Yea, pretty much. The old king died recently, but his heir is... unactive in administering to his lords. So, you've got a nation filled with practically autonomous lords and a lot of external threats. What happens from then on depends on the actions of the individual lords. Will there be a new Overlord? Maybe the current Overlord stops being so moopy and actually does something? Or, will one ambitious lord trigger a civil war? The choices are almost unlimited.
Well, either way. I'm in.
May I claim the confederacy?
To be quite honest, I my characters were heavily influenced by an anime I started watching recently called Barakamon. This RP and the anime have nothing to do with each other except that they both have humans. It's interesting to see where ideas come from sometimes.

Thank ye. Haven't had time to finsih my second one though. Need to find a plot of time to just sit down and crank it out.
Can we all agree to start magically incompetent? That way we can have another way to make "progress" instead of technology. Meaning, we would have to search around to ancient books, wizards much like resources needed to develop new tech. Also, each book could be for different kinds of magic, so even more diversity.
Hmm, is it possible that we can get the map posted up? Or at least PM each of us a little portion of the map that explains a little about where we are?
