Because we are a good little portion of the group that we can afford to cut away so that there are still lots of people available to take care of the other problems out there. We're really solid as foghters, and we want to make sure our enemies aren't allowed to run rampant out there without the right people keeping them in check.

I'm confident in us. If you think about it as a now versus later thing, with now and later having no difference from each other, then this is the best course of action. We fight in this tournament, we win. He goes back on his word, and we inevitably take that chance to stop him. OR, we skip the first bit of the process and go straight to trying to stop him. It's really the same, but playing it safe first is the better option.
