Holy fucking shit, the dead come alive!
Marianne Delacroix

Marianne glared at the lightning mage, her eyes burning as she locked eye contact with him. Angry with the fact that he was somehow lucky enough to catch her blade, the enchanted gauntlets he wielded protecting him from having his arm sliced clean through. Eying the gauntlets, she reminded herself to possibly have her own equipment enchanted at a later day. If she could somehow store part of her mana or even inscribe her spells to them, that would give her a much better edge in future conflicts. For the time being, Marianne strained and struggled against the man's strength, unable to match him and break her sword free from his grasp.

Gritting her teeth, she didn't offer any response to the mage when he realized she too utilized the power of lightning and made his threat to her. Instead, she smirked and by the time the corners of her lips tugged to make the expression, she was blessed by the Goddesses. By the grace of Reon and thanks in part to the Nem assassin, a thrown knife distracted the lightning mage and he slackened his hold on her sword, freeing it. Wasting little to no time, Marianne capitalized on the moment.

With two swift slashes, Marianne attempted to cut at the mage's arms where his gauntlets could not protect him looking to quite literally disarm the man. Without his precious gauntlets, he could be close to harmless unless he hid some other trick up his sleeve. With her free left hand, Marianne quickly stepped forward into a gut punch to stun the mage. Stamping her heel at his feet to pin him to the spot, she then tossed her sword into the air to swap hands. With her right hand now free, she reached at her bow quiver and drew an arrow. With a lunge forward, she aimed to spear its arrowhead through the side of the mage's neck.
Hope you feel better, boss.
Right here.

It would be filler only if Marianne was standing around unprepared to do anything fighty like she was last post.

This has been a very cautious set of posts. xD

What, mine?

Well, Marianne doesn't like spooky thing is her biggest weaknesses are big brutes like Sir Garrett and other more adept spellcasters/mages.

The only trash post is meaningless filler. <.<

Was that not my post? xD
Trash post, but finally posted.
Marianne Delacroix

The look of shock on Marianne's face when the little girl revealed herself to be Dame Tyaethe would've been priceless, had anyone paid attention to catch it. She knew the girl was maddeningly familiar, only it wasn't until it was blatantly spelled out for her had it registered in her mind. That explained the sword, vaguely remembering seeing an older Dame Tyaethe in some oil painting somewhere. But, shaking her head, she refocused her attention to finishing her spell cast. Ignoring the bolts of lightning snapping at the ground dangerously close to her, she quietly uttered her lengthy incantation as she slowly wiped her white veil and hand across the flat of her blade. Imbuing the metal with the mighty power of lightning as it glowed with an intense white light, wreathed with electricity just as Dame Sult rushed past her with her own flame-empowered weapon. With each of them having selected their own foes, Marianne already had her heart set on the lightning caster as her target. Crouching low as she settled into a sprint-ready stance with her blade at the ready, Marianne then took off in an erratic an unpredictable pattern as she closed the distance. Once within range, she began her lethal barrage of thrusting attacks. Determined to not allow the mage breathing room to cast another single spell. All she needed was one misstep or mistake from the caster, and she would cut clean through him.
