Everyone's posting about those cool games they're playing right now in their statuses. Me? I'm wasting my life and time with The Sims 4.

Why is there so much salt in the statuses, like of all the things we could be complaining right now.

There comes a point in your life when you really have to kinkshame someone and question in their tastes.

1. Introduce Yourself
So uh, hi. My name is Haru Nyan (Ignore the name, it has a long story.), I have no idea why you even bothered to stumble in my profile but hey, whatever I guess.
I come from the Philippines so if you're wondering about my timezone, it's UTC+8:00. I'm more of a Casual roleplayer, although I have tried Advanced in the past, I just found more comfort in the Casual side of the spectrum. When it comes to roleplays, I usually like Modern ones, Fantasy is also cool or better yet, Modern Fantasy! High School RP's are kind of a guilty pleasure of mine, there's just something nostalgic about them that just brings me back. I probably won't do a Fandom RP unless it's something I am highly knowledgeable about, also I'm more of a Follower than a Leader, so uh, don't expect me to be a good GM. I'm not very forceful you see, and not really good about asserting myself. I probably won't do 1x1 RP's, I'm more of a group person you see. Smut? Never. My writing skills become piss-poor when it comes to smut.
As for stuff I enjoy, when it comes to music, I kinda prefer in-game music. I especially like the songs in rhythm games, BEMANI games come to mind, especially DanceDanceRevolution and Pop'n music. Anime? I don't really watch anime, not to say that I hate it or anything, I just don't really have the time. Death Parade is really cool though, the OP is catchy~. Studio Ghibli films are also neat, Totoro is so cute~<3 Manga? Do Doujinshi count? Those are as close as I get to reading manga, but then again they're more close to fanfiction than manga so, probably not. Video games? Who doesn't play video games nowadays? I love RPG's but don't really like FPS games, Fighting games are also neat, but the only one I've really invested in is Skullgirls. (My main team is Parasoul/Double/Eliza btw), Visual Novels are also something I like, especially bara ones (Big surprise there.) I'd name specifics of the stuff I've played but that would take up like, half of this bio.
Age: 17
Appearance:Enjoying solitude...Arcana: Hermit
Personality: A rather gloomy and brooding person by nature, Ayano doesn't really talk much and prefers it stays that way. When she's outside-a thing she does so very rarely-you'll often see her staring at the ground when walking and she usually has a troubled or discontent look on her face. One thing she keeps on demanding is for people to leave her alone, as she prefers to lock herself up in her own room. On the Internet however, her personality becomes a complete inverse of what she is, adopting an alias known as Yanary who stalks image boards and art-sharing sites, she herself runs a blog that is mostly filled with video game content. As Yanary, she masquerades as someone who is very cheerful, upbeat and overall a nice person who welcomes others with an open heart.
Equipment/Skills: Ayano is rather efficient in the world of computers, she has some basic understanding of hacking and coding but don't expect her to plant or create a virus somewhere.
Background: Ayano grew up in a simple home, she had the basics a family had: A mother, a father and a sibling or two. She had friends, was excelling in school and overall everything was fine.
Things changed during middle school though, as Ayano faced the cruelty of bullying. She was practically the center of it all, they'd talk behind her back and would even threaten to kill her if she didn't do something that appealed to them. Eventually, she took it all to heart and considered herself to be the worst person to ever live off the face of the Earth. She didn't fight back, it'd only get worse. She tried telling a teacher, it didn't do much. She told her parents, it only lasted a day.
As time went on, she became bitter and thought that her only real friends were the ones she made online. They listened to every problem she had and thought she was a good friend. She retreated into the Internet whenever she had a bad day and would just forget everything that happened.
Nowadays she's heard some freaky rumor about teenagers suddenly changing personalities and how its connected to this 'Mirror World' she heard about...

Making a mental note of everything Joseph had said up until now, Kenta returned his deck back into his bag as he listened once more to the young man's lecture. When he made a mention of helping him fix his deck sometime soon, the boy gave him a big and wide smile. "You...You would...do that?" There was a rush of giddy happiness evident in his face, he would love it if someone helped him tune his deck, Kenta in turn asked if there was anything he could do for the other boy, all the while still muttering words of thanks and praise. "If there was...way I could repay you, then I give!"
Oops, there goes his English again, but in this state it would arguably understandable. On top of the world? Could he really win this one? Maybe not even 1st place, as long as he got somewhere. All of this is just making the boy elated and eager to start the tournament proper. "Do you think we are close?" He asked.
While he couldn't exactly understand everything he had to say, Kenta listened on earnestly to Joseph's tale. So it was gift, how touching. It made Kenta a little envious as his friends-Duelists or not-never really gave him a card, something that he would treasure as well. When Joseph had finished his little story he asked Kenta the same question he gave him earlier.
The boy scratched the back of his head, trying to explain that his deck would be no match against Joseph's. But, after a while he finally gathered the courage to search his bag and show his deck. Pulling out the stack of cards, he handed it over to boy.
"It...It's not much, but I use Gladiator Beasts! I always thought that...Beast-Warriors could use more...attention." Kenta scratched one of his cheeks and tried to avoid eye contact from Joseph, he just knows that his deck would lose in a manner of seconds compared to the other.
Poor little Miwa is all alone in the limo.
So far, I'm liking the direction of where this RP is heading.
Can't wait to see how the fate of the world will depend on a children's card game this time.
When Kenta asked Joseph what decked he used, the latter went on a long explanation on how his deck worked. All of this was far too complex for him to understand and he stared on with a blank expression and his mouth agape. And what's this "Star Seraph" he was mentioning? Is it some sort of new archetype? The boy thought to himself. And what was it's relation to the "tellarknight" archetype? He wondered.
Fortunately for him, Joseph had realized what he had done and instead of telling Kenta more of his deck. He decided to show it to him instead. He looked on as the other boy took out his deck and began to show the contents within. At first he was still more or less confused, but once the pictures became clear, so did everything else.
"Star...Seraph? I think you mean...Holy Lightning, or...is that what...they call them in English?" Kenta exclaimed, he did recall that in other parts of the globe, some card names were different from theirs. "But, you are correct! Deck is very...strong too, I think...it won a tournament once..." He couldn't remember the exact details of that tournament, but judging by how it won, it would seem that it's no pushover. Making a note in his mind, Kenta would be careful if he ever has to fight Joseph.
A sense of relief filled Kenta's senses as Joseph warmly welcomed him, he's not even in the tournament proper yet but he's already made a new friend! Something which he was happy for, even with the language barrier making things difficult for them. The other boy promptly explained that he cannot speak in his language, much like Kenta cannot speak theirs. It seems that aside from strong duelists, the English language will be one of the boy's challenges.
As Joseph apologized for his excitement and hoping that they can get along nonetheless. Besides, there was bound to be more Japanese duelists like himself, he was sure of it! With a tournament this big after all. With the thought in his mind, Kenta became excited once more...Eager to start battling others. Meanwhile, the boy he was with offered him a soda and he happily accepted, taking a few sips from the beverage.
Deciding that getting to know him better would provide a boost, he tried to ask a few questions of his own. "You duelist, correct? What...deck you use?" he asked Joseph.
