The two who took the three to the hospital was fast, calling ahead and alerting the staff of incoming injured students. As soon as they got there, they each were rushed into private rooms to be taken care of. One of the nurses quickly looked for identification and found two id’s, Michiko’s and Roy’s that pointed back to komei Academy, both had the same dorm room phone and they quickly called it to inform the dorm mother of the situation.

Quickly finding out there was nothing physically wrong with Michiko save for bruises and small cuts, they moved on to Roy, who had multiple lacerations and bitemarks. Along with a fracture on his face, they went to work healing him.

However, With Kaida, they did not know how her quirk worked, and while her hands and neck looked severely burned, They did what they could with burn cream and ice packs, but a moment later they noticed it was getting even more worse. They stopped not knowing what to do more at the moment, except give her something for the pain. At least till they get an idea who she was and how to treat her properly.

Roy had been phasing in and out of consciousness after reaching the hospital, one second he’d wake up in the arms of one of the sky knights. The next minute he was on a bed being rushed towards the emergency room with an iv in his arm. It certainly was an unpleasant experience that he just wanted to be over as the doctors went to work on him. Roy hated the hospital as it brought back too many dark memories of his childhood. So much that in the middle of surgery he began panicking and thrashing around hysterically. He then felt a sharp pain in his arm as they injected him with something to calm his nerves.

After that everything had went black.

Retha sat down at her desk with her brand-new hero suit that completely nullified her curse of a quirk, for once the heat in the dorm was livable and even still it didn’t stop the woman from being probably the most intense woman to be around. She had just assigned Momo a new room, it hadn’t been a good ten minutes before she was destroying school property much like the girl that came before her; Retha saw fit to give Momo a stern talking as well as a good finger wagging. She was nearly halfway done when the phone rang, Retha dropped the conversation completely, but wouldn’t let the poor girl leave, forcing her to sit on her knees and wait. Sh e screamed, grabbed Momo by the collar and ran out of the door nearly knocking it off its hinges.

“Wait, wait where are we going?!” Momo asked, prompting Retha to explain “So why do I have to come along?!”

While the nurse from the hospital was transferred to the school nurse to get records of the two students, the dorm mother was so frantic she wasn’t able to ask her about the third patent. The school nurse wasn’t able to give any information because of the amount of students she’s had, she couldn’t be sure who it was. However that changed when a tall man, standing at 6’5” and 300 or so pounds of muscle. In a regular suit and tie walked in asking about information about the kids who were just brought in.

He quickly mentioned that a white haired girl with purple highlights possibly with black scales needed special treatment. Revealing her name and identity.

He was brought to the room where she was and told the staff to immediately cover her with heat lamps and hot packs. Wrapping them around her wounds. Explaining her opposite effect to cold. While calm and collected, it was clear he was worried about the girl.

When the nurses left after completing what he told them to do, He stood there, unbuttoning his jacket and taking it off. Folding it just so over the arm of a chair in the room. his arms crossed in front his chest as he stood silently, watching over Kadia.

Not much long later, another set of nurses came in with Michiko, who was still out and placed her in the bed next to Kadia. The man raised his eyebrow for but a moment when one of them turned to him and said, she was with them in the attack, we were asked by the school to place them all together.

He simply nodded and looked at the new girl. Her face was extremely familiar as well… he shook his head… what are the odds.

Kaida looked on with horror as Takeshi was eaten alive! It happened so quickly it didn’t seem real. As the arm flopped onto the ground she yelped and buried her face into Roy’s warm chest. She didn’t see what happened next as she was freaking out that a boy she knew was just brutally murdered in front of her. Why did this have to happen, why!? She started to feel even worse that she just sat there, useless. Not being able to help Takeshi. She could have, she was stronger than everyone here physically. But those shadow creations...they hurt so badly… She should have just ignored the pain.

She yelped once again when Roy picked her up. Not realizing what was happening. She was still in shock as he tried to make it to the exit, but that was blocked as well. Roy seemed to instantly know what to do and laid her down and quickly made a cylinder to protect them. The air inside was so warm it was soothing to her wounds. Like being wrapped in a blanket that just came out of the dryer.

She looked up at Roy when he asked if she was not hurt anymore… Her eyes still filled with tears from before, as she looked down at her hands, unlatching herself from him she buried her arms against her stomach and wrapped them slightly in her blouse. She sniffed and simply nodded...lying as she did. As her hands were throbbing still.

“They’re gonna kill us...aren't they? “ She asked suddenly… her eyes blank of emotion now, the shock and knowledge of the grave situation they were in was finally sinking in.

Kadia looked up at Aurelia as she asked if she was ok… her eyes were blurry from the tears streaming from her eyes. She Shook her head barely, as her hands were numb, yet felt like they were burning at the same time. She looked in horror as she could see her hands were black with her scales, despite her trying to cover them up with her quirk. She could see her pink skin on her forearm, and from there to her fingers, where her hands were holding the wolf, was black. It looked like a layer of skin was burnt off honestly. Then to top that off, she could see even her scales were discolored slightly from the cold.

