1. Introduce Yourself
So uh, hi. My name is Haru Nyan (Ignore the name, it has a long story.), I have no idea why you even bothered to stumble in my profile but hey, whatever I guess.
I come from the Philippines so if you're wondering about my timezone, it's UTC+8:00. I'm more of a Casual roleplayer, although I have tried Advanced in the past, I just found more comfort in the Casual side of the spectrum. When it comes to roleplays, I usually like Modern ones, Fantasy is also cool or better yet, Modern Fantasy! High School RP's are kind of a guilty pleasure of mine, there's just something nostalgic about them that just brings me back. I probably won't do a Fandom RP unless it's something I am highly knowledgeable about, also I'm more of a Follower than a Leader, so uh, don't expect me to be a good GM. I'm not very forceful you see, and not really good about asserting myself. I probably won't do 1x1 RP's, I'm more of a group person you see. Smut? Never. My writing skills become piss-poor when it comes to smut.
As for stuff I enjoy, when it comes to music, I kinda prefer in-game music. I especially like the songs in rhythm games, BEMANI games come to mind, especially DanceDanceRevolution and Pop'n music. Anime? I don't really watch anime, not to say that I hate it or anything, I just don't really have the time. Death Parade is really cool though, the OP is catchy~. Studio Ghibli films are also neat, Totoro is so cute~<3 Manga? Do Doujinshi count? Those are as close as I get to reading manga, but then again they're more close to fanfiction than manga so, probably not. Video games? Who doesn't play video games nowadays? I love RPG's but don't really like FPS games, Fighting games are also neat, but the only one I've really invested in is Skullgirls. (My main team is Parasoul/Double/Eliza btw), Visual Novels are also something I like, especially bara ones (Big surprise there.) I'd name specifics of the stuff I've played but that would take up like, half of this bio.
Money is always a confusing prospect if it's not your native's money. Yen still confuses me to this day tbh. Those J-RPG's just made it all the more confusing... Does Yen have more value than Peso or less? Does it work vice-versa? Do Dollars have more value than Yen?
Managing to sleep comfortably and early thanks to their little feast last night, Ayano woke up as her cousin was still asleep. Grinning to herself, she sneakily stood up from her position and started to trifle around her bag, searching around for something...After poking around a few times, searching the various pockets, Ayano managed to produce a portable video game console from within! It was the latest model to boot! Somewhere in the distance, a fanfare of music could be heard...Or maybe that was all in her head. With a piece of technology in her hands after a long time she booted up a game that she had brought along with her and began to merrily tap the buttons away. Thinking to herself this might not have been the best of idea's but shrugging to herself nonetheless, after all Chiaki will be none the wiser.
Her eyes not even straying to the console's screen for even a second, she stealthily moved back to her futon and returned to her original position; facing away from Chiaki. Ayano turned the volume down enough so that only she would be able to hear such faint sounds. Losing track of the time as she enjoyed her gaming session, the young woman was taken aback when she heard Chiaki speak up, mentioning the prospect of playing something...Ayano could swear that everything shattered at that moment and shakily, she replied back, "N-No! Of...Of course not!" she said while quickly shoving the console underneath her pillow. After that little charade, she faced her cousin who said something about visiting the arcade for today. "That sounds great! I just hope you can put up a challenge!! Her tone changing from apathetic to cocky in a minute. With a sudden incentive filling inside of her, Ayano quickly began to prepare for their trip, not even caring if she properly brushed teeth or did her hair correctly.

The sounds of various games and sound effects filled Ayano's ears. A brilliant fusillade and assortment of colors entering her vision. Ayano felt right at home, if there was Heaven on Earth, this place would be one of them. With an uncharacteristically cheeky grin on her face, she faced her cousin and asked, "Well? Don't just stand there! Let's get to it! I can't wait to absolutely dominate you!!
Eh Sho said he'll just roll dices with the proficiency and what tier the character is at. So Idk if you guys even have to roleplay out the actions of the character. And yeah that example shows it's kind of ??? at the combo parts.
Well yeah there's that. Plus it'd be really confusing if some of the others don't really know said terms...Or the game itself.
I dunno, it would be kind of cool RP'ing how a fighting game match would turn out...But I can also see it being all really redundant and kind of anti-climactic. Like:
Ayano chose Filia and Kami chose Parasoul. It was a one-on-one fight so both of them had the same amount of health and basically dealt the same amount of damage to each other. Ayano thought she'd have the upper hand by choosing a rushdown character like Filia, but if there's one thing she knows from all those gameplay videos, it's that Parasoul is absolutely lethal when mastered. Their chosen stage was Nightmare Crest, she picked it just because of the overall weirdness of the stage, but that was nothing compared to Gehenna. As the battle began Ayano thought she could set up a quick juggle by using c.LP x2 -> c.LK -> c.MK -> s.HP -> j.MP -> j.MK -> Air Dash -> j.HP -> j.HK but she was caught off guard when Kami's Parasoul started the flow of battle by using Silent Scope, hitting Ayano's Filia and forcing her into a cripple state, his character started to set up a combo of s.LK x2 -> s.MP -> c.HP -> j.HP -> j.HK -> s.LK x2 -> s.HP x2 -> Napalm Quake. That certainly took out a hefty amount out of her health...
At first it would be awesome yeah, but then you'd have to describe how they basically kept on repeating combos and all that.
