a trap and actually killed the soldiers sent after them? No point drawing it out.

She would fight for them remain alive and potentially be rehabilitated. If anything, she would ultimately request the bandit prisoners be sent to her home in the countryside for the rehabilitation if no one else would agree with her. To be taken under her care and the care of the Delacroix family.
Probably kill. They're going to die anyway and, being common bandits, would be a waste of food.

That's an argument with Marianne waiting to happen.
@harinezumikouken Apologies for keeping you waiting there, I'll find some way of explaining Rolans silence, like a spontaneous aneurysm or seizure from his head wound, or... something like that.

It's all cool mate, if anything I feel bad for advancing without waiting longer.

Though, if Rolan pushed any more Marianne would've said something along the lines of...

Looking back with a smirk, "How could I, a chivalrous Iron Rose knight, allow one injured such as yourself walk. Whilst I, unharmed, take comfort in riding horseback?"

And if he continued to push? She'd just pull noble blood and rank over him and order him to shut up. xD
Return to the dirt, zombie-Chan

That's gonna be messy for the Doctor.