She was lost in her mind as she was trying to ignore the pain and was startled as someone touched her face. Her eyes shot open as she tensed up. She saw Roy over her now, wiping the tears from her eyes. She pulled her hands against her stomach and turned away slightly to hide them. Even though she wasn’t thinking straight with the pain, it was instinced now to hide it.

He started speaking to her, and she really didn’t hear him, it wasn’t registering in her brain what he was saying. But when he pulled her into his arms and held her against his body, she curled up even more. The heat did feel good, and it did help. Slowly her brain finally worked through what Roy said and she let out a breath of relief. She didn’t know what to say really...nothing could be said right now...their friends where fighting for their lives and she couldn’t do anything...why did she even want to become a hero. Her first real fight and shes worthless. Less than worthless. She was a burden.

She peaked over Roy’s arm when he yelled saying that Takeshi was being overwhelmed. Her eyes wide at seeing the scene unfold. Yet she couldn’t move. Fear had taken a hold of her. She pushed herself even more into Roy, her hands gripping his clothes. Forgetting that her nails were claws now, and surely must of scratched him while doing so. Her eyes sealed shut and she started to sob more. I’m s-s-orry… she whispered. She was sorry for being so worthless...that takeshi was now dying, Michiko and Riena were hurt, and Roy as well, and he couldn't help because he was helping her… She had no right to be a hero.

Kadia looked to Riena, Michiko and Roy as they were fighting...Reina already hurt and roy was helping her out with bandages.Michko was holdiing her own for a bit but was soon taken down by her pair of wolves. Before she could help her though she noticed the two aiming for herself had gotten back up and merged into a two headed one, bigger than her!

She could feel the cold coming off of them and was terrified. Cold was her one and true weakness. It hurt her like fire would hurt others. She backed up a few steps, it was this time that a woman was thrown into the alley with another masked man telling her she was in over her head. She suddenly recognized that the woman was Aurelia! Wasn’t that Acion’s older sister? A pro hero?! If she couldn’t fight these men what could she do?

Visibly shaking with fear and also from the cold fog around them, was when the larger two headed wolf then attacked, She ducked down as the wolf lept over her, missing her by mere inches. She didn’t have a moment to breath though as it whipped around to come at her once again. Despite her mind telling her to not grab the wolf...she did. Grabbing onto the thick of the right heads mane, to stop it the other head from getting closer.

She screamed in pain as the cold started to burn her hands, despite the scales on them now. She wrestled with the beast for a moment, feeliing the sudden taste of iron in her mouth as she bit her lip to try to ignore the pain, pushing herself through the pain and lifting the animal and slamming it heads first into the wall next to her. No longer being able to hold on she stumbled back, tripping over her own feet and heels and falling onto her back. Cradling her arms to her chest and rolling over to her side, crying from the pain she rarely felt...blood dripping from her mouth.

It was all a blur for Kaida after the bus hit the building. While Reina protected them from the brunt of it, she had got up and tripped over her own chair. Knocking her head on a table coming down. While not in her hybrid form, she was more susceptible to pain...and quite frankly, she tended to get hurt more than usual. She could feel someone's arms wrap around her waist and help her up. She looked up as her eyes were semi blurry and noticed it was Takeshi and Michiko. She had no time to be blushing, or embarrassed as Michiko helped her out of the restaurant while takeshi stayed behind for a moment. Perhaps he was going to help the people in the bus. She probably would have been a better choice because of her immunity to fire. But before she could say anything he was following them out.

Once outside she got a creepy feeling crawling up her spine. Where was all the customers? Why was it so smoky? The fire was in the front of the building. Michiko froze and started to shake. When Kaida looked at her, she looked like she saw a ghost. She looked to where Michiko was looking and saw a single silhouette standing there, he then started to speak. His demonic voice sent chills down her spine, but he was speaking to a Kesh and Ko...it only took her mind to realize. Was he speaking pet names of Takeshi and Michiko? This guy knew them?!

She saw that they were all in the alley now, and now the owner seemingly disappeared. Roy was standing by Reina who was coughing from the smoke. Takeshi had his swords drawn already after coming out of the restaurant. As if confirming that he knew this man.

He handed one sword to Michiko who took it in her left hand and glanced at her. As if asking through her eyes if she was alright to stand. Kaida nodded and as she decided to turn into her hybrid form under her dress, the wolves attacked. She almost didn’t have enough time to change as she threw a punch at the closest wolf, the creature yelped and and flew hard into the second one right behind it. Sending them both rolling back.

That’s when she felt a slight burn on her hand… These wolves were ICE COLD! This was her weakness! She started to get alot more worried now.

Kaida looked slightly puzzled as if she didn’t understand the concept of Noodles in a broth… The language barrier seeming to take effect now. She pulled her head back at Michiko’s reaction to her not knowing what ramen was. She grew red in the face and lowered her head Trying to think, slowly she tried to decipher the words in her head.

