Hey, so even though it seems as if you already have four members in your interest check, me and my friend was wondering if you'd be accepting two civilian survivors?
After we are full, I may allow more survivors to be found (Which can be helpful too, like an example being if we go through any labs, and we find a scientist, they might be able to navigate the area better, have extra gear like medpacks or stasis packs. Or if we find another Engineer they may have special weapons or gear)
Profession: Titan Security Officer History: Taylor was never very fond of being a bruteful or brash security officer, but her father served as one for many years and she looked up to him. Later on after always recognizing her father as a hero and great father for taking care of her after her mother died, they were transferred aboard the Titan Space Station. However soon after the transfer, her father had to leave the security job due to his age, but mostly because he was dying due to an illness he had kept away from her. As he was her father, guardian, and caretaker, he didn't want to look weak in front of his daughter. Now gone, she's been looked at to take his place, and fill his shoes. She even wears his old suit which is much too large for her. It wasn't too hard to get into the Security detail as the other officers trusted her, the ones who knew her father anyway. And also the fact her father encouraged her to become Security as the benefits were good to live off of and it wasn't a hard job. Taking her to the firing ranges, practice runs, and other drills needed for the detail, she grew to know how to get through it rather quickly.
Just before it got quiet on the Titan Space Station, just before the famous (or infamous) Isaac Clarke awoke and escaped... just before the darkness became scary... it wasn't quiet. It was loud. Full of screams, glass shattering, items thrown, and the sounds of the Necromorphs roared in every room. It was chaos, bodies being mutilated, people being attacked, bones shattering, There was no taking back the space station, the only thing left to do was to escape, before the madness took you over, too.
The jist? A surviving group amongst the chaos tries to escape, following maps and routes similar to the ones Isaac takes later on. I do consider this roleplay serious, and by serious I only mean, your character can die. However, I'm going to exclude any madness and craziness as also in the movies and some people in the games didn't go mad and stayed alright. Whether it was because they weren't weak willed, or immune, or whatever it was. There will be crazed people, but our group won't go insane. And if/when someone dies, the player may continue in the roleplay as another survivor found along the way. However, this part is where I will include madness. I doubt it will happen but this is the way we will combat stupidity... if a player causes their character to be too stupid and get killed too much... the more characters the player introduces... the more crazed and useless they will be until they become murderous, to the point they will play an enemy in the game.

Sweet! We have all the people we need. I'll make the ICC in a little bit. You guys should figure out what yer roles are. Only 1 other Security person (You will wear the security rig obviously haha), 1 Engineer (With Engineer suit) and 1 Civilian OR 2 Civilians.
I have an idea for a roleplay that is inside the universe of Dead Space. And in this no one needs to know anything about Dead Space to join it, just understand science fiction stuff and enjoy it. This roleplay will take place where Dead Space 2 takes place, except it is right before nothing is left. We will be roleplaying on Titan Station just as the Necromorphs are taking over, essentially we'll be "in the heat of it." Our mission is to get off of the station, obviously.
I have also found maps for Dead Space 2 locations that we'll be taking (Thank goodness, I was giving up hope and think we'd have to go on the Ishimura. Not really a problem, but I like the tech in Dead Space 2 more). So in having those maps, not everyone might have a map nor know about the location. (i.e. off limits areas)
There will be at max 2 security personnel, and I will be one of them. With a max of 4 players that will leave 1 Engineer and 1 Civilian, or 2 Civilians. Equipment can almost be anything as long as it is relevant to your profession.
How would the game have went if they had an Energy Sword (Halo) or Lightsaber (Star Wars)? Obviously Lightsaber might have made it a little over the top, but if you made any type of melee sword for the game I think it would have made the challenge a little easier. Not just that you wouldn't need ammo anymore to shoot off their limbs or anything, but the Necromorphs are rarely a ranged class of enemy (not including the ranged classes of necromorphs) as you mostly encounter. And those of us that have played, from experience, an elbow to a necromorphs face isn't deadly... unless they are dead and you want to knock off their head right? Haha...