So it’s like... She popped her head up in making a connection.
French onion noodle soup? She said without realizing she said it in french. When she did she looked even more embarrassed.
So I don’t know the words….” She said, her accent becoming more and more prevalent as her nerves took over. If only Jett was here to translate…..

She looked down as they walked, trying to calm herself.

Kaida was actually taken back at how forceful Sarge was in aiming his apparent dislike for Takeshi. She looked at the tall dark haired boy in a curious light. From what she had seen in class and the exercise, and what she saw when he was around his sister, he was a gentleman and focused upstanding student. Mysterious for sure, but careful and worried about his sister.

So why did Sarge look like he was about to wrestle with Takeshi, and why did Takeshi get irritated at the accusations? She was surprised Riena said something as well. But she hit the points she would have said directly on the head. Especially Kadia’s own quirk. She believed it was far more dangerous than anyone at school at the moment. They even knew her father was a villian yet she was allowed to attend...so what did that say about Takeshi?

As they began to walk again she pulled her head back in surprise as she didn’t notice Roy slowing down to walk next to her and spoke to her. She reddened with embarrassment at being slightly scared at the fact of Roy simply asking a question.

”Um… sorry… I was just taken back at Sarges reaction to Takeshi… Made me think of things… “ She glanced at him in the eye for a moment before picking up her pace a little. She looked to Reina whom was a quiet girl, and she really didnt know that much about her... so she looked over at her and walked with her head forward to gain her attention politely. “So…...what is Ramen?” She asked trying to change the subject...but clearly in the tone of her voice and how she pronounced it in her heavy accent, she didn’t know what this food was.

The last few days were tense for Kaida. Thankfully no one really asked her about her quirk. Except roy, But Dulga managed to help her on that one. Now she was contemplating on actually leaving the dorm to go get some items from the stores...but she had no one to go with. She half debated to not go. She even got dressed up for it and everything! Wearing a cute long flowy skirt and heels, with a nice white blouse. She sat on her bed looking quite pathetic really. Kinda bummed out about the situation...even more irritated that Dulga would still spar with that spoiled brat Mina after everything that happened.

She even asked Jett to go with her, but he wasn’t feeling well with his migraine, which had gotten even worse in the past few days that he couldn’t really leave his room. But he did promise for rain check. Though he was speaking more to her so she couldn’t complain! He really warmed up after the fight, before he saw the footage, and even after.

She felt her face warm at the thought of spending more time with Jett when she heard Michiko Yelling at Reina asking her to come shopping with her and Takeshi. She perked up, perhaps she could ask if she could tag along!

She hurried off her bed and went into the hall. Peeking her head around her door frame and looking at Michiko… Hey… I kinda overheard you’re going into town? Do you mind if I come along?

Michiko glanced over and gave her a huge smile. ”Of course! The more the merrier! Reina is changing from what I can hear.” She giggled after hearing some thumping noises of bouncing around in Reina’s room.

Kadia smiled as she realized how easy that was. It helped that Michiko was super friendly and went out of her way to make friends with her earlier in the week. She zipped back into her room and grabbed her phone and cute tiny purse with a tiny strap that was literally big enough to hold her phone, wallet, and a few key essential makeup items.

She slipped the strap over her right shoulder and exited her room.
Thanks! I’ve been meaning to get to the store...but I didn’t want to go alone...I wouldn’t know where to go. She said to Michiko as she walked over to her.

Your first time!? Well we will have to hit a bunch of different stores then! Some cafe’s and bakeries… ya know the places any self respecting girl should know.”

It was this time that Riena came out of her room and Kaida came into view. ” Hi Riena-chan! Soooo apparently Kaida-Chan needed some items, you don’t mind if she tags along right?”

Kaida was disappointed that Yukari couldn’t explain much about him. But there wasn’t much she could do about now. Yukari then spoke to her, about being quick and catch them off guard. She nodded,

”Of course, I’m fast, but I doubt we would have enough time to set a trap…” She said doubtfully.
he event started and she nodded as she started to follow Dulga, She was surprised on how quiet she was despite all her gear. She would have to ask her to help her on that later. It would always be a good skill to have. Once they found a building for Dulga to use, she again reiterated what to do.
Got it... She said with a smile to Dulga. “Let’s go Yukari!” She added with some nervous excitement, For this was her first mock battle. Having only trained in sparring sessions before this. This will be a lot more difficult, especially with all the unknown factors.
With her hybrid form, she was able to run alot faster than a normal girl her size. With this extra strength she had much more power in her legs. However she couldn’t run too much faster than Yukari so she had to slow down a bit.
Soon they came near the parking lot of the school. She came to a stop behind some houses. According to the map and where they started, they should be running by here on their left. She didn’t know if they ran by already, or if they beat them here. She looked to Yukari and asked,
” Do you hear them perchance?”
